So after all that talk a few months back about him spending his wwe career as the franchise of NXT, he now is on Smackdown. I'm not gonna complain about that. I only hope his popularity doesn't fade as a result of his limited English speaking skills.

Man after Miz and Maryse killed me with their impersonations of Cena and Nikki I thought Nakamura was coming out to challenge Miz.

I wonder where he is going to slot into the storylines and have for his first feud?

He just doesn't look a top tier main event guy with his whole image, but will do fine in the high midcard.

Smackdown is definitely the best brand for him to showcase his in ring ability on, which is the most important part of any wrestler.

I hope that the language barrier doesn't hinder him too much now he's in the big league.

He looks like a main event talent every bit as much as Shawn Michaels did, for whatever that's worth. 25 years ago that would have meant midcard, but in the last 15 that's all changed.

I was happy to see Shinsuke Nakamura come out on Smackdown. I think Shinsuke Nakamura vs AJ Styles will make for a great match if they ever book it.  Smackdown is still the top show IMO.

Shinsuke vs Styles is a good shout but I can also see him feuding with Dolph

He's going to be a main event guy, they are making such a big deal out of him that its obvious they have huge plans for him.

Hopefully this Ziggler feud doesn't drag on like Corbins' one did last year as that hurt Corbin a lot. Finish it at Backlash and then move him onto something else.
All Hail Mitchell Johnson and David Warner.

He's been utter tripe so far. He's definitely a less is more kind of attraction for WWE, so the main roster really is exposing him Confused

He's more of a "This is an example of how the main roster ruins everything they touch" sort of guy.

I've always been of the mindset that if a guy can get over, and get over big with a large group of people (like say, the people that show up for an NXT Takeover event) then they can get over with anyone, and if they fail to do so, it's the booker's fault.

Every actor that's won some prestigious award for their acting ability can look like shit if the director doesn't know WTF they're doing, and so it is in the wrestling business too.

Glad to see someone agrees with me, I never got all the hype with this guy, even when he was in NXT.

To me it's like ok he has some catchy theme music to which he prances down to the ring to throwing some bizarre shapes. In the ring he just seems to throw a lot of kicks, typical Japanese style really which I've never been a huge fan of.

The less is more approach is definitely the way forward with him but in honesty I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up being the biggest imported flop since Sin Cara. As I've said I'm not a fan anyway as he doesn't really appeal to my personal taste but that aside something just doesn't seem to be clicking for him on the main roster.

He did well in NXT when we'd only see him perhaps 3 times in 6 weeks, and he'd only wrestle once or twice in that period so less is more with him without a doubt....I've seen people say it's also down to the guys he's been working with....i'm sorry but if you can't put on a very good match with Dolph Ziggler there's something not quite right.
