Think you people are being too hard on it, granted I don't really care about the geeky minor differences like Leonardo having the wrong swords etc but on the whole I thought it was a really enjoyable film, great CGI effects and a entertaining mix of comedy and action. I also thought Megan Fox's performance was pretty good.
I liked how they made some minor tweeks to the story as well like having Splinter develop his ninja skills from a book, the previous idea of a pet Rat imitating its owner was a bit ridiculous to be fair, they also went in to the origins of the ooze a bit more and tied in the Turtles ancestry to April O'Neil.

For the people waiting to see it there are plenty of HD torrent downloads out there for those who don't mind watching films that way.

Looking forward to the sequel. Smile

as i say, it was passable.  Splinter is just dependant on which origin for him they go with, I always preferred that he was a human who mutated into a rat, rather than any other, such as the one you mentioned which was used for the first film.

there were some nice touches, there really were, but the end was just another overblown mess of noise that is typical of Bays' films, and even worse is that this one he wasn't even directing.  the fact that we can't have coincidences in films now wasn't something I had noticed until I read that article, but we as an audience are probably more to blame for that, as anything that isn't answered within the film is treated as a plot hole.

I thought the first film was quite enjoyable but the second one was so awful absolutely nothing could save it.

The only saving grace was probably Sheamus that was it so you know a movie is bad when a pro wrestler is the only highlight of the movie.
