How is it that he isn't on the last couple of PPV's being the US champ ? Why did theynput the strap on him if they arent going to utilize him ?

One of the major changes since Bischoff was announced is how much better Nakamura is being used. He got a surprise win and can now be built back up to where he was before. Maybe at some point move him to Raw as part of The Club to pay homeage to the country it was born in?

What are you even on about? Hes made 2 appearances, 1 he literally done nothing and the other he got a win - its hardly a staggering change

Nakamura being off screen for a while helps as now they can reboot him as a singles guy.
Was nice to see a heel get a strong clean win for once, the downside of course being that this match was non-title meaning Balor almost certainly gets the win when the title match happens. Perhaps they will go the unpredictable route for once. My booking would be have Nakamura beat Balor for the title giving him two straight wins but then have Balor win a third match as the demon giving him a bit of momentum back. That's how I like to see feuds play out even-sided getting both talents over. Edited by Fletch - 11/July/2019 at 18:50 |

Turning Nakamura back to babyface was really well booked in looking strong from start to finish. As soon as he beat Rey clean and was attacked from behind by Corbin it was clear he had been turned even before the respect Daniel Bryan gave him and the beatdown later. I hope he's still with Cesaro who I would have turn face alongside him.

Just goes to prove that you can re-heat a talent that has been floundering in the low card for a long time, this is the best performance I've seen from Nakamura since his NXT days and certainly the most interested I've been in anything hes done since his feud with AJ Styles.
I'm thinking this is building to a match between Nakamura and Reigns which is something I'd like to see if Nakamura can continue putting in this kind of spirited performance, the problem with Nakamura is he came to WWE with a lot of hype and was put straight into top level programmes, but his performances lacked enthusiasm and passion and seemed very paint by numbers, and ever since hes seemed content to just phone it in every week and collect his money which obviously was clear to management as his push quickly fizzled and he slid right down the card. I dont see Nakamura winning the title but a babyface turn and some strong matches with Reigns will hopefully light a fire under him and at least see him move to a upper mid-card spot which is probably where his comfort zone is. Its hard to take Shinsuke seriously as a main event guy even when his ring work is of a higher standard because his promos are just awful.
