This death would be the biggest kick in the balls to the wrestling industry since the deaths of Owen Hart and Eddie Guerrero and I imagine that every wrestling show in the world would have some sort of tribute show for him whether he wrestled there or even have appeared or not, from the lowest little in a shed type indy show to the top of the food chain

But taking his lifestyle into consideration, it is kind of hard to be surprised this is happening and his health is finally catching up to him. Guy has lead a hard life and it really doesn't appear he ever slowed down with the booze. Him and Jake are miracles they have lasted this long.

Meltzer is reporting he is out of surgery but is still in a very serious condition....maybe Naitch will get out of this one too.

It's serious but he's a fighter who's survived lightning and a plane crash in the past, so this should be a piece of piss.

With his lifestyle choices for many decades it's amazing he's last this long and i'm sure he's got plenty more years left in him yet.

You know it's a worrying time though when E acknowledge the seriousness of it all on their own website.

So it was supposedly colon surgery not heart surgery. Not sure what to believe anymore as surely they'd tell people sooner what is going on when they know the following Naitch has?

Either way he's not out of the woods yet.

Yeah I'm seeing that it was colon surgery too, apparently done as treatment for diverticulitis.

Same shit Lesnar had.

So the latest news is that Ric Flair is now suffering multiple organ failure and still in critical condition. TBH it sounds worse now than before.

Quote Here are some details on WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair’s booking fees for appearances and autograph signings.

For autograph signings, Flair charges $15,000 for two-hours. For an event that goes three-hours long, he charges $20,000.

Ric Flair is currently taking some limited bookings and autograph signing appearances. Flair recently had some medical issues and had to be hospitalized, but when he was released he went right back to promoting his new book that he co-wrote with his daughter Ashley (Charlotte in WWE). ESPN also released a “30 For 30” special on Flair earlier this month.

l love Naitch and he's an all time great, but that's a rip off for someone who's done nothing of note for over a decade and was in his prime nearer thirty years ago.

Those look the type of prices someone gives that doesn't need the money and can't really be arsed meeting his fanbase unless it's really worth it to him.

It's no wonder tickets to meet him are so expensive, when it costs the promoter so much from the start.

you've gotta say, he justifies those prices.

I don't think Hogan could command that price now, and Flair has managed to not only retain his fandom, but gain newer, younger fans, either through them being shown by parents or seeking it out themselves because of Charlotte.

it might also be a comfort thing now. there were times it was touch and go for him, 15-20k would allow him to travel in comfort and at leisure, no rushing, and allow him rest up time, because regardless of what is said here, you know for damn sure after he was done promoting the book for a day, he was on his ass recovering.
