It may be time for me to get back in to listening to podcasts again. I few years ago I was listening pretty regularly to both Austin and Jericho's podcasts, but I haven't listened in months now.

If something legitimate between Austin and WWE went down, I can't imagine Austin shying away from talking about it. He tends to be quite direct about this kind of stuff.

... Then again early in Austins podcast career he switched producers after some kind of fallout with his old one, and you could tell something went wrong. When asked about it he did shy away from it by simply saying they didn't see eye to eye about a few things and now he is with Stacey instead, and refused to discuss it more. So who knows?

Regardless his podcasts might be a good source of information as to what is going on with him.

It was odd. They had zero chemistry. Ambrose came off looking partially retarded and Austin came off looking like a cranky, out of touch, old man.

Thats what Ive been thinking about Austin for some time now actually. He sounds well full of himself even now these days, and its always more about him regardless of who hes interviewing.
Ambrose however did indeed sound pissed or stoned or both!! Hes a lucky git if hes giving Renee Young one, but why did she choose him if ?

https://www.usanetwork.com/news/stone-cold-steve-austins-new-reality-show-is-coming-to-usa-this-summer

So the Steve Austin Show podcast has been in re-runs all year, but late last week USA Network announced a new TV show that will follow Monday Night Raw this summer and will be a new twist on his podcast. The show is called Straight Up Steve Austin, where apparently he and his guest will go on a walk or some such thing while conducting the interview.

Also, I noticed this post above in the thread. After listening to the Talk is Jericho podcast yesterday with Jon Moxley, he very clearly called out how much it pissed him off when Austin said some of the things he said, which resulted in the awkwardness that dominated that interview.

In retrospect, you can now see where Austin made assumptions about how things were backstage based off the way they were when he was an active wrestler 10+ years earlier, and Ambrose was just biting his tongue because he couldn't say what he really wanted. In the meantime Austin took Ambrose silence as him just being tightlipped, but for the wrong reasons.

I would love to hear a follow up conversation between the two now that the dirty laundry has been aired.
