Ladies and Gentlemen, I am pleased to announce the return of the most must-see PPV in all of TUP, of course i am talking about Ticket Wars!!!!!

Ticket Wars is a huge fan favourite amongst many of the TUP universe and after a little while in the shadows, Ticket Wars will be returning to the main event of TUPWrestlingforum.com

This years ticket wars will be similar to those of old with a few tweaks here and there .... so without further ado....

The Rules

1. Every Ticket Wars card must contain AT LEAST one tag team match and one women's match

2. Each participant can pick ONE non in-ring personality, this is the ONE SHOT DEAL (http://www.tupwrestlingforum.com/ticket-war-one-shot-deal-personalities_topic18121.html)

3. The one shot deal can be made at any time during the picking process and DOES NOT need to be made as part of a standard draft pick. As in previous years the ONE SHOT DEAL can be cashed in at any point but it MUST BE stated during the pick that the ONE SHOT DEAL is in play. THE ONE SHOT DEAL CAN NOT BE TRADED - so pick wisely.

4. Each card must have a MINIMUM of 6 matches

5. Each participant will have a MAXIMUM time of 3 days to make their pick, if a pick is missed - there will be a period of time (agreed by all other participants) at the end of the draft to pick up those missed picks. As per normal, tag team members must be made 1 pick at a time. ONCE YOU HAVE MADE YOUR PICK - PM THE NEXT IN THE LIST TO LET THEM KNOW THEY ARE "ON THE CLOCK"

6. If a participant can not make a pick for whatever reason - work, travelling, holiday, a list of preferred picks (MAX of 5 per round) is to be sent to me in advance with an explanation. I will then make the picks on that participants behalf. If out of the 5 sent per round, none of the wrestlers are available to be picked, then this will count as a missed pick for that participant and they will have to make up for it at the end of the draft process - as per point 5.

7. Once the draft is complete, each participant will have 1 WEEK to finalise their cards. I will then populate all of the cards into a random list generator to decide which cards will compete against each other. Participants can begin creating their threads for the cards whenever they like and as per years gone by can start to role play / build up the events which will also allow for feedback from other participants and TUPees.

8. Once the cards are created and we have the participant v participant match ups, a voting period of 1 WEEK will be opened for votes to be cast. After that week the card with the highest votes will be declared the WINNER and progress to the next stage.

9. If after the initial voting period, there is a draw, we will reach out to any TUPees via the shoutbox for them to cast a vote - the first vote after that request is the final vote and therefore the deciding factor (if anyone else has a better idea for this then feel free to PM me or discuss below)

10. Trades are allowed all of the way through the drafting process but must be declared in the Thread i set up specifically for that issue. If any participants believe that 2 people are working together to improve both of their cards, the trades will be refused (i have overall say as to whether or not trades are approved - and until i state "approved" in the trade thread - then they do not count)

11. Have Fun

12. Someone sticky the Ticket Wars XIII Threads i create please

As a collective, we all need to agree a start date for this

IF ANYONE HAS ANY PROPOSED RULE CHANGES OR CLARIFICATION - PLEASE RAISE BELOW AND WE CAN IRON OUT BEFORE TICKET WARS STARTS - ONCE STARTED NO RULES WILL BE CHANGED OR AMENDED.

Just FYI the previous ticket wars didn't have a rule that a women's match be on the card, but as the previous seasons winner, I was going to specify that this season a woman's match must be on the card, so I guess we're cool. haha

I know but i thought to make it interesting we should do it this time

I hadn't realised that the winner of the previous one had selected a stipulation but its cool anyway we were on the same page

I don't think it was ALWAYS done, sometimes people declined to specify, other times they weren't given the chance, but yah, frequently people would get to specify one small tweak.

ok so hopefully we get a few more participants posting in here over the next few days so we can decide a start date

A week or 2 is probably the best bet to give everyone a chance to log on and see whats happening

People could also start to PM me (because posting in here may get lost in all of the posts) federation and card names so i can update the drafting / rosters threads

I'd say start towards the end of the week now. It allows everyone to view that we're starting and seeing what order they're in...could also send out a bulk PM to everyone who is involved to get them prepared too.

My vote is for either next Sunday or Monday to give people a full week to sign in, and then come up with some ideas for their promotion and potential early draft choices and matches.

My promotion is once again, the RWF, the Roughneck Wrestling Federation.

Well next week it is highly likley I will be at least a month without access to Interwebs. I have given my picks alt picks and everything to #H.

If I am around I will make my picks and what not but If i am awol then it will be #H.

Hope I get interwebs in the sticks so I can get my reports handed in on time but that is business not pleasure related.
