Boy it wasnt a long time ago that both Serena & Venus were on top of the world, then boom they are now struggling to get back up to the top. Both women were 2 off the best and still are, but with injuries happenen all the time, it seems the 2 sisters are now in peril.

Serena Williams is now ranked 81 in the world (she finished 96th at the end of 2006), needs to find her old touch that brought her 7 grand slam titles during 1999 and 2005, the old Serena has pretty much fallen through rough times, on and off the court and whether she can bounce back is a question to be seen. She won 4 grand slams on a trot from the French Open of 2002 to the Aus Open of 2003, yet fast forward 4 years shes now struggling to find form and get back up into the top 10 that she had held at the end of the year from 1999 to 2004.

Venus Williams is the same, she is struggling and has fallen to 47th in the world, she needs to also find her form that took her to 5 grand slam titles, she hasnt had much success as Serena but the duo were once noted as the best 2 players in the World.

Who cannot forget the epic series that these 2 had, where it was basically always Serena & Venus battling it out in a grand slam final? Both women went to 8 finals against one anuffa, with Serena winning 5 in a row from French Open 2002 to Wimbledon 2003. In all they have played each other 15 times, Serena winning 8 against her older sister.

Question is, can these 2 sisters bounce back to the top? Or are they going to keep on falling?

Aye the most famous jehovah's witness sisters in sport have fallen on really hard times. I have never been a fan of either, but appreciate that they are good for the game. I like Richard Williams best as he is a dude who speaks his mind. I don't see either of them ever getting back to the top of there game. Neither are fully committed to tennis, no matter how much they deny this. Both are into fashion designing and want to do movies. Injuries have taken a serious toll on them. They have millions so have no reason to carry on risking there health.

Serena Williams has made the Quaters of the Aussie Open so it looks like shes making a huge comeback after being injured all off 2006. Venus its a shame shes still recovering from a wrist injury. In and off the court these 2 sisters were a force to be reckoned with in tennis until both fell down with injuries.

As from the French Open 2002 to Australian Open 2003, these two were in the finals non-stop during that time in the Grand Slams.

The Williams sisters also won 6 Grand Slam doubles titles (in total they've won 10 doubles titles including a Gold Medal at Athens in 2004). So these 2 are a dominant force when they are fit and healthy.
