Has a member of the W.W.E. universe forum, I can say without any question that your all right, there's not really any postings on wrestling anymore just people going on about who's hot and who's not. I'm glad I was invited to join this forum because I liked it a lot better than the W.W.E. forum.
I'm a  big Stone cold fan and there's nothing I'd  like more than for him return, but I know he will never wrestle again . I have enough respect for the man to wish him well in what ever he wants do outside the ring now he can't wrestle anymore. I  just wish other fans  would have the same respect for him.

Cheers

From Jim Ross Website...........

Quote Please answer. Wrestlemania would have been 200% better if Stone Cold gave 1 final Stunner and who better to get one than Chris Jericho since he just beat the legends earlier that night. What you think??

Steve could have stunned the Pope and the Pope's sister and it would have been great but I loved what he did as it was. Enough is never enough it seems these days.

* If Steve had been allowed to stun Jericho, it would have sucked to watch a main event heel have to sell to a crippled guy who's retired.

* I'm surprised at Wrestlemania that he was allowed to drink beer. I thought he might have been drinking mineral water.

* He's very lucky to be filming the new Sylvester Stallone movie in Brazil because it's an all star cast.

Kane was my faviourite Undertaker was my second faviourite and I have seen them both live but if there was one person I would love to have seen live it would've been Stone Cold Steve Austin this guy while he wasn't the most skilled wrestler in the ring he in my view was the guy who took Wrestling and bought out the Attitude Era and paved the way for guys like Jeff Hardy and HHH.

I disagree especially about paving the way for Triple H, because when Austin was hot during the Attitude Era, Hunter was apart of D-Generation X with Shawn Michaels and Chyna and they were also on the forefront of leading the charge to the Attitude Era, it wasn't all Austin but it was also D-Generation X plus others but with DX doing there pranks and Austin kicking the bosses ass they were the main forefronters for the Attitude Era.

From Jim Ross Website...........

Hi JR, Why do people not give Steve Austin credit for his time in WCW? I was talking to a fellow fan yesterday and I was talking about how Austin is one of the greatest of all time and he said well when he got to WWE he was considered. I am not saying that he was the greatest of all time while in WCW but he held every major title in WCW but the World Title. He was a major star there. Plus I think had WCW had been smart he should have been next in line to face Hulk Hogan after Ric Flair and Big Van Vader instead some of the goofy things did with Hogan in 1995. He was certainly a top superstar when he got WWE and had a nice run in WCW. That is my opinion and I am sticking to it.

Steve's WWE run was so amazing that many people forget that Steve was a star in WCW who really never got a big time chance to run with the ball. I'm kinda happy that happened or we might not have gotten him in WWE when we did.

* JR is correct. Because Steve is a legend in WWE fans tend to forget just how good he was in WCW.

* His Pilman stuff in Hollywood Blondes was great. I used to enjoy it a few years ago on the Sky Sports repeats of WCW Worldwide.

* I'd have liked more of his WCW days to have been on his WWE releases on DVD.

First time I ever saw Austin was on the old WCW Worldwide program that was on ITV back in the late 90s, in my opinion WCW always made a big mistake not trying harder to get a good TV deal in the UK, the lack of that always gave WWE an edge, as even during their hottest period in 1997, WWE was still perceived as bigger over here in the UK and mainland Europe.

Stone Cold did lots of punches & stomps like Hogan, but you have to remember that SC had attitude & a swagg in his matches. Lets not even go to his promos & the stuff he's done like the Beer thing. Battles with future Legends & with Legends back then. Hogan just goes around with his little leg drop & rips a shirt that's looks as if a baby could rip it.

Yeah fans do tend to forget Steve's run in WCW because not many people can remember that far back and the fact that when you mention his name the first company that comes to mind is WWE because of the things he did in that company, Steve basically made WWE so much more appealing with his attitude and the way he wrestled, sure in WWE he wasnt a great wrestler but he knew how to tell a story in that ring whether it was on the mic or wrestling.

Hey guys, when you think of WWE Attitude or RAW IS WAR, there's only 1 name that comes to mind:

Stone Cold Steve Austin

Now, Stone Cold like all of us humans are not perfect and has made some mistakes, but I'm not going to bring up his personal life on here, b/c I don't want to start a conflicted argument, but let's talk about some of the good things that Austin has done since coming to the WWE after being fired from rival company WCW:

Stone Cold has had some of the greatest matches against Bret Hart, the late Owen Hart and The NEW Hart Foundation

Stone Cold's Rivalry with Owen Hart was over the WWE I-C Heavyweight Championship

He won it twice @ Summerslam and Survivor Series back in 1997, but when it came to "The Hitman" Bret Hart, The Texas Rattlesnake has faced The Hitman @ Survivor Series back in 1996 and in 1997, he faced off in a rematch @ Wrestlemania 13, but Austin wasn't going to say I Quit and he didn't even submit, but when he passed out, The Hitman was the winner, but Austin showed alot of guts and determination

Stone Cold has also had great matches against Chris Benoit and Chris Jericho

But in 2003, when Austin cameback to the WWE, he took on Eric Bischoff and finally plotted revenge against the former WCW President

and @ Wrestlemania XIX, he took on The Rock and it was his final match in the WWE

after the match, The Rock and Austin shared respect in the Locker Room as seen on the documentary The Mania of Wrestlemania

Austin has also guided some young talent such as Mr. Kennedy and Randy Orton

He also motivated Shelton Benjamin and he even brought Chris Benoit to RAW to face Triple H and HBK for the World Heavyweight Title

and he has also helped out some of the Divas if you will

Stone Cold has encouraged Trish Stratus and he's even appeared on her DVD entitled:

100% Stratusfaction Guaranteed

When Lita hurted her neck, she called on Stone Cold and sent her to the same doctor that helped him and Chris Benoit and for that, she thanked Stone Cold

and when Victoria (now Tara) tore her ACL, she went to Stone Cold and Austin told her that there was nothing wrong with wearing a knee brace as long as you are careful and as long as you train it

Austin has even encouraged Lilian Garcia as well

and plus, in 2003 when he was co-GM of RAW, Austin brought back the WWE I-C Heavyweight Title something that the WWE did that was a HUGE mistake

Stone Cold even inducted Bret Hart into the WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremony in 2006

Stone Cold is now into the WWE Hall of Fame himself

Well guys, Stone Cold may be the baddest Son of a Gun in the Wrestling Industry, but he has certainly done alot of great things for the WWE

and for that, I salute you Stone Cold

and that's your look @ the good things about Stone Cold Steve Austin better known as the Texas Rattlesnake
