* Anybody worried about it or doesn't it bother any of you?

* It's not something I worry about because you can't spend your life worrying about what might happen.

* Apparently in the next month or so the whole of Britain will be ready to be vacinated.

I'm a little bit worried I must admit. I'm asthmatic and when I get normal flu I'm completely bed ridden and find it very hard. If I do get swine flu there's a good chance it'll completely fuck me up if not worse.

Im a little concerned because one of my relatives who only actually lives 5 minutes from me has got it and their have been a couple of other cases of it locally involving relatives or people i know.

Im trying not to think about it because as Admin said you cant spend your life worrying about what might happen.
From what ive heard its just like a really bad case of flu and fatal cases are people who are very elderly or already have another illness that is worsened by the flu.

Yeah it really affects the elderly, little children and people who have other illnesses that can be worsened by the flu, but other than that I think and still believe its just like any other case of flu out there...

I'm not worried about the Swine Flu. I was never sick until my chemo & that's all I'm gonna worry about. I feel the hype talking about the Swine Flu is more scary than the Flu itself which is a damn shame. I'm letting this Swine Flu go in 1 ear & out the other cause I'm not the type 2 worry about things. I don't want 2 worry even though they talked about it a million times on TV.

I agree with Webby. I'm asthmatic as well so... I'm a little worried about getting it. I haven't had a serious case of the flu in years so I'm hoping I can avoid it. People I know have been quarantined with suspected cases but have had tests come back clear.

Nah, I'm not worried about it. A colleague of my mum's did get send home from work recently - she'd been on a trip to New York with a friend and her friend caught swine flu. Turns out my mum's colleague didn't have it though thankfully.
