I can call JBL many things a cheater or a controversal champion he cheated his way to stay as the WWE Champion at the most of 2004-2005 people lost interest in his big title reign because they wanted John Cena to end it and therefore I don't blame them.

Even I was bored but he did step up pretty good though he has his ring smarts but he only won by DQ's which he had so much heel heat.

"Aww Boogs it has been so long without you.

How are you doing my love.

You have got to know I love you.

You were so supportive of me and stood right there with me.

As a military wife, when I found out JBL was behind Christmas in Iraq, the man had my vote.

You have to like JBL!

he was good in the ring, he was a great heel, and he does a great job of making michael cole look bad.

Jim Ross Website:The APA was an entertaining duo to say the least. I too wish they had the opportunity for another "run," but that is not likely to happen it would seem at this time. Their backstage material was often times more entertaining than their matches, which more often than not, resembled a bar fight.
well i liked the apa alot, jbl and ron simmons were pretty great, and if it was to happen i think it should be soon, cause they can do what the steiners are doing for tna. i also really liked bradsaw back then and always hoped he got pushed to the top tier, and when it happened i didnt get to see most of it lol.
Qouth the draven, nevermore.

From Jim Ross Website...............

Quote Hey JR I was just wondering on your thoughts of JBL having another title run? thank you

Very viable consideration. JBL is one of the elite personalities in the business and can verbalize with the best around without question. The issue might be his physical status especially his chronic back issues. JBL as WWE Champion down the road would not shock me.

* Have to disagree with JR on this one. JBL as a brand carrier is not something I can see happening again.

* With all his business commitments and also his physical condition, it all adds against him having another run.

* It would probably be a shame the Wrestling God ending as a one time champion, but some people don't even get that.

* Creative don't even make him look like he's any chance of becoming the champion.

What he posted before he quit.......

Quote John Bradshaw Layfield has updated his WWE Universe blog, which you can read here in its entirety. Some highlights:

Andrew "Test" Martin: "Very saddened to hear about Andrew Martin's death. Andrew was a good friend and I hate to see someone so young with so much promise not get to live a full life."

His WrestleMania Surprise: "I know you are getting sick of me saying it, but I still plan on doing something historic at Wrestlemania. I can't let the 25th anniversary of Mania go by without JBL doing something big. I do plan on doing something big in my great home state of Texas."

Ohio Valley Wrestling: "I want to reiterate that I don't own OVW, I am an advertiser there in the same way I advertise with Fox 17 in Nashville and 97.5 the Rock in St Louis. We have good distribution in these areas so it makes sense to advertise where we have products on shelves. The hardest thing in retail is not to get on shelves but to get them off the shelves by customers buying the product."

* It would have been even more of a shame if Andrew Martin had died during a period of this 'promise' JBL speaks of.

* JBL should be ashamed for talking about his Wrestlemania surprise now he knows he jobbed so quickly.

* I take it some people think he's bought OVW just because of this 2K advertising deal. They should listen more carefully to what's told.

All I have to say about the joke that is Bradshaw is that he had one of the biggest joke title reigns of WWE history. I am shocked and blown away to see such good remarks about Bradshaw. As a wrestling fan, to see Bradshaw, an average tag wrestler, hardcore champion, and good talker, go from all that to the longest reigning World champ in Smackdown history make me sick. Bradshaw to destroy guys like Eddie, Taker, ect and the to job out at Mania was just the punch line at the end of a 9month long joke. Bradshaw is garbage and ruined the prestige of the WWE title. BIG FAT JOKE.

A blog he did before leaving WWE........

John Bradshaw Layfield has updated his WWE Universe Blog with his thoughts on WWE's Wellness Policy, the latest steroid controversy in pro baseball and more.

JBL says he's "thrilled" that WWE has a strict drug policy and he's 100% against steroids. "I am thrilled that WWE is a leader in testing. I don't say that because I work for them, I say that because I am thrilled that the temptation to take drugs to look better or perform better was taken away by WWE's strict drug policy."

He says that as he was training to get back into wrestling shape and nearly lost 100 pounds, he had no temptation to use performance enhance drugs "I am very glad that when I was trying to get back into shape to make a return to the ring that drugs was not an option, because if it had been an option I would have been tempted to go to a doctor (which you can do easily at my age) and get a prescription for testosterone or other drug and take a short cut," JBL said. "Because, getting into shape after getting so out of shape was tough, and still is. Taking the option of drugs out of the equation was a great thing the WWE did."

JBL believes WWE has created a healthy environment for wrestlers to help remove the temptation of using banned substances. "I have been tested for drugs, AIDS, high cholesterol, concussions; you name it in the past six months alone," JBL said. "WWE has made sure it has created an environment that is healthy, just as the NFL has done and baseball started doing a few years ago."

* It seemed strange him blogging about the Wellness that time. I could understand it more if he did when it first came in.

* It's probably in response to those congress chats with Vince and Stephanie around the same time.

* It's good he's stayed off drugs as well. People can take piss out of his body all they want, but at least it's natural.
