I doubt there will be many fans complaining at this match being made for Wrestlemania.

Three top guys in their prime, who I hope get given close to half an hour to put on the classic we all know they can.

I would even make it a ladder match to add to the occasion, unless they have another triple threat on a PPV after the big show.

This for me is going down as Match of The Night already

Its the one match as well that is going to be unpredictable because there can be logic applied to everyone winning the match and leaving with the title, however if the rumor for Rollins going to SD is true then i guess that rules him out unless he takes the title with him - which is perfectly reasonable

Really looking forward to this one

I think Elias and Braun Strowman may be added to make it a five-way, surely there is no way Braun will be left off the Wrestlemania card?

I agree that could happen.

Meltzer and a few other outlets reported a while back that the plan was for Strowman to fight for the IC title at mania. I’m sure they stated he was pencilled in to win too but then again plans can change

I DO hope this remains a triple threat. As a triple threat the feud is fine. You start throwing more in and it just gets watered down and boring, IMO.

Besides, Braun is one upping the members of team hell no, and he'll be able to definitively say: "I'm the tag team champions!"

Hopefully not. I wouldn't spoil what should be a classic, by adding too many to the match.

Quote The Miz comes down to the ring next for Miz TV. He informs us that Dallas and Axel aren't here because they're preparing for their match later. He then introduces his guests Seth Rollins and Finn Balor, who each make their entrances next. They all sit down, and Miz starts antagonizing Rollins and Balor. The Miz tries to turn Balor and Rollins against each other and get them fighting, but Balor and Rollins don't bite. Balor and Rollins do finally get up and get in each other's faces, but then they turn their attention to The Miz. Balor and Rollins take turns delivering right hands to The Miz, then Balor clotheslines Miz to the outside. Balor yells at Miz, then turns around into a cheap shot from Rollins. Rollins walks off with Balor and Miz both laid out. Finn Balor vs. Seth Rollins: The Miz is shown watching on a monitor backstage as Rollins and Balor lock up in the opening moments. They trade holds on the mat until Balor drops Rollins with a right hand. Rollins dodges a shot and fires back with an elbow to the face. Rollins follows up with chops and a kick. Rollins stomps Balor down and then beats on him in the corner. More chops from Rollins. Balor hits a dropkick, then he kicks Rollins out of the ring to the floor. Balor kicks Rollins from the apron, and Rollins is now selling a shoulder injury. Back in the ring, Rollins fights back and drops Balor with a headbutt. Rollins follows up with a running knee to the face on the apron for a two count. Balor comes back with some chops, and looks for a reverse DDT but Rollins escapes. Balor and Rollins trade strikes to the face in the middle of the ring. Balor hits a Pele kick, then Rollins hits a spinning heel kick, and both men are down. Rollins with another kick and he looks for the curb stomp, but Balor escapes. Balor drops Rollins and stomps on him, then hits the sling blade. Balor charges and Rollins stops him with a boot to the face for a two count. Rollins misses a shot in the corner and Balor drops him. Balor goes up top, but Rollins runs up and looks for a superplex. Balor knocks him down, but Rollins comes right back up. Rollins hits the superplex, but when he goes to roll through for a Falcon Arrow, Balor hooks his leg for an inside cradle. Balor gets the three count, and Rollins can't believe it.

Winner: Finn Balor

- Rollins is not happy, and he storms off after the match before Balor leaves.

Well I guess this throwaway win is Balor finally getting revenge for what happened a couple of years ago.

Very entertaining contest, and helped by Seth being so pissed off in defeat, showing what the loss meant to him.

I'd love to have either Rollins or Balor win it and then trade with Orton so that the titles switch again. Imagine The Miz having to wait a whole year, bare minimum, to get at the title he so loves and that he was so close to holding for longer than anyone else.

LOL I was JUST saying the same thing. I hope Miz loses so bad so that he has to chase not only tying Jericho's number of IC championship runs but also the record for the cumulative days holding the title. He's such a fantastic heel that seeing him miss out on his opportunity would go over so well. People would love to see him get trolled like that, and yet at the same time it gives everyone something to look forward to on his behalf because even if they 'hate' him they still love him too and want to see him break that streak.

I hadn't considered the trade with Orton to Smackdown scenario though, that's even better, because then we get the 1-2 punch of first seeing Miz react on Raw that he was screwed and it's not fair that he doesn't get to break the record, but then he can go on and on about how he will get it back ASAP and break the record and establish himself as the greatest IC champion of all time... and then the title leaves his brand. lol That's just wrong. The shit fit he would have if that happened to him would be priceless.

The plan is for Rollins to move to SD so it is possible - theres also a plan for Orton to move to SD

I've seen this image showing an apparent leak of the drafts online in a few different places now and they all logically make sense so are difficult to argue with

I'm yet to hear a source on this 'leak' which is why I don't trust it. Last year a lot of the trades made were only known about in the days immediately preceeding the shake up broadcasts. Owens didn't know he was on Smackdown until literally the day of the Smackdown that he opened.

Lynch for Banks makes no sense in my opinion and moving Styles would be an absolute disaster for Smackdown as a whole. I love Seth Rollins but so much of the audience watch Smackdown for AJ Styles. Just get them on the same damned roster.

Usos yes. Sheamus and Cesaro I don't see. I think they can afford to skim some off the top of the SD tag division to be perfectly honest.

The Miz with no IC title to compete for will make the IC title the most relevant title on God's green and he won't even be on the same brand as it. We'd have a depressed Miz, which would fit magnificently with time off to look after a kid and film a reality show.

I just know that this is a storyline that's never really been done, and WWE have the perfect guy to do it.

Angle: "Tonight, in that very ring, you have a chance to become number one contender to the Universal Championship."
Miz: "But what about my title?"
