Theunprettier.com as of today 06/02/2009 has come to terms on the release of The Steel Dragon. We wish him well in all future endeavours. However he is still a wanker of the highest order and a poor excuse for a human being.
Let it be noted that Theunprettier.com has a zero tolerance policy on 'flaming' and will take action if any member is found acting in such a manner. Of course this doesn't count. He really is a shit.

Anyone with any problems can PM Admin, Pac or myself where we will be happy to help

* What a special moment for SteelDragon to be released on the birthday of the former Mrs Webby that is Asmodai.

* I believe Pac-Man might be conducting a press conference sometime later today to take questions for the worldwide media on the events of a couple of hours ago LOL

* Flaming, board wars etc are not tolerated here. The NW Punk thread was getting out of hand and off topic. Things should be better now.

* STD had enough warnings and didn't want to listen. Two releases in the past week with a couple of thousand posts between them.

It's a shame he was released, but he clearly wasn't interested in being reasonable and only came here to advertise OYDK while stirring up when he could. I remember reading some of TSD's posts in the serious topic section - some things he said actually made me reconsider some of my viewpoints. That was the TSD that was right for TUP.

I got along with him fine when we talked wrestling.  Fortunately for me, I never got pulled into this other stuff where he became an ass.

*The Unprettier Kickass Coalition's official Champ and Problem Solver, Pierre "Pac-Man" Louis-Jacques, has arrived at the podium and is ready to speak in front of the reporters of the New Wrestling Press, which is basically copy bodies of WWE and TNA wrestlers Curt Hawkins, Chris Sabin, Taylor Wilde, Zack Ryder, Maria Kanellis, Jillian Hall, Alex Shelley, John Morrison, Angelina Love, and Unprettier affiliate Kip James, taking to the task of acting like reporters. Standing on either side of Pac-Man are the First Account Administrator, Andrew "Admin" Steeples and the Almighty Leader of Webism, "WebmasterFF" Joseph Richard Seals.*

Pac-Man: “Thank you all, ladies and gentlemen, for coming here, and… really, for allowing me to come here and address the populace, as now we have caught ourselves at a crossroads, and a time of adversity has just been reached for us here at the Unprettier.”

Kip James: “Hold on a second, guys. I know I'm affiliated with the Unprettier and everything, but I believe my people got in touch with Admin and Webby on either side of you up there. Why is it, Pac-Man, that you're over here talking about this and not them?”

Pac-Man: “First of all, Kip, thank you for speaking up and being the first of the press to ask me questions during this meeting. The Unprettier did well to affiliate with a legend such as yourself as our first professional wrestler within the WWE and TNA mainstream. To answer your question, though, I am speaking here with Webby and Admin at my sides because I have specifically expressed interest in doing this press conference, and being the fair and balanced administrators that they are, they have chosen to trust their champion and problem solver and moderator to also be the Coalition's House Speaker for this occasion. Now, if this answer was to your satisfaction, I'd like to be able to begin to explain things. So, are we good here?”

Kip James: “No doubt, Pac. If my people's friends trust you, that's good enough for me. Keep going, please.”

Pac-Man: “Thank you. Recently, we've had to release Brandon a.k.a. "NW-Punk" from his contract due to becoming the example listed in Convention 3 of the Conditions And Guidelines Which Pac-Man Must Remind Everyone As A Problem Solver That All Discussion Forums And Message Boards Should Be Following Anyway, also known as the Pac Tomko Conventions. For those of you who are not in the know, Convention 3 states that the forum cannot tolerate wannabe internet thugs who seek to create negative atmospheres and put others down. And that's exactly what Mr. Brandon was doing here at the Unprettier shoutbox in recent days, attempting to create a negative atmosphere within the Unprettier by slagging everyone off unwarrantedly, and therefore he deserved to be released. However, this incident only served to augment another incident, that had been taking place for months now.

“Particularly, this would be the situation surrounding the man whose release we are obviously here to discuss. That would be "the SteelDragon" Ryan Blade. See, Ryan Blade once was suspended, I believe on October 11th or 12h, by our very own Leader of Webism, "WebmasterFF" Joseph Richard Seals, for 24 hours, as a result of Blade showing sardonic defiance in a disagreement with the Webby, which I believe had something to do with circulating flame wars involving Blade, David "Boogs" Waldie, and Greg "Doc_Pothead" Thomas. Upon reinstatement, he immediately decided to leave and to start a new forum called Oh You Didn't Know. At the time, he had insisted on that there would be no forum war between Oh You Didn't Know and the Unprettier, as well as on that he would not be posting here ever again because he wanted to focus on running Oh You Didn't Know.

“Unfortunately, running Oh You Didn't Know apparently required allowing thugs to run rampant espousing the concept of war with the Unprettier, and periodically coming back to the Unprettier and posting here as soon as any situation arose, simply to advertise his forum while at the same time attempting to put the Unprettier down. The last straws occurred on the Brandon release thread, where SteelDragon decided to say that if Brandon wasn't welcome here, he was certainly welcome at "other" forums. Which would be fine, as we obviously weren't gonna stop him from going to another forum, except that whole line of " 'other' forums" has been SteelDragon's trademark quote to blatantly attempt to put down the Unpretter and advertise his own forum right in our midst.

“Add that to the vitriolic thuggery and war-espousing going on at his own forum that he responds to with shady disingenuous unchecking responses of "we don't like war but if you wanna go and mess with them we're not responsible". You can immediately tell that allowing him to run unchecked would be a gross offense to our own belief in good working forum order. Any good forum staff governing under any proper set of rules similar to the Admin Regulations or the Pac Tomko Conventions, both of which apply here at the Unprettier, would hold accountability and responsibility for dealing with any actions undertaken by members or opponents of the forum which would be designed to invoke a war between their forum and another, no matter where these actions took place. However, SteelDragon has made it more than clear that he refuses to do that, and has seemingly begun to side with the thugs and welcomed war, indicating that they have successfully created a negative atmosphere and he has chosen to support its quest to carry over to the Unprettier. His activities in that regard had at that point become absolutely shameful, and completely against the Admin Regulations and the Pac Tomko Conventions by which we govern the Unprettier.

“It's utterly embarrassing for a legacy of I believe around two years and 1500 posts to be tarnished over a period of three to four months, simply because a man couldn't get over the fact that he went out of line and needed to be suspended. But, at some point during all of this, he could have and should have taken up his differences with Webby cordially and respectfully. Instead, he chose not to merely question, but to challenge his authority, and to start on this path to basically becoming a supporter of warmongering wannabe net-terrorists such as Greg Thomas. Thus it was absolutely necessary to release Ryan Blade from his account. That is honestly the best I can sum things up at the moment, but if you guys have any further questions, I'll be happy to see if I can try to go further into it. So, shoot away, ladies and gentlemen?”

Taylor Wilde: “Okay, Pac-Man, we just wanna understand the situation a little better. So, what exactly happened between WebmasterFF and the SteelDragon in the release thread of NW-Punk?”

Pac-Man: “The beautiful Taylor Wlide shows jornalistic integrity. I like that. To answer all the details to your question, it really all started when once again, for practically the billionth time since announcing that he was leaving the Unprettier and "never coming back", Ryan Blade decided to rear his head into Unprettier business and take the release of an unruly member, that being NW-Punk, for some joke opportunity to attempt to put us down and simultaneously plug his own site. So WebmasterFF decided to specifically block out his plug, because quite frankly it's just gotten to that point when no matter what he says, if it even sounds like something that seems as if it could possibly be an advertisement, it's a redundant giveaway both of the fact that it is and what the advertisement is for. He rebutted by saying that the Admin Regulations only specifically prohibited saying the full name of another forum. There's already a mistake in that assessment, because it also prohibits URLs. We could excuse that error, but even if we do so… I'm sorry to say this for SteelDragon, but there's no way we can agree with him.”

Alex Shelley: “Hold on a second, Pac. I got something to say.”

Pac-Man: “Speak up, Shells.”

Alex Shelley: “The rules only block out saying the full name and URL of a forum, right?”

Pac-Man: “Correct.”

Alex: Shelley: “So how is it that, assuming he used initials or that "other forums" line you were talking about, that it permits you to block those references?”

Pac-Man: “Well, sometimes we have to look at the spirit of the rules rather than their letter. And the spirit of the rule is not to discriminate against full names or against URLs. The point of that regulation being there in the first place is to allow no one to indiscriminately advertise their site anywhere they want here in the Unprettier as if it is in any way that far above the Unprettier that they can just do that. There is a system for links to other forums to be posted. Keep it in your signature, or post it in a specific sector of the Non-Serious area. Every single good working discussion forum on the internet in the world has a system including a certain place where links to other forums are allowed outside of signatures, and no other section of the forum is grounds for any form of blatant advertisement of another forum in any way. SteelDragon has blatantly violated that regulation in 96% of every post he's given since October 13th, 2008, the day he said he would never post here again. Any time any situation arose here to which he could do it to his convenience, he did it. He posted that obnoxiously obvious and insidious reference insinuating that his forum was the Promised Land compared to the Unprettier.”

Chris Sabin: “So you were acting under the spirit of the rule. That still doesn't explain why you block someone when he's not violating any rules as they're written.”

Pac-Man: “As they're written, Sabes. Those are the key words. That's why it's called acting under the spirit of the rules. And acting under the spirit of the rule is something that is usually done when discretion has to be taken in special cases. Once you get to violating this obvious guideline in every single post you make to the point that any level of implication becomes gapingly obvious you're trying to use the Unprettier
BLATANTLY AND PUBLICLY to recruit everybody off to a specific "other board" and away from the Unprettier, thus trying to turn the board upside down against itself, there's gotta be some level of discretion from the ones with power to do something about it.

“It's just like when heel wrestlers, which you guys know something about, have their managers or enforcers or partners or specific weapons to discreetly cheat with all the time, where at some point some referee or administrator has got to be "smart" enough to preempt the instrument of shady measure from some match before it can go in said match behind their backs. Match rules never say anything about outside persons and foreign objects being banned specifically from sight unless GMs or referees say that it be so. Now, there's no requirement for them to do it, but in cases where, Chris, for example, you and Alex Shelley, or Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder, constantly cheated in each other's singles matches or in those of somebody like Edge, for example, to help them win, it just looks stupid unless somebody at some point shows the discretion to say that it be so, to bar you from the area. With the exception that there is no script to forum maintenance as there is to professional wrestling matches, that is exactly what has happened here. SteelDragon has whored out Oh You Didn't Know so many times that the Unprettier Kickass Coalition would be a league of extraordinary idiots not to eventually show some discretion and start blocking out all of his blatant self-superiority advertising methods.”

Curt Hawkins: “From the way you're talking about this, he used to be a cool poster, and it actually sounds like you guys were ready to move on and life apart with no problems when he left. But at some point things seriously went wrong. What exactly completely killed everything?”

Pac-Man: “Finally, a WWE guy asks a question. Curt Hawkins, everybody. And you're right. The SteelDragon used to be a very cool poster here at the Unprettier, and in spite of the fact that his decision to leave was purely driven by his frustration over being temporarily suspended, we respected that decision because of his history here. We also respected his decision in particular because at the time he'd made it clear that there were gonna be no hard feelings between himself and the Unprettier, and there would not be any attempt through Oh You Didn't Know to incite any forum wars with us. But ever since then, between letting idiotic excuses for incendiary comments from Greg "Doc_Pothead" Thomas and the like fly at Oh You Didn't Know and turning the name or initials of his forum, or even the vague implication of " 'other' boards" into a cheap plug line every single post here, as if still trying to symbolically bury this place underneath OYDK like Matt Hardy buried Lita under his own vindictive wrath, nothing Ryan Blade has done either here or there since has enforced his first decree that there would be no war, and way over half of everything he's done has broken the spirit of his words. I don't even need to add that he said himself that he would never post here again, which we considered unfortunate at the time, yet obviously he's not only broken his words, he's made us wish he hadn't. And you're absolutely right to mention his history, Curt, because considering the good poster that he was here in the past, that is nothing short of pitiful, an absolute joke, and a doggone shame.”

Maria Kanellis: “Pac, you said something about comments by people at Oh You Didn't Know trying to spark forum wars. How is it that you knew about it? Did you ever check it out over there? You know, just so you could see and have some sort of an idea what's going on?”

Pac-Man: “Yes, actually, Maria. A couple days ago, in fact, I actually checked out Oh You Didn't Know and looked it over for a second. I was not only left unimpressed, I was convinced that trusting SteelDragon's word any further had now officially started to become a mistake. What I saw in the Oh You Didn't Know posters was the lower half of them who love either making or agreeing with completely ill-advised, thoughtless, and stupid "declarations of wanting to go to war" against the Unprettier, and the upper half, being staff and the like, including SteelDragon himself, who say "we don't like forum wars, but we are not accountable for what our members do on other forums." That, quite frankly, is nothing more than playing the dirty politician, promising peace yet sliding under the door a clear loophole for war.”

Jillian Hall: “Listen. As a huge celebrity and a major singing star, I find myself in a really weird position having to be the one to interview you right now, but let's face it. It's obvious to me that when you're talking about activities going on at Oh You Didn't Know and saying it has anything to do with the Unprettier, you're obviously overshooting your bounds. The OYDK staff is not responsible for what their posters post in forums outside their own, SteelDragon is absolutely right to say that!”

Pac-Man: “Not to shoot you down, Jillian, but seriously? You're a huge celebrity and a major singing star?”

Jillian Hall: “Yes! I am! Haven't you heard my name mentioned all over MTV for years?”

Pac-Man: “No.” *Everyone in the area snickers, including Admin and WebmasterFF.* “Seriously, though. SteelDragon and Wolf are not accountable for what their boards' members do on other forums? I've said this already, but if theirs really was the good forum that he kept on advertising that it is, then they would have a provision that says the buck stops when what their members do on other forums includes inciting any sort of conflict between members of their forum and members of another forum that's at least probable to spill over into both. That, in fact, is specifically mentioned in Convention 1 of the Pac Tomko Conventions. Yet based on the fact that he's more concerned about whoring out his place and trying to degrade ours in every single post he makes here than he is about even trying to contain the incitement to war that his thugs are attempting to perform within his own board, I think it's safe to say that he's proven that he can't even be trusted to hold himself to any sort of standard that even mimics avoiding a forum war.

“In addition to the Unprettier, I am also a long standing member at a place called Tenchiboard, a discussion forum centered around the anime Tenchi Muyo. I've also recently joined the Charmed message board Charmed Destinys. In addition to those, there's another wrestling forum I've checked out, the Wrestling Revealed forum, though I haven't joined. The difference between my posting or scoping out in any of these places and what SteelDragon is allowing to be espoused at his forum, is that I make no posts, here or anywhere, trying to bring the Unprettier to war with any other forum. His thugs, on the other hand, seek to bring their forum into direct cross-forum warfare with the Unprettier. Yet, as if making a lame duck attempt at passing off what they wanna do as being anything as transparently innocent as what I've been doing, he backhanddely espouses their incendiary actions by "virtue" of his loophole-littered no-like statements of "not endorsing it" but not being accountable for it if it reaches outside their forum. Which is the exact point and main strategy of forum warfare, to reach out and negatively affect another forum as a band of thugs. Compound to all of this the specific example of allowing a full-scale unkempt parody of Joseph Richard Seals to exist as a standing and posting account on his forum, and "SteelDragon" Ryan Blade's original word that there would be nothing tried in the vein of forum wars, please excuse my French, no longer even amounts to jack shit.”

Angelina Love: “Okay, Pac-Man. I've done enough listening to this press conference to have an idea that you guys seem to know some of what you're doing, so I'm convinced now that you are not one of those disgusting marks that keep trying to touch me and Velvet Sky everywhere we go and only hate us because they always fail. But why is it that I sort of get the feeling coming from you talking about this that the Unprettier is the only wrestling forum anyone could ever get to through the World Wide Web?”

Pac-Man: “Angelina, can I just tell you something right now?”

Angelina Love: “What?”

Pac-Man: “No. The Unprettier is not the only wrestling forum in the entire internet. Hell, it's not even the only good wrestling forum in the world. But what the Unprettier is is a place that thrives on discourse yet sees no need for divisive conflict, and damn-near-unilaterally agrees that actions that are so blatantly disrespectful that they serve no purpose other to try to incite a forum war are 100% completely stupid, frivolous, and pointless. Ryan Blade and his constant blatant plugging in a pathetic attempt to both bury the Unprettier and put himself over in the middle of our own grounds, and the ruffians he has running around crying war in the middle of his own grounds at Oh You Didn't Know, do not make Oh You Didn't Know look any more attractive than it would if he could find a more civil, sensible means to advertise that didn't have anything to do with trying to beat us. As a matter of fact, I can tell for a fact that there are multiple good posters who have tried to move over to OYDK or to post cordially in both places like decent human beings, only to find themselves repelled by quite a few of his own people he's allowed to run rampant there acting like wannabe thugs. One, in particular, of those good posters he could've had around instead of the group I essentially dub the Doc Mafia is actually an independent wrestler in training as we speak. Steven Nyte, I believe. As matter of fact, if SteelDragon wasn't so busy trying to crown his place king over ours, he and Nyte could be having lots of conversations about European history, either over there or over here, it wouldn't matter. But he's decided to take a different course, a course that quite frankly can be destructive to forums if left unchecked.”

Zack Ryder: “First of all, Pac-Man, I just wanna say… that the Unprettier rocks, man! You know it! Woo woo woo!”

Pac-Man: “Agreed, Zack. I like to think we're pretty cool. Matter of fact, I think you and I adopted the same habit from Edge. You know, with the whole shades thing?”

Zack Ryder: “Oh yeah, you got it! Edge and Christian totally rule.”

Pac-Man: “Funny tidbit here.” (points to Admin and Webby behind him with his thumbs)
If these two are Edge and Christian, then I'm Tomko and damn proud of it.” *Some of the others laugh, including Zack.*

Zack Ryder (after he's done laughing): “Alright. Now, I just gotta know. Where do you think Oh You Didn't Know stands in comparison to the Unprettier?”

Pac-Man: “You know, Ryder, that's a really good question. I think there's an analogy to be had here. If the Unprettier is WWE, then Oh You Didn't Know is TNA. We are big and established. They are small and, as far as they're concerned, making their way up. With group dynamics like that, the smaller promotion has two choices that it can take here. They can blaze their own trail, completely separate from what's going on in the big pond, without taking a second to even worry about us, and see their ventures start to thrive. Or the small can do everything in their power to try and thump their chest out, repeatedly seek to think that they can put us into the ground and say they can do what we do better than us in the hopes of trying to incite a rash response that'll get everybody looking in… in their direction, that'll get everybody lookin' at them, and find themselves overrun by a self-entitlement supremacy club much like what the TNA guys and gals among you here might know about through seeing the Main Event Mafia, except in the case of Oh You Didn't Know, there wouldn't be any doubt that it's not merely a storyline.”

John Morrison: “Hi. I'm John Morrison, and I decided that this was a cool enough occasion that I could just step out and play reporter here straight from the Palace of Wisdom.”

Pac-Man: “Glad you think so, John. Even more glad that you, along with your partner Miz to some degree, have evolved into one of the biggest and most talented superstars in all of WWE.”

John Morrison: “Thanks and no doubt. Now, since I like quotes, and solid messages usually provide good quotes, do you have any sort of final message towards Ryan Blade, by any chance?”

Pac-Man: “Yes, as a matter of fact. Now, I know he's been released and banished, so he probably can't see this, but I hope on some level he can feel me saying this, or at least that someday, some way, he will get wind of this eventually.

“SteelDragon, the decision was yours. The whole time this was going on, you could've gone about it however you wanted to. Done whatever it is you felt that you had to do. Suggestions would've included courses of actions such as moving on quietly and keeping your word to not allow a forum war whatsoever or settling things peacefully with Joe Richard Seals and coming back here to the Unprettier family. But since what you wanted to keep doing, what you incessantly felt compelled to do, was to try to incite us here at the Unprettier, it was only right and just that you found that red button get pressed on you in a timely manner, and not just for a couple of days this time. This time, it's the end of it. You're done here. P
ERIOD. You now find yourself with no more opportunities to post here, your name will at least spend years being tied to the future endeavors list, and whatever foothold you thought you may have had to even entertain the notion to open any floodgates to start a war with us, have been taken straight away. Not to mention you are now forced to hold your own broken word. Both that you'll never post here again, as you literally are now blocked from doing so, and that, especially seeing as how allowing one would not benefit or extend your reach in any way no matter the conclusion, THERE WILL NOT BE A FORUM WAR.

“This is all because of what you decided, though, Ryan. You could've actually honored your word and refused to allow anything to happen any further that would compromise your integrity and move the course of things toward the cause of a forum war. Instead you chose to continue to subtly make it clear that you would like for your thugs to do war with the Unprettier and make yourself look like a complete bitter charlatan to the point where this termination, this firing, this releasing, this blockade, this permanent ban, that we've imposed on you, is now necessary. But one way or the other, whether you like it or not, there will not be a forum war. S
TONE COLD, SIMPLE AS THAT. And that ain't no fluke. Hell, it's not even destiny. This is simply put, HOW… THE UNPRETTIER… ROLLS. And we will continue to roll. We will continue to be strong, and we will continue to stand against efforts of war.”

Alex Shelley: “I got one last question bugging my mind, Kwame Kilpatrick, so don't think you can leave yet. From what I've heard, it seems that somewhere during this timeline Boogs Waldie has actually gone over to Oh You Didn't Know and seriously offended quite a few people there by trying to influence Eric Mulder's loyalty to be strictly here to the Unprettier. What kind of an anti-war stance are you running here when you can't even keep your own guys from stupidly inciting another forum against you?”

Pac-Man: “Well, if I'm right about this, Alex, I think I know what you're talking about with the Boogs situation, and I can tell you with confidence that Boogs has already been reprimanded. He has been told since then that we are not to be involved in that and that we're above getting dragged into cross-forum warfare, and thus has the issue has been dropped to the point where had you not mentioned it, we probably wouldn't even remember it. Soon, though, in order to ensure that this is understood by everyone, the Pac Tomko Conventions, obvious guidelines which the Unprettier believes in, and believes that all forums should already believe in and live by unspokenly in addition to their own specific spoken rules, and guidelines which from the date they are given forth will be absolutely applied within the Unprettier and are expected to be followed as well by any forum the Unprettier shall have frequent dealings with in the future, will be revealed and given forth in full detail. Speaking of detail, before I unveil the Pac Tomko Conventions, I wish to discuss the matter of their details with Admin and Webby, who are obviously still standing behid me, so that these guidelines may be completely understood and finalized before their revelation.

“The webmaster of a forum split off from our own, a former member and friend of the Unprettier family, has proven to be interested in waging war with the Unprettier. These are somewhat trying times, ladies and gentlemen. And while it is easy to make the decision to go over there and crush them, we must not follow their example. We must shatter it, and subsequently shatter them, under the weight of their own hatred, by forcing this to continue as nothing more than a one-sided diatribe completely coming from their end of things until finally they get tired and are crushed into submission by themselves and have no choice but to stop. We absolutely cannot afford to play into the war games of the people who seek to defeat us.

“To people like Doc_Pothead, to people like SteelDragon, and to people like NW-Punk, I say this: listen to me very carefully and closely. We will not become you. And it is because we will not become you, that we will defeat you. War will not be had outside of your own minds, and you will be crushed under the weight of your own hatred, because we will not be there to join you in being like John McCain with the smear campaigns and the saber-rattling and the fight-fight-fight attitude. We will conduct ourselves as Captain Charisma's Wrestling Forum. We are the Unprettier. We are a forum that Christian Cage and his Coalition of A.J. Styles and Tomko would be proud to have their names associated with. We are not on an egotistical quest to get ourselves called the greatest discussion forum in the history of the world, and we are not here to crush others. We are here simply to be a family of wrestling fans and posters, and to allow those who would attempt to take that away to crush themselves. To quote the Instant Classic himself, and the late Notorious B.I.G., "And if you don't know… now you know."

“Thank you, ladies and gentlemen. It's been a pleasure to speak on the behalf of the Unprettier. And now, we must move on through these days, evoke the spirit of better days, bring about even more and increasingly better days, and show anyone and everyone that decides to come here who we really are! Thank you! God bless the Unprettier!”

*All the reporters drop their microphones and commence to clapping in support as the Unprettier Kickass Coalition members wave their hands to the world and leave the podium.*
