What if...

OSD picks were saved until round 20?

Hmm, I guess that would defeat the purpose of the osd wouldn't it? Wasn't the point to get someone to use for promo work in building storylines for your card?

Meh, it is such a triviall thing anyway, I don't know why the issue bugs me so much.

BTW, Bobby Heenan in a match like how I booked Kaufman my rookie season would be awesome to see. Two Heenan stable guys clash, if the face wins he gets an additional match against Bobby Heenan immediately following his win.

Same goes for Heyman, Jimmy Hart, Mr. Fuji, or any other notorious heel manager.

Why would someone in Heenan's stable want to wrestle him?

Because every guy that leaves Heenan's stable is an instantly way over babyface. Some of the biggest face turns have come when someone decided they were being held down by The Brain.

It's this same logic that is used when people try and find a good way to finish Lesnar vs Reigns. Heyman turns on Lesnar, Reigns becomes a Heenan guy. Lesnar is a monster face, Reigns a top heel, and their return match would be hot.

Cm punk getting his hands on Heyman was a big story as well recently, and the biggest reason of all was because Punk was (and is) a Paul Heyman Guy.

I guess. That kind of story is better over a long time rather than build up to one show though.

I'm confused by these OND characters.  Are they draft picks?  OR are they supplemental?

They're supplemental picks you can make on your turn (any turn) who are not wrestlers and won't be used in a wrestling role. Commentators, managers (though not former big name wrestlers who became managers like Mr. Fuji), etc.

When you say supplemental, is that to say during a draft pick you can select a wrestler AND a one shot deal?

Yes

You can make an additional pick once during the drafting process (whilst its your turn) and pick your OSD

You do not need to sacrifice a draft pick to make this pick

Ok so... there's a guy I want to draft later on. He COULD theoretically be OSD'd, and I really do not want him drafted as an OSD as he is a former wrestler, just known mostly for his role as a manager.

After reading all this over again (the last 10 pages of it) and reading and remembering my issue with the Stephanie McMahon OSD pick, I just want to say that I hope we stick to the rules that if the person isn't on the list on page 1, they can not be drafted as an OSD. Otherwise this round (round 3) I would likely draft this well known manager/former wrestler as an OSD.

As long as we stick to those rules, I will be using my OSD this round to draft someone else instead.

To keep things simple - the rules remain from what i remember unchanged

If the person is on the list, they can be picked either as OSD or another draft pick can be sacrificed and they can be chosen via the normal method

If the person is not on the list on page 1, then they can not be selected via the OSD
