Yeah, I still say they are the side show of this era. They aren’t taken serious anymore and would like to throw cereal and pancakes instead of getting physical. They got the talent , got the mic skills. They don’t need a belt on them but just think of them in heel form screwing everyone trying to get their spot or push.

Quote The New Day vs. Sanity: This is the first match in a four-team tournament to decide who earns a shot at the Bludgeon Brothers at SummerSlam. The Usos are on commentary, and they face The Bar next week in the tournament. Woods and Big E will represent The New Day in this one, and Alexander Wolfe and Killian Dain will represent Sanity. Wolfe starts off strong, but Woods dodges a shot and drops him with an elbow to the face. Eric Young causes a distraction, which leads to Wolfe hitting a suplex on Woods. Dain tags in and continues the offense on Woode with a slam and then a senton bomb. Woods starts fighting back against Dain and the fight spills out to ringside. This one falls apart as Young and Kofi get involved, which leads to The New Day hitting the Midnight Hour on Wolfe for the three count.

Winners: The New Day

- The New Day will now face the winners of The Usos vs. The Bar next week.

No issue with New Day winning. Such an experienced tag team should be beating a new team on the block, more often than not.

I don't expect them to get a title shot, but whoever stops them from getting it, will get a good rub.

Even though they have done so little for ages, crowds still pop for them and enjoy seeing them.

Big E was excellent in the gauntlet match albeit he didnt get past Bryan - his showing was top notch and that just shows you what could be if they decided to split the new day

I fucking hate you

Big E is the athlete of the 3 and is by far the strongest and most interesting

Hes the only one of the 3 that could be taken seriously on a singles run too

One needs to fill the match for the night, so it doesn't matter which one, as they will continue as a team.

Quote The Miz vs. Big E: Big E takes Miz into the corner early on and drops him. The Miz tries to wrestle Big E down to the mat, but the New Day Member tosses him down. They run the ropes and Big E leapfrogs Miz, then applies an abdominal stretch and spanks him. They fight out to the apron, and Big E hits a running splash on Miz right on the apron. Miz falls down to ringside, and then Woods and Kofi go to wipe Big E down and they squirt some maple syrup in his mouth. The Miz turns it around and scores a near-fall on Big E in the ring. Miz goes for a splash in the corner, but Big E catches him and suplexes him across the ring. Big E follows up with another big suplex. Big E hits the big splash and then starts clapping with the fans. The Miz ducks a shot from Big E, and he connects with a couple of kicks to Big E. Big E comes back with a side suplex. The Miz reverses a slam, they collide in mid-air with a double clothesline. The Bar runs down to jump Woods at ringside, and then Kofi leapfrogs off the ring steps onto Cesaro. Xavier then boots down Woods. Meanwhile in the ring, Miz hits the Skull Crushing Finale on Big E for the win.

Winner: The Miz

Big E winning his match can now be used as a legit reason as to why he gets picked for MITB.

That New Day didn't tell us who's going to represent them was rather heelish, as fans wanted to know.

Quote Big E and Xavier Woods (w/Kofi Kingston) vs. Sheamus and Cesaro for one spot in the Men’s Money in the Bank match. The Miz sat in on commentary. Ring announcer Greg Hamilton noted that the winning team would choose a member to be in the MITB match. Sheamus and Cesaro clotheslined Woods heading into a split-screen commercial break. [C]

Woods was isolated and made a hot tag shortly after the break. E worked over Sheamus with multiple belly-to-belly suplexes. Cesaro tagged in a short time later and struggled before eventually applying a Sharpshooter on E. Later, E speared Sheamus off the apron and then Woods hit a top rope elbow on Sheamus and pinned him…

Big E and Xavier Woods defeated Sheamus and Cesaro in 9:25 to earn one spot in the Men’s Money in the Bank match.

It's got to be the end of the group.....It would be a cop out if the other two are happy and fine about whoever gets put in the match.

They should put in Kofi Kingston. He didn't get to earn a spot in the match and he would do some crazy shit stunt to enjoy.

I don’t see WWE splitting them, the three guys are clearly having fun and they are making too much money in merchandise.

This pancake and flapjack shite though is among the worst stuff that has ever been part of WWE tv, I have no real interest in the New Day while they are still doing this garbage.

I think they can remain as a group but give either Kofi or Big E a solid singles push.

The New Day are becoming more and more irrelevant because they are being wasted so much.

They had some phenomenal matches with The Uso's and im sure they could manage the same with American Alpha 2.

I'm in agreement that this pancake and flapjack shit needs to stop - one of the most pointless things i have ever seen in wrestling history
