So, Joey Styles has no problem making the list. My question stemming from that is this:
Where the hell is THE Quintessential Stud Muffin himself: Joel Gertner?

Oh, and Bill Alfonso...

I didn't forget Captain Lou; I deliberately left him off my list because he is a wrestler, one half of the Sicilians.

I left him off for the same reason I left off Classy Freddy Blassie, Gorilla Monsoon, Mr. Fuji, Sheik/General Adnan (Billy White Wolf), Vince McMahon, "The Utica Panther" Joe Malcewicz, and many others.

That is why Willy's plan will always have debate on who to accept into the non-wrestler pool as so many "non-wrestlers" were once wrestlers.

Willy, can we add to this list still?

Well, he's another of those guys that was a wrestler before being a non-wrestler. He just didn't wrestle on WWE's main roster, but he came up thru developmental as a wrestler.

Much like Armando Alejandro Estrada.  He original came into WWE as a wrestler and went thru developmental as a wrestler. But only worked the main roster as a non-wrestler. Although he did have a couple of matches on ECW.

Hell, we forget "Playboy" Gary Hart and Skandor Akbar. Both of them spent the overwhelming majority of their careers as managers. And they were both far more influential as managers than several of the guys on this list.

So where do we stand on this issue with Andy Kaufman? I mean, he's about as much of a wrestler as Vince Russo, but Andy Kaufman was never ACTUALLY a wrestler, yet wrestled a whole lot more than Vince Russo, yet Vince Russo was WCW World Heavyweight Champion. I mean, Andy Kaufman would kick the crap out of girls, but other than that he never really wrestled any man except for Jerry LOLer.

So it looks like Russ made an illegal osd pick as neither Vince McMahon is on this list.

Ok so I read Vince jr was left off the list because he is a draw in the ring as a wrestler, but Vince Sr? Why is HE not on this list?

The list here is incomplete. As evidence by all the names we continued to add to the orignal list. The more we thought about it the more names we came up with to add. I'm sure with minimal effort I could come with a few more names that should be included.

I, for one, was against the One Shot on grounds similar to this. Many guys & gals in wrestling have worn different hats. Wrestlers became managers, announcers and referees. While we've also seen referees, announcers and managers used within wrestling matches.

Vince Jr. won the 1999 Royal Rumble, he was WWE Champion (for 6 days) and held the WWE version of the ECW title for a month.

Yet since 1971, Vince has spent the overwhelming majority of his career as an announcer and on-screen authority figure.

I can see the argument both for and against adding Vince to the One Shot list. If anyone else has opinion on the matter speak up now.
