No argument there, I haven't watched it in months. Just using that section as a example. The TNA section and even NXT are way more active than Smackdown on here.

I made an attempt to watch it when three quarters of the show was Team Hell No, and we got a bit of discussion from that, but other than that, Smackdown looks rubbish every week.

It would be good to get a few more members in, but at the same time I like the fact that this place isn't that big. At the bigger places, you kind of get drowned out, and there's too many posts to read (and a lot of them are from idiots). Here, everybody knows who you are, almost everybody is a good poster, and we can have entertaining back and forths that would be difficult at a bigger place.

True that. I've posted at larger forums and you soon get frustrated with the shear volume of posts, you post once, come back a couple of hours later to find thirty new posts following it just in that one thread.

Activity here has lows and highs but as Raven said I prefer it this way so at least each member is more significant rather than being flooded out by crazy amounts of posting.

I think quality over quantity is a big thing here.

All the regular posters here are good posters who don't argue for the sake of arguing which can happen on forums with a larger amount of posters.

At least here on most occasions, your opinions get discussed (unless your an idiot).

Last year around Wrestlemania TUP was very active and when wrestling heats up again hopefully around Survivor Series it will again.

We were definitely dead before MM and PS came on board, but it's picked up now. Yesterday we had the biggest day we've had since at least Wrestlemania season.

Difference of opinion I guess cause I never thought TUP was overtly quiet recently

We need to start promoting this forum, to get it noticed. TO DO SOMETHING!

Beside all of that, I f*cking love this place! Clap

I am very glad you like it here and I commend you to for wanting to bring in more people. As Raven has said, activity has picked up a lot since you arrived, and also since MegaMan returned. So I thank you both for that. But yes, I would have to say the place had dwindled in activity before that. But if you really look at it there are actually a lot of us here that post now and then.

People like Thundarr and Fletch may explain it by the quality of wrestling; but for many others including myself it can be explained by just "life." Most of us work, go to school, both; some of us have kids, personal issues, etc.. People may not just have the time.

Raven is right that other sites have so much activity that your post easily gets swarmed and it doesn't really allow for the "small community" type of atmosphere we have here. But still, bringing in more people is always a good idea.

The thing is, no one wants to talk about something that's boring them or isn't capturing their interest. Wrestling itself hasn't lost my attention, but I'm not gonna force myself to think of something to say about a feud that isn't interesting me at all. Woah, Cena's back in the title picture after almost a year...Cool, nothing to say there...Wait till things get interesting again.
