Well my beloved Barnsley are around a best priced 4/1 to win at Millwall tomorrow night despite....

1) Only drawing to second in the league Swansea City 1-1 last saturday due to conceeding a clumsy late penalty.

2) Going above Doncaster "Pikeys" Rovers the other night beating them comfortably 2-0 away from home.

3) Danny Haynes scoring both the other night in only his second game for us.

Also our last four matches of West Ham, Hull, Swansea, and Pikeys have had no more than two goals in them. Infact all four matches had two goals in them, so around EVENS for no more than two goals in the match tomorrow night is good odds too.

Us to win at 4/1 and less than 3 goals in the match at EVENS works out at a 9/1 double. Can't knock nine quid pure profit from a one pound stake.

I'll go for a Forest/Cardiff final with Forest winning.

Also lol @ Sheffield United getting relegated. Horrid scummy club with hideous owners. Can't stand them after the whole 'Tevez affair'. Like they even deserved to be in the Prem anyway, they are fucking wank.

I don't like the dirty scabs and the idea of some sheep shaggers in the ENGLISH premiership pisses me off so the order of preference is........

1) Reading.

2) Scabs.

3) Swansea.

4) Cardiff City.

Awesome yesterday against Millwall. Their defender shouts to his team mate "JOSH....JOSH....FAKIN TORK....FAKIN TORK JOSH" He got ripped rest of the match for his stupid cockney accent.

Ok lets try to give this thread a huge resurrection (ooh matron, he nearly said erection) !!

We/Barnsley have been on a total rollercoaster ride since coming back to this level back in 2006, when Andy Ritchie was our boss and Paul Hecky was still only a player at the time.
Relegation eventually happened and we sacked Danny Wilson when we were struggling in Lg One!!
And then the season of all seasons happened last year (season 2015-16).
We won at Wembley for the first ever time almost a year to the day, and we made the play offs and won at Wembley again in the play off final.
Who knows what lies ahead for us eh, seeing as Hecky is being mentioned as the favourite for the Naarich job, and the fact that our owner Mr Cryne has now been told hes terminally ill.

Right then so far we have signed........

Stevie Malan: Attacking left footed midfielder from St Mirren who takes set pieces and chips in with goals. Sounds like a Conor Hourihane type.

Jason McCarthy: Defender off Southampton who are well known for their excellent academy. Spent the last two seasons on loan at Wycombe Wanderers and Walsall where he got both fans player of the year awards as he moved up a division.

Cameron Mcgeehan: Box to box midfielder from Luton Town. Around a one goal in three player. Had his leg broke in January, punched the floor in agony and so got booked by the ref for disent before he was stretchered off.

Liam Lindsay: Defender from Patrick Thistle. The only guy in the SPL team of the year that didn't play for the top two clubs Celtic or Aberdeen.

Also got left back Ben Williams from Blackburn Rovers but he might be more of a fringe player and developmental guy. Very happy with the background and potential of all we've signed so far. Long term contracts too and not flooded our squad with loanees yet.

Buying players from the lesser leagues on the cheap is the way you've gone again. Do you feel you're still missing a scorer Adders?

Up front we've Tom Bradshaw who did OK last season but needs to push on this and Stefan Payne who we got from non league and got injured a few times but did good on loan at Shrewsbury Town. I would say we need two more attackers.

We don't have Ryan Kent anymore with only Adam Hammill for the wings so we need another couple there.

Defence is looking good until Marc Roberts and Andy Yiadom get sold then we will need a couple more defenders.

Any chance of getting AA back on loan? I think he needs another season at this level....

Whilst we're at it...shall I throw the Newport talk in here too.

Middlesborough at home next weekend. They have sold out 4,700 so should be a good game.

Conor Hourihane with Villa, Josh Scowen with QPR and now Ashley Fletcher with Boro. Three home games in a row where a former player returns to a good round of applause for the success they had with us.

Our game with Leeds United next month is on Sky as they only put on our bastard home games. South Yorkshire Police had already moved it to 12:15 but now it's 12:30 for TV coverage.

The championship seems like more of an even - unpredictable league this season than any other that i can remember.

Teams are attracting players that they never would have before - when you look at wolves and leeds specifically - which is great for the league.

I think there was a new TV deal signed too recently so even more money being pumped into it which can go someway to stopping the bridge to the premier league being even bigger
