Cool. TBH I was thinking in my head that I would OSD this guy up until yesterday when I realized he's probably not eligible to be drafted with the one shot deal. It's easy to take famous managers for granted that they would obviously be an OSD choice, when technically they are not necessarily.

"The Ravishing Russian" Lana is removed from the One Shot Deal list as she became an active wrestler since.

Adding Rene Young.

I will also add anyone you guys suggest.

P.S. If you want to pick a one shot deal not on this list before I get here again just pick it don't wait for me to approve it; it'll be fine as long as it's reasonable.

I just had this idea... one that might have helped me had we put it in place before this game started.

What if we were to add a stipulation that you COULD draft a wrestler in a non-wrestling role with the OSD but only if the OSD is used in the 20th round of the draft?

Doing so would spice up the 20th round, even add a bit of value to the 20th during trades because then that round wouldn't be seen as a throwaway round as often that round is.

For example, in my card there is a promoter I would like to have for my card that would be a perfectly acceptable OSD draft pick in most people's minds because that's the job he is most known for except for the fact that before he was a promoter in the 1970's he was a wrestler during the 1960's. I also don't know if he has EVER been drafted.

If we allowed this stipulation into the game we might see people hold on to their 20th round draft picks to add an OSD pick onto their final round of drafting to get guys like Paul Ellering, Gorilla Monsoon, Jesse Ventura and others who were obviously more well known for their non-wrestling roles, while still allowing plenty of time for other people working on their wrestlers to get those guys in the 19th or earlier as active wrestlers.

Anyway, this is a minor thing, but let me know what you guys think.

After thinking about it I think this would be fair. There are a lot of people who want to take somebody as a one shot deal but are barred from doing so as they wrestled a few matches or wrestled back in the day.

And as you said if someone wanted say Vince McMahon for their roster they would have until their 19th pick to get him or else in the 20th he would be fair game as on OSD.

Then again, we were never perfect to begin with. Captain Lou Albano was on the original One Shot Deal list Willy made and he's a former United States Tag Team Champion.

I think I know who it is. Tongue
