HBK was a brilliant idea for the segment with him being Mr Wrestlemania and a former opponent of Taker there, but it was just too short.

Roman was heelish in how abruptly the segment ended when it could have continued a bit longer.

Shawn spoke a lot of truth to Roman about pressure.

Yeah it was a welcome change of pace. I'm wondering if Strowman might end up in the mix. Truth is Strowman is starting to get over and as a babyface no less. Reigns can always go back to being protected by the shield, and kept babyface, Strowman getting over as a babyface might be a better path for the future of the wwe.

I almost wonder if Strowman vs Taker vs Roman might go over well, including if Reigns were pinned by Strowman?

Reigns is a big guy in the prime of his life and Undertaker still didn't sell the Spear.

I hate 50/50 booking. Make one or the other win the segment instead of both of them coming out of it looking strong, Reigns for the Spear and Undertaker for recovering from it so quickly.

I'd like to see them have a brawl next monday. Maybe give it a bigger feel by having Stephanie demand the locker room come out to split them.

Who really gives a toss about this Roman Empire...
Reigns just hasnt or doesnt cut it as the star they wanted him to be, and I really dont see why a so called heel turn will change his character one little bit.
Please dont let him beat Taker at Mania !!

If this is to be the last match of The Undertaker which is a real possibility he should put Roman over like a boss.

Most are calling for a heel turn but I don't see it happening as WWE are insistent on Reigns staying face, Roman is getting the Cena treatment from fans but as long as he sells merchandise and tickets that doesn't matter.

I personally think Reigns is doing a good job, he's evolved in to a strong worker in the ring and has a crowd pleasing move set and obviously the look that is perfect for action figures and billboards. He has also improved tremendously on the mic and I like that they've kept him dark and intense instead of going the Cena route and making him too family friendly. Fans boo him because like with Cena they see it as the cool thing to do as Roman is clearly the pet project and favourite of management.

Fans will initially hate it like they did when Lesnar crushed the streak but a strong win for Reigns will then allow him to come on Raw the next night and claim how this is now his yard and he's the new big Dog etc. Fact is Roman will have to absorb the massive heel reaction he will get from that to eventually convert it in to cheers.

Reigns has it. Now. He didn't a few years ago, but he has come into his own and he is more than main event ready at this point. A heel turn would make it organic and his acceptance would be complete in terms of being a main event talent. Without it he gets the Cena reaction which MAY be financially more what wwe wants/needs, but I think in the long term, it would be better to have a 1-2 year run with Reigns as a heel.

He is not a technician, and he never will be. But he can tell a story and work with anyone just fine, and most importantly, he is safe and is easy to get along with backstage. From a bookers standpoint he has money written all over him.

From a fans standpoint though, he is boring and stale. That is the fault of wwe creative though not Reigns.

At this point in Cena's career, most people will grudgingly accept that he is legitimately up at the very highest tier of talent wwe has ever produced. He is up there with Andre, Hogan, Savage, Hitman, Austin, and The Rock. Cena now has made more money for the wwe than Austin. Yet you compare Cena to Reigns and what do you see? Reigns is the next John Cena. Just about everybody sees it whether they think it is a good thing or a bad thing they see it.

Cena facing The Undertaker is something of a fantasy matchup at mania, but what good does it do Cena? Not a lot tbh. But for Reigns? If Reigns beats Undertaker he is a made man. If he has a great match with Undertaker (not likely) and loses, he still deserves a lot of respect for that. It makes a certain amount of sense for this match to take place.

Once again the problem is telling a story that will win the fans around to that same kind of thinking, and it is HERE that wwe fails so miserably. I've no interest in seeing this match, and that's wwes fault, specifically Vince's fault.

I'm expecting a strong match from these two this Sunday, Roman has proved he can deliver in a big match setting and The Undertaker even now getting on a bit and broken down can still produce a excellent match once a year. Reigns is safe and knows what he's doing out there which is probably another reason he was selected as Takers opponent. I'm liking the darker edgier attitude from Reigns lately as well.

I know its the 'done thing' these days, that a former star should put over somebody by losing to them but surely Taker of all people shouldnt have to do this.
Its been said over the years that Taker himself wanted the streak to end before it did, and I genuinely thought Randy Orton was going to do it in '05 when he was doing the legend killer character.

Well it sure as hell looks like Reigns has retired the undertaker. Not sure what to say about that. It's sad but it was time, too.

It is time for him to retire and the match wasn't awful...Reigns must be cemented as a heel now after that match surely. Twas a sad site to see him folding the trenchcoat and leaving his hat in the ring
