Great match at Summerslam a worthy main event. I hope this silences some of Brock's critics as he proved here he can deliver a great performance when given enough time in a big match setting.

This was a huge improvement on their rushed match at Wrestlemania and fans got the result they wanted with the title restored to the full-time roster.

Will be interesting to see how Brock bounces back from this as he obviously lost clean to a beaten up Rollins, this isn't good for the dominant beast aura of Lesnar that he couldn't defeat a less than 100% Seth but I guess the match was booked to show Seth digging deep and powering through the pain in a gruelling match to get the win. I loved the spot where Seth countered Lesnar's german suplexes by landing on his feet.
My guess is Lesnar will now take a leave of absence probably until next year and then return looking dominant in a new feud.

Quote Brock Lesnar (c) vs. Seth Rollins: Brock's Universal Title is on the line in this one. Paul Heyman is in Brock's corner, and he does Brock's special ring introduction. Brock starts off strong and charges Rollins into the corner for some punishment. Rollins fights back with a kick to the face. Brock looks for a German suplex, but Seth lands on his feet and hits a curb stomp on Brock. Seth covers for a two count. Brock rolls out to ringside and Seth hits a flying knee off the apron on Brock. Back in the ring, Brock fights back with the F-5. Brock grabs Rollins by his taped ribs, and he hits a series of German suplexes on Rollins. The fight spills out to ringside and Brock hits a German suplex on the floor. Rollins starts fighting back, and back in the ring Rollins hits a flying knee strike to the face of Lesnar. Rollins goes back to the top rope for another one, but Brock side-steps it and hits a German suplex on Rollins. Brock looks for a spear in the corner, but Seth side-steps it and Brock crashes in to the ring post. Rollins dumps Brock outside and follows up with a suicide dive on him. Rollins runs back in the ring and hits a second suicide dive on the Champion. Rollins looks for a third dive, but this time Brock catches Seth and slams him into the ring post. Seth comes back with a superkick, and he puts Brock on the announce table. Seth goes to the top rope and hits a frogsplash off the top turnbuckle on Brock through the announce table. Back in the ring, Rollins hits another frog splash for a two count. Rollins looks for a superkick, but Brock blocks. Brock looks for the F-5, but Seth escapes. Seth hits a superkick, and follows up with the curb stomp. Seth pins for the three count, and we have a new Champion.

Winner & new Universal Champion: Seth Rollins

- Rollins celebrates with his Universal Title belt after the match as we go to replays. Seth climbs on one of the announce tables and holds his belt in the air as fireworks go off and SummerSlam goes off the air.

I was surprised at the title switch. I thought the regular Raw beatdowns were to protect Seth when he lost.

Instead we have Brock made to look weak by losing to clean to a much smaller guy who's supposedly banged up.

The match quality was great though. We need Brock to work more longer matches like this, because he can still go.

In a big match scenario few are better than Lesnar, its a shame he only gets to show this on rare occasions but I think a lot of this is Brock himself only wants to work short matches most of the time.

Brock will either vanish in to the sunset for a while now or will possibly reappear on Smackdown when they debut on Fox.

You remember WrestleMania XXX where the Undertaker's streak ended (which I was and still am against), and everyone said (well, this is so Brock looks invincible so he can later put over [a term I hate] but put over the future of the company and later it will benefit him.)

Seth is that guy Brock put over.

Twice.

In my eyes, Seth carries the streak.

Seth joins an illustrious club in terms of people with clean wins over Lesnar.

I know it's real early days but I'd love Rollins v Wyatt down the line for the belt.

I may be wrong but I think Goldberg is the only talent other than Rollins to hold multiple wins over Lesnar.

From memory these are the names that I know have beaten Brock in the middle of the ring:

Big Show
Kurt Angle
The Undertaker
Eddie Guerrero
Goldberg
John Cena
Triple H
Roman Reigns
Seth Rollins

So thats less than 10 names that hold wins over Lesnar.

WWE and Brock have done a excellent job of building him to be this unstoppable force and a win over him now really means something. Ending the streak of The Undertaker was a key ingredient of that even though I personally would have preferred someone else to end the streak.

I like the idea of Rollins vs The Fiend but I also feel The Fiend will be the kind of character who doesnt need titles much like The Undertaker.

Yeah I still feel like it should have been Bray Wyatt to end Undertaker's streak, and in retrospect Lesnar beating Dean Ambrose is more noteworthy than ever before thanks to the re-emergence of Jon Moxley. Having both of the other members of The Shield go over clean helps highlight the thought process behind building up Lesnar's prestige and setting up his major losses in recent times. However it also highlights how they mismanaged Dean Ambrose, too.

They managed to get away with not putting over Samoa Joe, Kevin Owens, or Braun Strowman, while putting over Rollins and Reigns. With Ambrose not winning the street fight at mania, they showed the fans, if not Ambrose himself what they think of him compared to Rollins and Reigns.
