What about the Dead Man? The Phenom? Are his days in the squared circle numbered? Will he retire soon? Will he make it to a perfect 16-0 at Wrestlemania? How about this?

At the 2002 Royal Rumble........the REAL winner was.......MAVEN!!! Undertaker took him out of the match but if memory serves....never over the top rope. What's up with that?

You try ramming your head through a popcorn machine and then see how long you'd last in the Rumble after that....

From Jim Ross website.........

Quote I agree that without a doubt the Undertaker is one of the top "big men" of all time. Taker is on the "Andre level" when it comes to talent and being an attraction. However, Taker’s tenure may forge him ahead of any other big man ever in the business when all is said and done. Few men I have ever met in my 30+ years in the biz have earned the respect of The Undertaker. If I were to start a wrestling territory, and no, I am NOT thinking of such, and had to pick 3 talents to start the company; Taker would definitely be one of the three. For the record the other two will remain nameless for the time being.

Gotta agree totally with JR. If I was to start up my own wrestling company I would pick Undertaker for my three main talents as well. His legendary status makes his matches with crap like Batista and Khali bareable. He can get over in a number of different gimmicks and the guy is ultra loyal to WWE. Look how he never went to WCW or how when those guys came in he protected his locker room to make sure the poison that went on in the competition did not happen where he was.

Jim Ross Website: JR - I am a huge fan of the Undertaker and wondered if there is/will be a book in the works about his life and career. Also, I remember his stint as ‘Mean Mark Callous’ in WCW. Did you interact much with him in WCW and, if so, what did you think of him back then?

TrojanfanMike

I have a great relationship with the Undertaker and his story may be told one day. but it would not surprise me whatsoever if The Undertaker never writes his autobiography. Taker’s legacy in the WWE will be every much as significant as Andre the Giant’s when all is said and done. I was very high on Taker in WCW, but if my memory serves me correctly Ole Anderson wasn’t and he was the boss at that particular time. Taker is a WCCW alumni. like Steve Austin, who made the journey from Dallas to Atlanta to the WWE.

which no doupt was probally the best decision of his life! imagine if he didnt make the move and like sting, never did. the wwe would be a different place to say the least! i still dont like the fact that goldberg isnt wrestling anymore, i mean i know his run in wwe should have been a lot better but come on, did he bad mouths tna all the time saying he will never wrestle there and he is trying to do a rock and stay out of wrestling. wouldnt mind so much if he was in more films, he is a pretty good actor but ive only ever seen him in 3 films, only one of which he was the lead role. i much prefer him as a wrestler, and this begs the question, will wwe ever put taker in one of thier films? would he be intrested? i think a movie of bothers of destruction would be awesome lol.

Taker's face may show his age but if you watch him wrestle now compaired to then he is faster leaner and looks like he's in the best shape of his life. His career in WWE spans a very lenghty period during which he never spoke about quiting for WCW or anywhere else. He has a good relationship with the company who have rewarded him with main event runs and storylines and an undefeated streak at Wrestlemania. And Undertaker has returned the favor with 5 star matches though out his career and some of the best feuds in WWE. He also has that abilty to make near anyone look good, even his squash match he had with Hardy a few years ago made Jeff look good. Taker can simply do that and that takes a real wrestler. The deadman is one of my favorites and I think it will be a long time before he retires.

Jim Ross Website: Hey JR!

Question. Maybe my memory is failing me, but I was watching WWE 24/7, and I saw the debut of the Undertaker at the Survivor Series many years ago. I clearly remember seeing that live at the time, and correct me if I’m wrong, but wasn’t the Undertaker originally announced to the crowd as "Kane the Undertaker"? If so, this has been edited by WWE. I was wondering if you could clarify this for me. Is it possible they quickly dropped the Kane part of the name, and then recycled it later for a new character? - Rowdy Ron

I think upon further review, the officials decided to simply go with "The Undertaker" w/o the name. I don’t think there is anything wrong with your memory.

well intresting, it would make sense that they used the name on kane after because he is supposed to be undertakers brother, or half brother anyway, anyone know if they are acturally half brothers? i was never sure seeing as if it was just part of the storyline wouldnt they just make them full brothers?
