Quote WWE has updated their preview for tonight's Raw, announcing that both Triple H and Shawn Michaels will be on the show to address the "vicious post-match assault" that was carried out by the Undertaker and Kane at Super Show-Down on Saturday. This no doubt is to further the storyline leading to a tag team match for Crown Jewel:

One last time. At WWE Super Show-Down, Triple H conquered The Undertaker in their No Disqualification Match that shattered a table, bent steel and pushed both longtime rivals to their limits.

With both Shawn Michaels and Kane entering the battle and taking full advantage of the lenient stipulation, the WWE Universe bore witness as four of the most iconic Superstars of all time made history Down Under in an incredible main event. However, as Triple H showed his respect for his defeated opponent after the bell, both The Deadman and The Big Red Machine lashed out at The Game and HBK in a horrific display.

Tonight on Raw, The Game and HBK will react to the heinous assault at the hands of The Brothers of Destruction.

How sad that the dirty and oppressive Saudi money has clearly made HBK go back on his word and wrestle again next month.

He probably doesn't count it as breaking his retirement because it's just a glorified house show outside of North America.

Undies and the Big Red Bore were very heelish at SSD, but I suspect in this four person storyline they will be babyface.

If this match happened 10 years ago I would've been all for it but with all four men in their fifties it won't be a good match

I agree. It's bad booking that so many young talents are being used badly, whilst they want to push these four past it oldies.

Quote Triple H comes out to kick off tonight's show right off the bat. As soon as Triple H steps in the ring, Shawn Michaels' music hits and HBK follows him out to the ring. They've got microphones. Triple H talks about reaching the summit at the Super Show Down and the introduces a video package looking at what went down with them and the Brothers of Destruction. Triple H talks about how this business is supposed to be about respect, and he talks about Shawn taking him under his wing and how they fought against the world. Shawn speaks up and talks about how respect is no longer a two-way road for them. Shawn talks about the last 8 and a half years since his retirement, and calls them long years sitting there honoring his word to be retired. Shawn says he stayed retired out of respect, but that respect isn't being returned. Shawn talks about hearing those three words again, "Are you ready." Triple H and Shawn ask if the Brothers of Destruction are ready for Crown Jewel, because D-Generation-X is ready. Michaels says he has something to say to Kane and Taker, with absolutely no respect at all -- if you're not down with their challenge, they got two words for you, suck it. The DX music hits and HHH and HBK do their classic poses in the ring.

Undies didn't respect Taker at SSD, so HB Jizzel isn't going to respect his own retirement. Poor way to make the match.

I would have prefered a comical promo by him saying he was offered too much cash to say no.

In storyline it makes sense, Shawn stayed retired out of respect so when The Undertaker and Kane disrespected him and his best bud he decided to make his comeback to even the score.

I have no problem with this, it’s a good bit of nostalgia that is being used on the international shows for extra drawing power, it’s a sound business move by WWE and I know the Saudi’s wanted big veteran names on the card and offered top dollar.

A tag match also makes sense to help cover up for the limitations of The Undertaker in the ring.

Rumour is moving forward Shawn will work a few more matches on a special attraction basis. Will be odd seeing him in the ring with no hair though

Triple H is going to have to work his ass off to cover for Undertaker, Kane, AND Shawn Michaels though, and let's be honest, Triple H ain't what he used to be either. It's fan service, and in no way legit.

Pretty sure I'll have more fun watching Mixed Match Challenge tag matches between Awesuka vs Fabulous Truth.
