From Jim Ross Website...........

Quote Hi JR and greetings from the united kingdom. While HBK was recovering from surgery prior to SS last year i asked you if you thought HBK could have 1 more wwe title run. You said you would be shocked if it didnt happen before he hangs em up? What are your thoughts now? I know shawn doesnt need the belt but i think he deserves one more run before he finishes, which hopefully wont be for a while. Also i think it would be great for one of the younger guys to take the title from him in an epic match and really put them on the map. Secondly, Mr Wrestlemania vs The undefeated streak at WM25, any chance in your opinion of this happening? What are your thoughts about an HBK heel turn? He only did it for a month with hogan but it was great and the promo he did in montreal in the build-up was awesome. I think a HBK heel stable with guys like cody, ted jnr and lance cade could be awesome, especially for the 3 younger guys, your thoughts on this? Finally, in your heart how long do you think Shawn has got left in him? I would hope another couple of years at least but i am going to try to get over for WM25 as the only time i have seen him live was in the london WM rematch with Cena, woah. Thanks Jr and i look forward to your response. Mark, 30, United Kingdom.

If HBK were healthy enough to wrestle more dates then a title run would be seeningly inevitable. I don't know the long term prognosis of Shawn's physical health. Yes, a HBK vs. Undertaker WM25 match would be special.

* Shawn Michaels as had his era at the top of his game. He needs to stay away from the title belt now.

* Him holding the belt would not make any new stars and only make HBK look good (which happens anyway).

* I'd probably even be against him having the title in a retirement style storyline, because I don't think it would work.

* I'd rather see him in fueds now with people who wouldn't suffer with a win or loss against him (like Undertaker).

Quote HI JR, i really respect you for the time you devote to the wwe fans , its really a classy stuff by legend like you..This time i have and interesting and thoughtful question for you..My question is related to HBK , i wanna ask if hbk was ever a draw for the wwe... lets just look back at the history. from 1984-1992 it was all about hulk hogan ,he mainevented in first 7 wrestlemania s out of 8. After hulk hogan era, it was bret hart who took his spot.. His era was from 1992-1997, meanwhile there was a small period when it seemed like that hbk era was starting that was in 1996 when he won his first wwe title and bret hart went into semi retirement, during this time hbk s feuds with sid, vader were worth watching but as soon as bret hart returned the focus shifted right back on him..bret s feud with austin took the centre stage. And hbk time of being in highlight just lasted less than a year.when bret hart left wwe austin era begined while hbk left wwe due to back injury.Austin ruled from 1997-2002, around this time when hbk returned the new hero of wwe was brock lesnar..although hbk had good feud with HHH but the focus was on brock lesnar as he was considered the next big thing for the wwe..when lesnar left , john cena became the attraction point for the wwe and fans which he still is..My question to you jr that in all these years did hbk era ever started... did he had enough to compete with guys like hogan, hart, austin etc..if yes then why was he not in highlight for longer period of time except wrestlemania 12 or 14?

I thought I was reading "War and Peace" w/ this long question. The answer is "Yes" and of course HBK has been a draw. Have you ever been accused of "over thinking" matters?

* The question was only "Did HBK ever draw?". How can JR call that a long question? The rest was just the writer backing up his answer with his side of the story.

* Apart from that i'm backing JR and think the writer is chatting bollox. Of course Shawn Michaels as drew during his career.

* He's probably one of the richest ever wrestlers, as he's been on top of his game for a very large portion of his career.

* The arguement of bringing up other names doesn't wash, as there's always more than one person in the main event picture, no matter who's around.

Did Shawn Michaels ever draw? HAHA Not only did he ALWAYS draw ratings and money when he was in the ring, he also quickly became one of those few wrestlers who don´t HAVE to being in the main event to do so! So, agreed with JR and admin here, this question-asker talks... well... shit.

I love the this fact about HBK.  The fact that he is now the guy that they look to make people look good and the fact that he is seemingly "business-minded" enough to see this as a positive thing for the company.

Yeah, I think that´s part of what makes HBK so great, the very fact that he puts the show and the story over his own title aspirations.

I missed out on Shawn's career until he came back from his back injury. But since then, Shawn is easily one of my favourite performers!

Not only can he still put on a great match - he can make me laugh too and (I imagine) is well respected in the locker room given that only him and 'Taker still remain with the company since the first RAW.

I'll admit, I cried when he had the Career-Threatening match with Ric Flair - it felt like it broke my heart watching it. I get quite emotionally involved sometimes - I cried like a baby when Eddie Guererro passed away and when I found out about the Benoits.

In my opinion, it will be a very sad day in the wrestling world when Shawn finally decides to leave for good.
