    Posted: 01/November/2014 at 21:34

Friday the 21st of November 2014. Doors are at 6pm, show starts at 7pm. Estimated finish is 10pm if not before.

DQ Sheffield, Fitzwilliam Street, S1 4HA. Under a mile from the train/bus station. Ample street parking around the venue and car parks only a short walk away.

Southside Wrestling Entertainment has been running shows since October 2010 in the Cambridgeshire and Nottinghamshire regions. So far our shows have featured such former WWF/E names like X-Pac, Tommy Dreamer, Ted DiBiase, Fit Finlay, The Hurricane, Juventud Guerrera, Hardcore Holly, Chris Masters and many more. We regularly get over 300 fans in Nottingham and 500 in Stevenage. After a tumultuous start in Sheffield on Friday the 19th of September we persevered against all the changes thrown at us (Broken leg and subsequent pull out of a headline international name and a venue change the week before the show would've been the death of any other event, but it didn't stop us!) and ultimately out first show in Sheffield was a 100% SELL OUT and a huge success with nothing but praise from those in attendance on the night and subsequent feedback online.

General admission standing tickets are £10. With this being a new venue in a brand new market we're trying something new. Even though there is standing on 2 sides of the ring you'll be able to stand right up next to the ring. Other European and English promotions have tried this and it makes for an incredible atmosphere being only able to get mere inches away from ringside and with standing you'll be able to move around and find a vantage point that suits you. There is a capacity of 300 people in the venue so please don't delay in getting tickets as this show WILL sell out, much like our first show.

Tickets on sale at: http://www.southsidewrestling.co.uk/shop/tickets-combos-2014/ill-manors-adult-ticket

Please be aware due to a issue that came about completely outside out of control this event is for those 18 years of age and over, ID will be required on the night

As a result of Haskins successful title defense in Sheffield over Rampage Brown he has become our longest ever Southside Heavyweight Champion and has broken the record for most title defenses. For our return to Sheffield on November 21st at DQ, if Haskins manages to retain his title at our October events, his belt will once again be on the line but this time against a former PWG World Heavyweight Champion, an ROH World Tag Team Champion and a man who was once signed to WWE NXT, "The Knockout Artist" Chris Hero!

Making his second Southside appearance this year and this time as part of a full tour, Hero is a more than qualified challenger for the Southside Heavyweight Championship. A 16 year veteran of the squared circle Hero has wrestled for all the major independent promotions in America, a brief stint in TNA during it's infancy, extensive European tours and a lengthy period of time in Japan wrestling for Pro Wrestling NOAH as well as being signed to WWE NXT as Kassius Ohno, Hero is a match for any competitor. "The Knockout Artist" more than lives up to his name as a variety of elbows and kicks could end the match at any given notice.

The second match announced for our Sheffield return on November 21st is a match that you, the Southside fans specifically requested! For our debut at DQ Sheffield we present to you a first time ever intergender tag team match as the tandem of Southside Speed King Champion, Kay Lee Ray and El Ligero - Lucha Lee Ray - face the returning Nixon Newell and Chris Brookes - The Vulture Squad! Nixon and Brookes made their Southside debut at our last show in Sheffield in an incredible six man tag. They may have ended up on the losing side of that match but all six people got a well deserved outstanding ovation from the Sheffield audience and we knew we had to bring The Vulture Squad back. We also had an idea as to who they should face but our Southside fans immediately began asking for that same match too! These two teams have never faced each other so we are delighted to be able to present to you Lucha Lee Ray vs The Vulture Squad for the very first time ever!

Lucha Lee Ray are our premier intergender tag team. They have been in all three of our previous intergender tag team matches and hold victories over the PWG World Tag Team Champions, The World's Cutest Tag Team (Joey Ryan and Candice LeRae) and a former Southside Heavyweight Champion in T-Bone (with his partner Lana Austin). Their unbeaten run came to an end this past weekend against former CZW World Heavyweight Champion, Drew Gulak and his partner Kimber Lee as Lee pinned Kay Lee just 24 hours before their scheduled singles match. Kay Lee was able to get a measure of revenge as she successfully defended her Southside Speed King Championship against Lee the next night and then managed to retain the belt once again the night after against five other people (including El Ligero) in Europe's first ever Aerial Assault match.

We have now seen that Lucha Lee Ray can be beaten. The Vulture Squad are even more fired up and hungry after making their Southside debut in a loss so they feel they are in a must-win situation. Just nine days after this match Kay Lee Ray will face Nixon Newell in a singles match also for the first time ever. This intergender tag team match in Sheffield may have a huge impact going into that singles contest between two of the best women's wrestlers in the UK. With Mark Haskins vs Chris Hero, Lucha Lee Ray vs The Vulture Squad and Dragon Gate USA star, Uhaa Nation and BBC One star, Grado all on our second visit to Sheffield after our sold out debut, trust us when we say this is going to be a show not to be missed!

The latest match announced for our Sheffield return on Friday the 21st of November is a blockbuster match you will not want to miss! When we told you we had something special to announce with Uhaa Nation's match we really meant it as, for the first time ever in Southside, the former Dragon Gate Open The Twin Gate Champion will face off against "The Aerial Assassin" Will Ospreay!

Uhaa holds huge victories over Kris Travis and Dave Mastiff but also a loss to Travis and an unsuccessful challenge to Mark Haskins Southside Heavyweight Championship in his previous appearances for us. Uhaa is always impressive, an incredible mix of brute force, power, agility and speed that should not be possible in any mortal man. A regular fixture for EVOLVE and Dragon Gate USA he quickly caught the eye of Dragon Gate Japan where he now alternates between time in America, Japan and Europe. He comes to Sheffield with the mind set to create a positive win/loss figure of 3-2 if he manages to defeat Ospreay.

At our last show in Sheffield, Will had one of the biggest wins of his career as he beat arguably one of England's greatest modern wrestlers in Zack Sabre Jnr in an incredible first time ever singles match. In the main event of our 50th show, Day Of Reckoning IV, Will picked up the victory in an incredible four-way match that once again proved our afternoon four-way matches are MOTN contenders in any promotion. Ospreay has shown he can get the job done in the ring, but he'll have his work cut out for him against Nation! Used to facing high-flyers like himself or only bigger, stronger wrestlers, with Uhaa being a mix between the two, "The Aerial Assassin" won't find himself alone in the air so will have to find some way to put the big man down.

Mark Andrews has advanced through to the UK finals of TNA British Bootcamp 2 in London. He's having an incredible 2014 so far with stand out matches against Rich Swann, Tommy End, AR Fox and an absolutely amazing series of matches against Will Ospreay all taking place in a Southside ring along with an American tour culminating in an appearance at CHIKARA's prestigious King Of Trios tournament. Andrews has been an integral part of Southside this year and will be on our next two shows in November.

The first is our next show and our return to Sheffield on Friday the 21st of November for Ill Manors 2014. Our four-way matches always seem to arguably steal the show so to that end Mark Andrews will face off Stevie Boy, Jimmy Havoc and former Southside Speed King Champion and winner of our very first ever 30 Man Royal Rumble, and the man set to face Mark Haskins for the Southside Heavyweight Championship on the 30th of November, Robbie X! Never have the stakes been higher in one of our four-way matches as a victory for any man over Robbie X could inevitably propel them towards either a Southside Speed King title shot or potentially a Southside Heavyweight title shot depending on the outcome on November 30th. But then Mark Andrews was the last man to pin the brand new Southside Speed King Champion, Will Ospreay, so a victory over Andrews could have that person jump the que to face the brand new champion.

Not bad to be able to watch wrestling from as little as a tenner.

Especially when you've Chris Hero on the card as that one fairly well known name should help sales.

Then people turn up to watch him, get to like other guys they have seen for the first time and come back for future shows.

Exactly. We can't help but think anyone who comes along because they know a Chris Hero or Uhaa Nation, saw Kay Lee, Andrews or Grado on TNA/BBC recently, wouldn't be impressed by the quality of wrestling on display and come away fans of the likes of Haskins, Ospreay, Robbie X, etc etc.

Ever since we announced Grado would return to a Southside ring on Friday the 21st of November at Club DQ in our Sheffield return, there was one man who a majority of the Southside audience wanted him to face. And as it turns out this man also wanted to face Grado! So in two weeks and five days time Flex Buffington's undefeated streak takes on it's biggest challenge to date as he takes on the Scottish sensation, the star of BBC One's "Insane Fight Club", a competitor on TNA's British Bootcamp 2, "It's Yersel", it's Grado!

We've seen a lot of heart and determination from Grado on TV recently on the BBC and Challenge and there's no denying that Grado is a man who is passionate about wrestling but also about having fun in the ring and entertaining any audience he performs in front of. While he may have suffered a loss in his Southside debut 7 months ago in Nottingham that defeat will have only driven him harder to ensure he doesn't suffer the same fate when against Flex.

But Flex has spent those past 7 months undefeated in a Southside ring! The streak has lasted an unprecedented seven months and he currently stands at 3 victories with 0 defeats in single contests. Flex requested this singles match against Grado as he wants to add another scalp to his list and continue on with his undefeated streak. We're not expecting a technical classic. Actually.... We have no idea what we're expecting. Grado vs Flex hits Sheffield on Friday the 21st of November.... And Sheffield may never be the same again. Wrestling... May never be the same again. May God have mercy on our souls.

After the events of our last Sheffield show, anyone who was there or has seen the footage knows that this match has to happen and that things *will* get heated. In our opening contest in September, The Hunter Brothers defeated the team of Joseph Conners and Stixx after Stixx was pinned. This victory was a long time coming for The Hunter Brothers as they had spent a full year unable to defeat the team of Conners and Malen, The Predators, so to finally defeat Conners in a tag team match got that monkey off their backs.

But Conners did not take that loss sportingly at all. His feud over this past year with Paul Malen has shown that he is not afraid to lash out physically and has little to no restraint when in that situation. With The Hunters in ring celebrating their victory Conners attacked them both mercilessly with the leather strap that he has found himself so accustomed with over the past year. Jim Hunter was trying to use the ropes to help him back up to his feet as Conners viciously whipped away at his exposed back, not stopping until blood was drawn.

Jim Hunter specifically requested a singles match between the two for our return to Sheffield but when we made Jim's challenge known to Joseph Conners he advised us that Jim would not have the need to go it alone against him, Conners said The Hunter Brothers will have a tag match against him and his chosen partner on Friday the 21st of November. This news surprised both us and The Hunters as we have not seen Conners with any allies in the Southside locker room. But The Hunter Brothers, knowing a tag team match plays right to their strengths, gladly accepted Conners offer for the tag match.

The last time these three were in the same ring together blood was shed. The Hunter Brothers are 9 days away from the biggest match of their Southside career as they face The Sumerian Death Squad for the Southside Tag Team title's. Similarly Joseph Conners is 9 days from a big match of his own as his year long feud with Paul Malen hopefully comes to an end in a leather strap match, the same instrument that sliced Jim Hunter's back open in September and that he used the steel belt buckle of in October to give Paul Malen a crimson mask. This one could get intense very quickly and we've still no idea who Conners mystery partner will be!

In just six days time we return to Sheffield at DQ for a special 18+ Adult Only show. Doors are at 18:00 with a show start of 19:00 and an estimated finish of 22:00. Tickets are on sale right now at: southsidewrestling.co.uk/shop/tickets-combos-2014/ill-manors-adult-ticket

We have an incredible main event lined up as, for the first time in Southside, the newly crowned Southside Speed King Champion, "The Aerial Asassin" Will Ospreay will face "The One Man Nation" Uhaa Nation! And furthermore Will will be making the first defense of the Southside Speed King Championship in this match!

Fresh from appearances on Challenge TV's TNA British Bootcamp 2 Grado, Mark Andrews and Kay Lee Ray will all be in action in Sheffield. Grado will face Flex Buffington, Mark Andrews competes in a fast paced, high flying four way match against Robbie X, Stevie Boy and Jimmy Havoc and Kay Lee Ray will again team up with El Ligero to form Lucha Lee Ray as they face The Vulture Squad, Chris Brookes and Nixon Newell in a first time ever intergender tag team match.

One of the longest reigning PWG World Heavyweight Champions and former WWE NXT superstar, Chris Hero will face former Southside Heavyweight Champion, Stixx. Stixx has faced and defeated and the likes of former ROH and PWG World Heavyweight Champions, Davey Richards and Kevin Steen along with former WWE and ECW wrestler, Super Crazy and ROH Triple Crown winner, "Mr ROH" Roderick Strong so relishes the opportunity to step in the ring with Hero. But "The Knockout Artist" is a seasoned pro who helped make CM Punk a star long before ROH and the WWE and also trained the man they call Antonio Cesaro in WWE but he knew him as Claudio Castagnoli as a fellow King Of Wrestling.

All that plus much more as The Hunter Brothers face 2014 Southside Money In The Bank holder, "The Righteous" Joseph Conners and a mystery partner along with former ICW Heavyweight Champion, BT Gunn making his long awaited Southside debut. Friday the 21st of November promises a night of action not to be missed! Tickets are on sale right now at: southsidewrestling.co.uk/shop/tickets-combos-2014/ill-manors-adult-ticket
