Ohai Maria, seems we came back in around the same time. Nice to see you again.

As far as Ambrose screwing Rollins as he cashes in, the thing is I think it's been established Ambrose enjoys making sure Rollins can't cash in because it allows him to irritate Seth week after week, and if he actually manages to stop him it'll be the most humiliating result for a MITB holder. That said, the match at WrestleMania 31 could be how Seth gets Dean to stop interrupting his cash-ins. Especially if it comes with the same stip for Dean as Daniel Bryan's match with Triple H at XXX.

I think that Dean should have a no attacking Rollins unprovoked (á la Stone Cold and Bischoff in 2003) get Seth DQ'd on his cash in so Rollins has a total genuine reason to hate him. like if ambrose goes to cash in at Mania against Cena or Whoever is holding the belt as soon as the bell rings Ambrose jumps the barrier and hits Whoever with Dirty Deeds and leaves as winner as result of a DQ Whoever. Sets up Rollins and Ambrose for a renewed Feud.

This implies that the Authority would be genre-blind enough to actually put that stipulation in place. Then again, they probably would, given Stephanie had to stop Hunter from throwing Dean out of the building and expecting him not to come back, instead locking him in a room with armed guards. Sure, there was a backdoor in that room which allowed him to get out, but yeah. I could see Rollins or Hunter getting irritated into making that ruling. However, I could also see Stephanie closing the loophole by also adding in that Dean can't show up either at ringside or on the screen during any of Seth's matches.

From a standpoint of just what's going on right now, though, Ambrose and Rollins are the most entertaining thing going in this company. Dean is the man right now in so many ways, Seth is that bastard you want to see get his face punched in, and the heat between the two comes from a very real place that people can relate to, and it's getting the intended reactions. Taking John Cena back out of this was the proper decision in the end, and now all they need to do for the immediate future is give Dean vs. Seth at HIAC the emphasis it deserves and close out the show with it.

It's been very good and has to be a contender to be voted TUP fued of the year. But i'm glad it's coming to an end.

Dean could have done without that in ring segment which did nothing for his character.

Very few laughs came from the audience who like me didn't seem to see the need for a manikin.

Well after the finish at HIAC this feud is still far from over. I really get the feeling this feud is going to be one of those that never end as they'll just have a natural hatred for eachother.

You could be right because the fued didn't have a definitive ending with the sloppy HIAC ending.

Quote From Jim Ross Website

Happy to see that Ambrose and Rollins got the chance to close a major event as that responsibility isn't easy and some talents aren't suited for the role and simply can't handle the pressure. These two are ready for that task and they did a good job with what was laid out for them to execute. Some fans are complaining about the Bray Wyatt interference that caused Rollins to win but perhaps it will work out that was the best way to get the masses to turn on Wyatt who has been largely perceived as a "cult favorite."

I'm glad they got the rub of closing the show as that was the right decision.

Both guys took plenty of punishment and can be happy with their performances.

Yeah it was really refreshing to see two new guys headline a show and receive a chance to shine rather than WWE going with the boring option of putting the millionth meeting of Cena and Orton in the top match position.
Ambrose and Rollins didn't disappoint, it was a great match and they made up for the lack of blood with spots involving tables and chairs and other props. The dusty finish was disappointing but I get the need to protect both Ambrose and Rollins by having neither man suffer a clean loss and like JR said also trying to put some heel heat on Bray Wyatt who has been getting babyface reactions. The crowd were hot throughout the match which should go some way to proving Rollins and Ambrose can hang as headliners.

Quote We go to the ring and out comes Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, Kane, Joey Mercury, Jamie Noble and WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins. They all head to the ring.

We get hype for the WWE World Heavyweight Title match at Elimination Chamber. Rollins asks fans to give it up for Dean Ambrose and they do. Rollins says Ambrose acted like a common thug last week to get what he wanted – a title shot. A “you sold out” chant starts up. Rollins goes on and fans chant for Ambrose. Rollins says The Authority made the match under duress and that’s not how they operate and that’s not best for business. Triple H and Stephanie seem to agree. Rollins says they could take the title shot away from Ambrose right now. Rollins says Triple H could even fire Ambrose right now. Rollins says Triple H actually considered it but he asked him not to fire Ambrose. Rollins says Ambrose isn’t really a threat to him and isn’t on his level. Triple H calls Ambrose to the ring to keep his title shot and he comes out to the stage.

Ambrose says all it took was a steel chair, a few cinderblocks and some imagination to get his title shot. Ambrose says there’s a good chance that The Authority’s golden boy gets replaced by someone they call a lunatic but everyone else will just call the face of WWE. Ambrose says he will make some changes around here. Ambrose cracks jokes on the members of The Authority and gets a Justin Bieber chant going at Rollins. Rollins talks about how it wouldn’t be that bad to be Bieber. They have more words and Ambrose makes his way to the ring to fight but stops at ringside as fans chant his name. Roman Reigns’ music hits and out he comes through the crowd.

Stephanie stops them and announces Kane and Rollins vs. Reigns and Ambrose for tonight and that match is happening right now. Triple H’s music hits as we go to commercial.

It's a shame Ambrose will be doing his usual job, as i'd love a title change.

Rollins hasn't captured the imagination of the fans or ratings, whilst Ambrose is on fire right now.

The idea that the Authority couldn't keep a match contract away from Dean was very lame though.

I would disagree about Rollins, I think hes done a great job as the top heel in WWE and reminds me very much of Edge when he was on top of the world as a heel as champion.
I wouldn't be against a title change though and a prolonged series between Ambrose and Rollins, it could almost be the modern day equivalent of The Rock vs Triple H. However I think this is just a stop-gap feud until Lesnar returns or Reigns or Cena return to the World title picture.

Its funny how Ambrose has emerged as the breakout star and most popular guy from the Shield though with most expecting him to either be the least successful or be pushed as a heel. Would seem to date Roman Reigns has seen the least success in a solo role.

Quote We get a video for tonight’s main event. Seth Rollins is walking backstage when Kane walks up. He says he’s been waiting for this moment since Rollins won the title at WrestleMania. Kane laughs and says the future is history before walking off. Triple H and Stephanie walk up next. They say they’re behind him and the weight of the entire company rests on Rollins tonight. She says it will be Rollins’ fault if Dean Ambrose becomes champion. Triple H tells Rollins to clear his mind and show everyone why Triple H chose him, show them who he is, show them that he’s Seth Rollins – the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Triple H gets Rollins hype and he walks off to the ring.

Ladder Match for the WWE World Heavyweight Title: Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins

We get the rules and introductions from Lilian Garcia. The WWE World Heavyweight Title belt hangs high above the ring. Dean Ambrose makes his way out first to a pop. Seth Rollins is out next and he looks ready to fight.

They lock up and start going at it. Ambrose takes Rollins down first and goes to work. Ambrose with a hard kick to the side. Ambrose backs Rollins into the corner and whips him across the ring but runs into boots. Rollins takes him down and drops knees. Rollins with kicks in the corner now. More back and forth now. Ambrose hits a running bulldog. Rollins counters a move and sends Ambrose head first into the turnbuckle. Rollins sends Ambrose to the floor with a knee to the back. Rollins follows and slams Ambrose on the floor. Ambrose comes back and takes Rollins down. They finally bring a ladder into play. Rollins sends Ambrose into it at ringside. Rollins avoids being whipped into it. They trade shots on the apron as fans chant for Justin Bieber. Rollins goes to dive through the ropes but Ambrose shoves the ladder int him. Ambrose slides the ladder into the ring and stands it up.

They both try to climb the ladder and keep pulling each other off. They go up different sides and trade shots now. Ambrose sends Rollins head first into the ladder and it tips over. Ambrose leans the ladder in the corner and stomps on Rollins. Ambrose goes to suplex Rollins onto the ladder but it’s blocked. Ambrose fights back and hits the double underhook onto the ladder. Ambrose climbs up the ladder but not for the title. He drops the big Bionic Elbow for Dusty. Ambrose clotheslines Rollins to the floor. Ambrose climbs back for the title but Rollins comes in with a steel chair and stops him. Rollins takes out the knees with a chair and Ambrose falls to the mat.

Ambrose limps and pulls Rollins off the ladder. Rollins kicks the leg out and the ladder is tipped over. Rollins goes to work on the leg as fans chant for Ambrose. Rollins rams the ladder into Ambrose’s hurt knee and laughs about it. Rollins puts the leg in between the ladder legs and stomps on it. Rollins talks trash and pushes Ambrose around. Ambrose turns it around in the corner but Rollins goes for the leg and stops him. Rollins applies the Figure Four around the ring post. Rollins bring it back in the ring and applies another Figure Four while talking trash. Ambrose finally turns it over and reverses the hold but Rollins breaks it. Rollins goes right back to work. He takes Ambrose to the top and turns him upside down. Rollins stomps away. Rollins grabs another steel chair from under the ring and smacks the knee with it.

With Ambrose still upside down in the corner, Rollins climbs up and nails a stomp to the face. Rollins stands the ladder up but Ambrose manages to stop him and make a comeback. Ambrose goes for the bounce back clothesline but Rollins puts the ladder in the way and they go down. Rollins goes to the top but Ambrose throws a chair at his face. Ambrose climbs up with him for a superplex but Rollins fights him off. Rollins goes to springboard in from the apron but gets crotched. Ambrose with a huge clothesline from the top. Ambrose unloads with punches and chops but Rollins cuts him off. Ambrose with a bad knee to the gut. Ambrose with a clothesline that sends them both over the top to the floor. They fight in the entrance way. Rollins sends Ambrose head first into the barrier support. Rollins runs back to the ring and stands the ladder up.

Ambrose ducks a ladder and comes in to fight. He eats a kick, a kick to the head but then comes back with the clothesline. Rollins slides out of Dirty Deeds and goes to the floor. Ambrose follows but gets pushed back. Rollins goes through the crowd and Ambrose chases him fighting. They fight through the crowd and to a production area. Rollins leaves Ambrose laying and heads back to the ring. Rollins gets a ladder from under the ring but is dragging. Ambrose runs over the barrier and floors Rollins. Fans chant “this is awesome” now. Ambrose has a ladder bridge built from the apron to the announce table. They come back in the ring and Rollins goes for a powerbomb onto the bridge. Ambrose fights out of it. Rollins gets backdropped from the ring to the ladder bridge and it buckles. A “holy shit” chant starts up.

Ambrose pulls a ladder from under the ring and brings it in. Ambrose stands it up and slowly climbs it with his bad leg. Rollins comes in and stops him but Ambrose sends Rollins to the floor. Ambrose clotheslines Rollins over the Spanish announce table and flies over with him. Ambrose nails Dirty Deeds on top of the announce table. Ambrose rolls to the floor and tries to make it back in the ring. He makes it in and Rollins is still down on the announce table. Ambrose starts climbing the ladder on one leg. Rollins runs in and slams a TV monitor into the bad leg. Rollins climbs but Ambrose comes from behind and stops him. They go to the mat and Rollins drops him with the Pedigree. Rollins climbs back up but here comes Ambrose again. Rollins kicks him in the jaw. Ambrose sends Rollins back to the floor after side stepping. Rollins pulls Ambrose out and rams him head first into the ladder bridge. Rollins launches Ambrose with a powerbomb into the barrier. Rollins grabs Ambrose and runs for another big powerbomb into the barrier. Rollins pulls chairs and ladders from under the ring and makes a pile on the floor. Rollins with a sitdown powerbomb on the pile. Cole calls it the symbolic burial of Ambrose. Rollins goes back in and climbs the ladder as fans boo. Ambrose jumps up and runs in the ring. He climbs up after Rollins and grabs him. They both get their hands on the title and fall down with it but Rollins is clutching it. The bell rings and Rollins is announced the winner to retain his title.

Winner: Seth Rollins

– After the match, we go to replays as they both try to recover. Rollins stumbles away with his title and looks back at Ambrose, who is trying to get to his feet. Triple H walks up as Rollins is yelling trash to Ambrose. Triple H raises Rollins’ arm and they leave together. We get more replays as Triple H hypes Rollins and applauds him. We get another replay of the finish. JoJo comes out and congratulates Rollins on retaining. Rollins says he told us so, nobody can hang with him and he’s the best WWE has to offer. Rollins says he’s the greatest WWE World Champion of all-time. His music hits as we get yet another replay. Money In the Bank goes off the air with Ambrose looking on as Rollins celebrates with his title.

THAT was just the kind of match Rollins needed to enhance his reptuation as the champion.

Ambrose doesn't come out of it looking badly as he's had the upperhand for weeks.

I wouldn't be against another battle between them at Battleground.
