For the tag team match, does it have to be a standard tag team match?  What about specialty matches such as a Survivor Series-esque match or Lethal Lockdown?

YES, AFTER MUCH CONSIDERATION, I.E., NAGGING, I BROKE DOWN AND READ THE RULES.

ARE YOU HAPPY NOW!?!

You know what I mean.  If not, let me rephrase it.  Do matches like the Survivor series match or mixed tag matches fall under this category?  I mean, they're specialty or gimmick matches more than they are tag matches.

"Is it a tag match?"

"Urr yeah."

"Then it counts."

Easy fucking logic.

NEW TICKET WARS RULE - ARENA TERRITORY RIGHTS

I have actually had this in my mind for a long time. The basic premise of Ticket Wars is that all of the cards are taking place on the same night at roughly the same time slot, akin to the Monday night wars as I wrote years ago. This of course means that two Ticket Wars cards can not be held in the same arena.

So from henceforth; each Ticket Wars promotion will have the exclusive rights to one arena, gardens, stadium, dome, field, center, bingo hall, or where ever you wish to have your card. The rights to the place you chose will belong to your promotion.

When your promotion has a pick (ideally the first pick you have) in addition to whom you actually draft your promotion will also state which wrestling arena you wish to have your card in.

Remember that as Ticket Wars is an all time game, any place that ever existed is up for grabs. You can draft a demolished wrestling arena just as you can draft a dead wrestler. However, for these purposes direct replacements of an arena count as the same location. For example, the "new" Madison Square Garden that opened in 1968 is the same as the "old" Madison Square Garden before it. Ditto with the "new" Boston Garden (i.e. Fleet Center) and so on. However, the Philadelphia Spectrum and the ECW Arena, while both in Philadelphia, are of course two different places. This means that two Ticket Wars promotions can have their card in each of these places in the same Ticket Wars season; just as the WWF and ECW, respectively, did back when.

If you want to pull a WrestleMania 2 and have your card in multiple locations, you can; just pick one arena per draft pick that you have.

Arena rights CAN be traded or even exchanged in free agency.

Hopefully that makes sense, if there are any questions feel free to ask. If you think I am making it more complicated than it has to be; not really it just makes sense. Tongue This rule addition shall be effective Ticket Wars XIV and forward.

That’s exactly what he means

Personally I think it’s a great idea and a continual development of the best game on this forum. Little changes like this keep it interesting.

I believe the area / stadium etc choice should factor into people’s votes this season because it is going to require more though as venues start becoming unavailable

Yep, except as said the arena rights can be traded; so they are not so much "locked" in.

Plus of course the one shot deal is in effect, but as always the osd can not be traded.

Does it have to be at an American stadium or a stadium that has been used in the past ?
