Its the one match as well that is going to be unpredictable because there can be logic applied to everyone winning the match and leaving with the title, however if the rumor for Rollins going to SD is true then i guess that rules him out unless he takes the title with him - which is perfectly reasonable

Really looking forward to this one

What match might steal the show at WrestleMania could really be a whole topic in itself (for me it might be Asuka vs Charlotte); but I agree this three way for the Intercontinental title certainly has the potential to steal the show based upon the amazing athleticism of Rollins and  Balor alone. Rollin's battle with Hunter Hearst Helmsley was one of my favorites last year, even with Rollins not being 100%.

I'm in agreement with this, for the reasons you and Rico laid out. To see Miz miss the record by a hair and then lose his lid in the type of amazingly entertaining promo he is capable of doing would be more satisfying than actually seeing him break the record.

As for who might move to Raw with the U.S. Title, yes the obvious favorite is Orton; but as I am one of the few on here who doesn't totally hate Jinder Mahal I wouldn't mind him walking out of WrestleMania with the U.S. belt and actually do think he might be a good fit for Raw. However, while I loved Bobby Roode with the U.S. belt; he is a good fit for Smackdown as his wrestling matches the Smackdown style. And yes there is a Smackdown style.

That's all assuming the belts switch shows though.

I would be happy with either Balor or Rollins winning the Intercontinental belt at WrestleMania. Balor and Rollins have gone at it hard against each other for the past couple of weeks just vying for a spot.

Quote Finn Balor vs. Seth Rollins: IC Champion The Miz comes out to the broadcast table to do commentary. The opening bell sounds and Rollins and Balor start trading arm holds. Rollins fires up and shoulder blocks Balor down. Balor hits an arm drag takedown and they stare each other down. They go back at it and Rollins throws Balor outside. They fight around ringside and brawl back into the ring.
Balor fights up and starts laying into Rollins with chops. They fight to the corner, and Balor grabs Rollins and hits an inverted DDT for a two count. Rollins fires up and throws Balor back out to ringside, then hits a suicide dive on Balor up against the fan barricade. Back in the ring, Rollins hits a superkck and drops Balor. They fight up to the corner and Rollins hits a superplex. Rollins goes to roll through, but Balor catches him in a small package pin for a two count. Rollins drops Balor again, then goes up top for a frogsplash, but Balor blocks it with his knees. They fight out to ringside again and Rollins looks for a powerbomb on the fan barricade, but Balor escapes and hits the Sling Blade. Balor dropkicks Rollins into the fan barricade. Back in the ring, Rollins starts fighting back and hits the Curb Stomp for the three count.

Winner: Seth Rollins

It was a great one on one match and Miz being on commentary talking about becoming a dad was the icing on the cake.

I didn't expect him on the show. A few minutes before commentary was talking like he wasn't there, which would have been understandable if they had let him have a few extra days with his new born before the big day.

He's got to be dropping the title so he can have some paternity leave and so the longest ever IC title holder storyline can drag.

It'll be fun to watch him bitch and moan about losing the title so close to becoming the longest reigning IC champion of all time.

Dont think we will get that much Miz time after Mania to really enjoy what he would actually make of this angle of losing the title - given his paternity leave.

In all honesty though i would like to see him break the record and then vacate the title so he can do his paternity stuff.

Gives him something instantly to brag or complain about when he returns before hopefully being pushed into the main title picture where he deserves to be

I'd rather see him throw a temper tantrum on Raw after Mania, cross some kind of line, and then have the Raw GM (Hulkster) suspend him, and use that as the way to write him off TV.

But to each, his own.

Quote Intercontinental Title Match: Seth Rollins vs. The Miz vs. Finn Balor: Rollins makes his entrance wearing blue contact lenses. The opening bell sounds and Finn Balor starts off strong. Balor knocks them both outside and hits a suicide dive on both Miz and Rollins. Back in the ring, Balor continues the offense until Miz drops him and hits a clothesline in the corner. Miz takes control of the match now and sends Rollins out to ringside while he tries to keep Balor grounded. Miz goes up to the middle rope but Balor kicks him down. Balor goes for the sling blade on Rollins, but Rollins catches him and throws him outside. Rollins hits a suicide dive on Balor, then runs throug the ring to hit a dive on Miz on the other side. Rollins gets back in the ring and walks into a sling blade from Balor. Balor looks for a kick, but Rollins dodges it and hits a kick of his own on Balor. Miz runs in now and hits a DDT on Rollins. Miz boots Rollins outside, then drops Balor across the top rope. Miz puts Balor in the Figure Four, but Balor breaks out and Rollins hits a frogsplash off the top on Miz. The fight spills out to ringside, and Rollins looks for a powerbomb on Balor, but Balor breaks free and hits a sling blade. Balor follows up with a running dropkick on both Miz and Rollins into the fan barricade. Back in the ring, the three men fight on the turnbuckle, which leads to Rollins hitting the buckle bob on Miz, and then a superplex on Balor. Rollins rolls through to look for a Falcon Arrow, but Balor escapes. Miz hits the Skull Crushing Finale on Rollins for a two count. Balor and Miz go at it now and fight on the turnbuckle. The Miz has a big welt on his ribs. Rollins kicks Balor and climbs up, but then Miz hits a top rope bulldog on Rollins. Balor then drops Miz from behind and hits the Coup De Grace on Miz. Balor looks for the pin, but Rollins curb stomps him, and then curb stomps Miz for the three count.

Winner & new IC Champion: Seth Rollins

It's a shame after all Miz has done for the title, he was jobbing in the curtain jerker of a five hours show.

Decent match and it got the crowd excited. But I expected even more from the three of them and I suspect much of the crowd excitement will have been down to the main show finally starting.

Good to see the Curb Stomp. It should be one of those moves we rarely see, so it's special when we do.

Good choice as the curtain jerker as it was a very good fast paced match to get the crowd pumped. I would say it gets second best match of the night from me after the Rousey match.

Nice touch for The Miz to go it alone to prove hes a fighting champion. Rollins is a worthy champion and I'm sure Miz will still be chasing the title moving forward.
