First off I am ignoring the NWA-TNA World Title so need to point out AJ Styles is a multi-time World Champion as he is a 1 time TNA World Champion and I believe a 2 time NWA-TNA World Champion. Also no need to bring up Abyss being a World Champion as he was NWA-TNA World Champ and not TNA World Champion.

Second this list is for guys who made their mark in TNA without ever being in wwe, WCW or ECW or without making much of an impact in wwe, WCW and TNA.

There have been 5 guys (that I know of) who are dubbed as TNA Originals or TNA guys that have held the TNA World Championship one time. None of them has gotten a second reign yet so the question is who gets that second reign first?

I believe James "Wandering the Midcard at the moment" Storm will win the title for a second time before anyone else this year. TNA owes it to him after not following through on his push last year and having him unseat Roode at Slammivarsary X for the belt. Instead TNA wanted to wait till BFG and shit happened between Lockdown and BFG and Storm ended up facing Roode in a grudge match rather than a title match. i can see Storm winning the strap from the TNA World Champion at Slammivarsary XI.

Shouldn't the NWA-TNA championship be considered the same as the TNA Championship?

Hopefully Roode because he is so much better than the rest of them - i would even include aries in that staement and also Roodes first reign is so much more memorable than the others too

I would like to see Joe or AJ Styles get to have a run with title just one more time, I can see the 'Phenomenal One' most likely winning the World Championship after his banned on never getting another shot at it till Bound For Glory of this year had been lifted or they drag that out until that date. Although, I wouldn't mind or fuss about Double A being the Champ again...

But, if I had to pick any of these five, I'd have to go with the 'IT Factor'!
Bobby Roode impressed not only me, but the entire wrestling world ever since his Heel turn and eventual spilt from Beer Money, along with his awesome feud with 'The Cowboy' James Strom this past year! He has tremendous skills and ticks all the boxes in what makes a great superstar in my book! He is basically a Total Package!

Roode first then Aries second, no-one else really warrants it. AJ and Joe were great champions for their time but TNA has moved on, they should be midcard acts now. Storm is vastly overrated, can't see why people think he should be in the main event.

Roode and Aries are the only two people I can see being worth a second shot. Roode's title reign was fantastic and I think the only complaint I can have is that they didn't book him strongly enough between his defences. Aries is an easy choice for TNA's CM Punk type character and should remain heel which suits his appearance and speaking style.

Samoa Joe would have to dedicate himself to everything given to him for the next 12 months or so before he could be called up for such a high position again. He helped bury himself back in 2008 and has never really fully recovered from it. Joe is his own worst enemy when it comes to getting the support of management, but he knows that in TNA he's in the best position as WWE wouldn't likely be interested in him now.

AJ is a shining example of someone who has become outclassed as a company has grown. AJ in 2002-2005 was a big deal but he was amongst the likes of Raven (as much as I love him), Glenn Gilberti and Ron Killings. Current stars like Austin Aries, Robert Roode and James Storm weren't nearly as well-known and hadn't been in the business as long. As TNA has grown and pulled in the likes of Kurt Angle and Jeff Hardy, AJ Styles' has slowly been removed as the poster boy and I don't blame TNA one bit. He is a cult favourite and is always someone who can steal the show, but he doesn't have the tools to strike out on his own consistently. TNA have tried repeatedly to find otherwise but to no avail, and all of AJ's main event stints result in a slide back to the midcard.

James Storm I think falls into a modern-day AJ Styles category. He was showing real promise as part of the BFG Series and the break-up of Beer Money months previous. Yet when all the story had disappeared and he needed to show something more himself, he seemed to remain stagnant and all the hype appeared lost. I'm hoping he can demonstrate something throughout 2013 and I'd consider him a possibility for a second run.
