That armor is actually not stock in the game. You either have to mod it and make it yourself (which I know most people don't know how to do) or download a mod.

Figured as much, hence the not-so-apparent sarcasm in that post.

You can call this spam if you want, but me? I call them treasures.

Actually I just stumbled upon this and thought it was pretty funny, thought I'd share.

I think it's a shame they ended this game without another large Dlc and to be honest I was also surprised by this. I think I'm pretty much finished with it after doing six hundred hours or so and I don't really have any time for gaming these days either.

I think all their time is put into The Elder Scrolls: Online now. I would like more expansions to Skyrim though as well. I have followed The Elder Scrolls since Arena. I loved Daggerfall, despite the bugs. Too bad they didn't leave the whore's guild unlocked, it would have made for some fun storylines. I skipped Morrowind in favor of NeverWinter Nights because I didn't have money for it at the time, and have been kicking myself ever since. One of these days I keep thinking I'll buy it and play it despite the age. Oblivion looked great but was somehow boring to me. Skyrim though... SOB IMO Skyrim is the pinnacle of The Elder Scrolls.

Rico, you have to be pretty glad about the Skyrim Morrowind mod that´s being done now, huh? Pretty much, modders trying to bring Morrowind to the Skyrim engine.

Also, the game still see´s some playtime in my PS3, which by now makes it the longest extensively played game in my gaming history (if only for the lack of a PS2, otherwise it would still be Final Fantasy X. But hey, FFX is gonna catch up again in march when the HD Remaster comes out)

Skywind looks good, but it is a long ways from complete. I have the latest install of the mod and the quest and vocal packages are still mostly unintegrated.

ESO, while the beta is live (stress tests going on now) is far more interesting.

It's been over 4 years since anyone has posted in this thread, but I just gotta say the new Beyond Skyrim suite of mods that are very slowly coming out look AWESOME! Bruma, a part of the Cyrodiil suite has been released for about 9 months now and I'm still finding stuff to do in it. They did a fantastic job integrating it into Skyrim's current storylines and making this contemporary with the events of the Dragonborn being found and the Stormcloak rebellion. Yet even as they integrate the storylines, they distance themselves as well being as they're already a part of the empire and not being plagued with the return of dragons.

County Bruma is friggen beautiful, and I can't wait to see the other counties get included and to be able to go back to the capital. As much as I've loved Skyrim (the country) Cyrodiil is so much prettier to adventure in.

Not only that but the same team that has released the Bruma mod is also closing in on releasing the Island of Roscrea (think Greenland) and the Antarctic-like continent of Atmora. Beyond that Illiac Bay has been in development for as long as Bruma plus the extra 9 months since Bruma was released and I would expect sooner or later to see High Rock (homeland of the Bretons), Orsinium (homeland of the Orcs) & Hammerfell (of the Redguards) to start getting released in the months to come as well.

And now, they've released a trailer for the neighboring country of Morrowind.

Now, it'd be very easy to say this team has bitten off more than it can chew, it'll never happen, etc., and TBH, you're right. Except that they've followed through and released County Bruma, and it is every last bit as good as Skyrim's vanilla content, and bigger than the Dragonborn DLC that added the island of Solstheim.

They may be slow, but they're definitely making progress.

If it's been a while since you played Skyrim, if you've never played it, if you own the original game for the PC through Steam, you can claim a free upgrade to the Special Edition, download Beyond Skyrim: Bruma and enjoy a whole new area, and catch glimpses at what is still to come by adventuring down to the invisible walls that mark the edge of the developed country of Cyrodiil. You can also cheat and move beyond that boundary and see that they have working quests, and fully developed areas roped off from your access because it doesn't belong with the Bruma content but with another future release.

And it's all so well integrated, that all you have to do to go to Cyrodiil is follow the road south out of Helgen where you first started the game, up to the gates to Cyrodiil and either talk your way back across the border, or find the bandit infested tunnel that is used to smuggle goods across the border and take that route instead. After which time you can then fast travel.

Even better is that the modding community is so widely accepting and appreciative of these mods that they're integrating their own mods to accomidate Beyond Skyrim. Live Another Life, which allows you to choose your own custom starting play rather than just the vanilla start has a patch that allows you start in Bruma, for example.

Add in other mods that haven't been around too very long (not more than 3 years) like the Ordinator perks overhaul that allows you to create builds so you can play a legit monk that fights barefisted and eventually destroys everything it touches, or a World of Warcraft style Hunter that uses a bow, can tame and fight alongside any pet, and drop traps to help in combat, and you've got a whole new game to play.

I recently checked into all this stuff myself nor more than a couple months ago, and since then I've played Skyrim another 40+ hours and leveled up a barefisted light armor wearing monk that can take on dragons with her fists, when I'm in Skyrim, or forest trolls & ogres when I'm in Cyrodiil.

It's time to play Skyrim again.
