Hey guys, a while ago I remembered playing with the idea of doing Video reviews. Since that really is my thing. So with the blessing of one of the Admins. (This was back in 2013...) I was told that it would be fine so long as I post each game review separately.

Right now I'm doing a retrospective of The Tony Hawk series. Here is the review of the first two games. (Please excuse the cheap camera in one of the videos, I'm waiting on my HD one to arrive.)

It's impossible to know all of the details of the Wrestling business...So, how about instead of being a pretend booker we all go back to being fans?

The first four were instant classics upon release. After that, I'm not sure exactly what happened there, as games were either good, acceptable or a complete bomb. Underground was good, bonus points for having Hawaii as a level Tongue. Underground 2 wasn't bad either, I just wasn't a fan of the story mode, but Classic Mode was great. American Wasteland, alright, but the story mode was too short and too easy, and Classic Mode wasn't as fun. And that leads to Project 8, Proving Ground, Ride, Shred, and Pro Skater 5, all of which were duds.

I agree with you completely. I'm actually looking forward to reviewing 3 through Underground 2...but dreading the rest of the games. Haha Especially 5. I think the developers just started getting carried away and forgot what made the games fun.
