Quote Sources: Wrestling Observer, F4Wonline.com

- Sources close to the situation say Shawn Michaels' knees are in the worst shape that they have ever been in. Whether or not this has something to do with the fact WWE isn't giving him a World Title run is unknown, but there has to be some concern within the company as to the longevity of his career and how much longer he has left in the business.

It would explain why he doesn't do house shows. However I reckon he should still turn up and find some other way to be part of the shows. When a guy wrestles the style that HBK does, he is going to be feeling wear and tear after such a long and amazing career. He's rested up injuries many times and also had lots of surgery. However nothing ever really goes back to 100%. You can see he's slowed down his style in the ring and yet his matches are still great fun to watch most of the time.

Shawn Michaels has been legitematly injured again on Raw. The injury is a torn triceps muscle, and he damaged it when he jumped out of the ring at Lance Cade in the contract signing segment of the show. It should be noted that Michaels wants to work his match at Unforgiven. First reports say he could be out of action for up to six months. HBK hasnt really had much luck with injuries through out his career, from the presumed career-ending back problem in 1998 which put him out for four years, to his recent knee complaints which he considered retiring due to last year. Sadly, this new injury could be the final straw for Shawn, who might just contemplate bringing his glorious long-spanning career to a devestating end. Needless to say, even if Unforgiven is his last match, surely he will be given the Ric Flair type send-off he so richly deserves, and he would have finished on a high with his intense war with Jericho one of the best in recent history.

they have got to have one last WrestleMania match for this guy.  It would truly suck if he had to retire and not get one more match at Mania especially in his home state.

Real shame. I really think Michaels might have to call it a day. Now a real injury builds in even while he's going with a storyline injury.

they could work this injury in and let Jericho run with the idea that he has FINALLY gotten the wrestling world rid of Shawn Michaels and Shawn can come back at Mania and have his final match with Jericho and retire.  I wanted Jericho to win this feud but not this way--with a major injury having to happen to one of them.  It just makes it seem like that's the only way Jericho could beat him. Jericho could carry on about how he got Michaels to retire but also indicate to him that he wants the "real" Shawn Michaels---healthy---to come back for one last match.

Quote source: PWInsider.com

It is believed that Shawn Michaels suffered a triceps tear at tonight's Raw taping in St. Louis. That's the current word going around backstage.

* Apparently he could be out for six months, which would make his comeback possibly at Wrestlemania.

* Reading through the spoilers there's no reason as to why he should have got injured. Is he really that fragile?

* People go on about his knees and back, but now the rest of him is going the same way.

* Don't expect a long match this Sunday when he faces Chris Jericho.

What's sad is the great HBK may have just killed his own career by leaping like a mad dog.

Though, the leap itself was a hilarious botch.

I thought it looked like he fucked that up himself.

One of the best things I seen last night was someone holding a "HBK Fears Y2J" sign.  Classic!

* Wrestlers have said before they will wrestling on injured, but they don't always do so as we know.

* It's down to the doctor at the end of the day and there's every chance we aren't going to see the match on Sunday.

* It's disapointing for both guys as Jericho said in an interview last week that this is probably his favourite ever fued.

* People want to see a conclusion, but it's much more important that HBK doesn't get even more hurt.
