A lot of us old school fans from back in the late 80s early 90s era have been saying for years that we needs to bring back more managers like Heenan, Fuji, Mouth of the South, Wippleman, Bearer, and Ellering. Well Paul Heyman is still around somewhat, Paul Ellering himself has come back to manage the Authors of Pain, and now it seems Titus O'Niel has joined those ranks.

Isn't Titus bigger than even DDP was? How long will the Titus Brand continue? Will he meet with success, get someone a title and then take credit for it? Will he get overbearing and turn a heel babyface and bump for him to put him over?

What are your guys thoughts on Titus as a manager?

I like him as a manager, far more effective than he ever was as a wrestler. I'm just not sure if he can succeed in getting Apollo Crewes over which is clearly the goal, sadly Crewes' rushed promotion from developmental to the main roster may have killed his WWE career and his stop/start push since aligning with Titus hasn't really helped.

Would like to see a more generic big guy or a tag team paired with Titus like what they did back in the day with managers like Slick and Harvey Wippleman.

Titus is billed as 6'6" and DDP was billed as 6'5". However.... according to Titus' old football stats he's  6'4".

I'm rather torn on this one. I like seeing a classic-style manager, but I'm not sure about it being Titus. It reminds me a bit of when Kevin Nash was managed in TNA; visually it was weird seeing a big man out there managing X-Division sized guys.

Also why is Titus managing instead of wrestling? Personally, I think they should have kayfabed a knee injury and then given him a cane. That would also give him an old fashioned "international object" to interfere with.

Titus also needs to settle on being either a face or a heel for the long term. The whole Titus Brand started as a clear heel tactic, but recruiting faces pulled Titus back into babyface territory. WWE needs to decide quickly which Titus is supposed to be and then stick with it.
