I think Sheamus wants to get Wrestlemania under his belt then he will have surgery and possibly even retire.

He’s being protected by mostly working tag-matches. He hasn’t shown any visible signs of a crippling spinal condition that’s for sure.

If this year does mark the end of Sheamus’ in-ring career he’s nothing to be ashamed of, definitely hall of fame worthy.

Just because he retires from in ring action doesnt mean he needs to disappear all together

He has the personality, arrogance and ability on the mic to be a manager, general manager, commentator or any other sort of role that doesnt involve competing in the ring

It's a shame (pardon the pun) that he has been turned back to a heel so quickly.

I was enjoying his refreshing face run as a happy go lucky fella and felt it still had a lot of legs left in it.

I am in the minority but most of his best work for me has been as a face, whilst as a heel he gets stale fast.

I'm also in the minority as I prefer Sheamus as a fun loving babyface too. As a heel he's too much of a cartoonish villain for me. I did enjoy some of his heel work in his feud with Jeff Hardy but overall I've always liked him more as a face.

I think the feud with Drew is happening because Sheamus and Drew are very close behind the scenes and want to work together, I think we will see them go one on one at Fastlane as its not a Wrestlemania calibre match.
It will be a strong match and its a natural story due to their history so it should be enjoyable.

I think i also prefer him as a face, however i dont mind his heel work toomuch neither.

Sheamus can go in the ring and he has the personality to be either a face or a heel with relative comfort
