Excellent stuff, got a few ideas in my head on how it'll be playing out. Planning on getting a post up later.

I tried to post a huge update a second ago but lost it, and I'm way too tired from work to retype it so I'll post it after a nap, or tomorrow.

This is why you should always type out your stuff in word or something, so you can just copypaste it here. Also, if you got it saved on your computer, it provides you with a backup library, so you can reread what you wrote so far for inspiration or to avoid conflicting statements

I tried to write my next piece a few times last week and kept getting interrupted, then since Tuesday I've been rather distracted.

I have a scenario in mind for my next piece which I'm now going to try and write a rough plan of its progression at least and hopefully have it in the story thread in the next few days (no promises, GTA is very compelling)

My fellow superhero writers, or generally, anyone who likes to write creatively, I got a couple of questions for ya, just out of plain interest:

What style do you prefer? I mean, are you a first person writer or a narrator, explaining events from afar?

For me, I´m actually a first person kinda guy. I will also transition my style in the storyline into first person now, it´s just more comfortable with me.

Is it easier for you to start a completely new setting, from scratch so to speak or do you prefer to already have a premise that you can feed off on, but also have to stick to?

I love to create something entirely new, but I have the problem that, sometimes, once I laid the groundwork, I find it hard to transition into actual storytelling off that groundwork. With a preexisting premise, I can definately slip into character and go into storytelling a lot easier.

What gets your creative juices flowing? Do you need special inspiration or can you sit down and dish out masterpieces at will?

I hope at least that my paragraphs are worthy of the title
but you can never know, right? Anyways, I can write pretty much anytime, but certain stuff just gets me in the zone a lot more. Like, I will set up some candles, turn on some music and close my eyes for a minute or so before actually getting started. Fun-fact: With my drawing, whatever I do, won´t work. I can only draw when inspiration hit´s me out of nowhere.

I'm personally a third-person guy myself. It's easier formatting wise, in my opinion, and it helps in case I need to switch perspectives suddenly in the middle of a piece. I view my writing as a movie, giving enough description to allow the reader to see and hear what is going on, sometimes even feel, and mixing up the perspectives like a camera cut. I try to, anyway.

The pre-existing setting is ideal for me. The more concrete I can make my descriptions, the better. I could come up with a setting on my own, but it's easier to work within a set of parameters. Like a coloring book.

Your work is top notch stuff. I'm glad you're really jumping into this new incarnation. I also find it easier to write/ create when an inspiration hits me, but I can generally pound it out without having to rely on it. I also do better when I have something to feed off of, so that's that.

Sorry for the delay on my next part.... the League of Legends world finals again playing this weekend and the fact that I just started watching Game of Thrones for the first time do take up quite some part of my day at the moment

Besides that I will be starting to work again on MOnday, so yeah, the infrequency will most likely continue

Worry not though, the next installment is being written at the moment and grows on my wordpad haha

I will be about 5 day's as I start my journey Home and will be too tired to work on things.

I prefer third person as just can't write well enough in first person (Or third lol) but that's just me also My manga storyline is all in third person so I don't wanna fuck up the style of writing as I tend to write a bit of both these days...Plus the artist would kill me as he hates first person narratives.
Y'know what?....It's really fucking hot here in Africa. Who knew?....Well me, I have been doing this for almost 5 years
