I mean, honestly, i'd rather if Ronda was going to have a programme between Rumble and Mania, it had been with Beth, and Nattie being the bridge in the story to bring that together.

Nattie could have gotten beaten down by Ronda after already reintroducing Beth as part of her pre-show work, and it would work better since Nattie is still full time, didn't all that long ago take a title shot, and Beth is, hopefully, not looking to return inring full time, as I think she'd have an even tougher time now getting a top spot on the card.

two matches at EC and Fast Lane, and then transition into a tag title match with Nattie at Mania would have been good enough, and wouldn't have felt as thrown away as Riott's attempts, but would still have been as obvious in their outcomes.

so, it would appear that Mrs Copeland is to have a small return, I would guess ending with her and Nattie facing off against Nia and Tamina and Bailey and Banks with potentially a SDL team at Mania.

it certainly felt weird for Nattie to come out and cut a promo referencing Ronda, but not having anything to do with her at all. I mean, not even a backstage skit where she tries to talk to her.

will be interesting to see what the actual plan is going forward, since thus far, I don't really feel there's any real plans for what to do with the female Tag titles.
