By "feel good" I mean a nostalgic feel good moment for the fans who saw Taker over the ages and would love to see him do anything one more time, especially on an anniversary show like that.

I.e. fans like me and all the others who were in awe at the Manhattan Center at seeing the man in person.

I've seen you hate on the Undertaker over several threads now (the Raw thread, the WrestleMania 34 thread) and I'm not sure where it's coming from. From the last WrestleMania match it's clear he can still put on a good match even if he did come back in the ring (which once again it's unclear.) Maybe it's just one of those times you hate someone. But me I love the guy; and of course respect the hell out of him.

He looked good out there but I am one of those who feel he should've stayed retired, his segment should've been a retirement farewell this though was just weird it didn't hint at anyone at all.

Quote The Undertaker is up next.

- We go to the Manhattan Center where Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler introduce the same video package looking at The Undertaker's career that aired earlier.

- The Undertaker comes out at the Manhattan Center with the lights on, and Howard Finkle does the ring introduction. Taker gets in the ring with a cloak on, and he appears to have long hair. He gets on the mic and talks about his path of destruction in the WWE for the last 25 years. He talks about Stone Cold, Mick Foley, and Kane having to answer to him. He says on this sacred ground, he says for all who have fallen, he declares it's time you truly rest in peace. J.R. wonders if this was a warning, and the announcers don't seem to know what he meant.

His appearances are so few and far between, that this one was a wasted one.

We are no closer to knowing if he's retired and nothing storyline wise got built either. Utterly pointless.

As Shizzel said he did look good. But feeling good is another thing altogether and with every new pay cheque he accepts, his legacy gets diluted a bit more with his below par matches that aren't to the level of his prime.

It can only be me that saw that promo as a farewell thing? I mentioned it in my Raw review that he looked a bit teary eyed on one of the shots, and with him saying they can all now rest in peace pretty much says that's it for me.

It was fine, a very random promo that really achieved nothing but it wouldn't have been 25 years of Raw without The Undertaker and it was good that the Manhattan fans got to see him live as that alone is a memorable experience that makes you glad you bought the ticket.

If there are plans for him at Wrestlemania baffles me a little that they didn't set things in motion here and provide the fans with a much bigger angle but then again perhaps The Undertaker is retired and there are no plans for another match.

That's how I saw it too, but apparently I'm the crazy one here for not being as enraged as the live audience of the Manhattan Center.

This was just WrestleMania 2 all over again, except that people back then weren't nearly such butthurt pansies... whatever.

It was one of the strangest promos ive ever seen

Dunno if it was a retirement speech but if it was, hes had long enough to prepare for it but the whole segment just seemed rushed, uncomfortable and unplanned
