Yes, this is one way to ensure that a heel turn, course as said once before no real heels and faces anymore, but that the crowd would definitely boo Dean. It was a brilliant time to do it.

People are saying it’s in poor taste but Roman would want the show to go on and he definitely wouldn’t want to see his two buddies miss out on a money making top level programme that had obviously been planned for some time. Chances are it may have even been Reigns that said let’s make the best of a bad situation and use what happened with me as a way to put heat on Ambrose.

The other thing is with Roman’s emotional real life situation playing out that night nobody would expect to see a member of the Shield turn heel, so they had unpredictability on their side especially after winning the tag belts as well.

I don’t think there is anything wrong with what they did, it’s scripted entertainment and everybody knows behind the scenes both guys think the world of Roman.

Exactly put yourself in Reigns position. Your two best mates who you've travelled thousands of miles with on the road get to be highlighted more than usual by making a story from your misfortune.

Quote WWE Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins comes out to the ring next. Rollins steps in the ring and he's got a mic. He thanks the fans for the support they've shown for Roman Reigns since his announcement. Rollins wonders if maybe Ambrose turning on him was his fault because of Rollins turning on him four years ago. Rollins says he knows where to find Ambrose, and that's in the ring, so he asks Ambrose to come out to the ring and explain why he attacked last week. Ambrose's music hits, but there's no Ambrose. Rollins looks around and finds Ambrose standing in the crowd. Rollins tells Ambrose come in the ring and face him like a man and give him the answer he deserves. Ambrose has a mic but hesitates before talking. Rollins calls Ambrose a cold hearted bastard, and he spit on everything the Shield stands for. Rollins says he's going to make Ambrose's life hell, and he's going to come up there and beat an answer out of him. Rollins threatens to go up through the crowd, but he decides against it as Ambrose makes his exit out of the arena.

Ambrose was brilliantly heelish by not giving Rollins the answers he wants and for also avoiding physical contact.

This could be the one on one IC title match at Survivor Series, as I don't want them put in a multi person match.

I think it's more likely we'll see Ambrose screw Rollins over, giving Nakamura the win if I'm honest. They're going red vs blue again after all

I like Ambrose not being in a hurry to explain his actions, but nothing else about the whole storyline.

Why didn't Corbin say if Seth won the handicap match he could name a new tag team partner?

That way instead of a title change you could have Ambrose not liking the idea of himself being replaced, so he gets involved to retain before disappearing again.

That's a pretty good idea. The problem however is that AoP were going to be the winners, not Seth Rollins. Rollins beating the Authors of Pain by himself would have completely neutered them, and relegated them to lower than The Ascension.

The upside though with it furthering the storyline between Ambrose & Rollins is great though. They could have used a jobber tag team, like the Ascension instead of AoP, and then done Rollins & whoever against AOP next week, maybe.

Perhaps Ambrose could have gotten involved as well to show his jealousy at being replaced costing Rollins the match.

The other problem though is that Rollins vs Nakamura being announced, it was pretty clear that Rollins wouldn't be pulling double duty, as it's extremely rare outside of tournament and battle royal rumble situations.
