Enzo and Cass were booked more of the babyface team even though it all started by them being heelish backstage taking the piss out of Sheamus and Cesaro.

It makes no sense pairing together two popular teams and having fans have to pick who they cheer for, when they will want to cheer for both.

It would only be a fresh fued if Cass/Enzo were turned heel, but that's not going to happen.

"It makes no sense pairing together two popular teams and having fans have to pick who they cheer for, when they will want to cheer for both."

That is the kind of thinking that needs to die. It's not old-school, it's antiquated.

Fans today LOVE having two people to cheer for. You don't have to choose one or the other, you're happy either way. It means the match can go just about any which way at all, and as long as they put on a good show, the fans go home happy. These are the matches where you have the crowd dueling with each other in the stands seeing who can cheer the loudest for one guy or the other. That's literally win/win. That's like booking AJ Styles vs Chris Jericho and then being shocked when the crowd blows the roof off the place with chants of "AJ Styles! - Y2J!"

The problem with this feud is that Vince still thinks like you do, and since they're both babyface no one is really going to do anything to create conflict and the feud will fizzle because the booker doesn't know anything but what he's done for the last 37 years.

There has to be someone to cheer and someone to boo or it doesn't work.

Sports entertainment isn't like a proper sport where for example when Mayweather boxed Paquiao both guys were popular so plenty will have looked forward to it simply for the occasion.

I bet was really pissed off with a thank you Sheamus chant when he did the Bro Kick to Enzo LOL
