I wouldn´t say Ambrose is hulking up, more than he´s coming more into his lunatic/wild card gimmick that he´s branded with. He´s the guy that you punch in the face and he laughs at you, asks for more and suddenly is all over you.

Quote From Jim Ross Website

RAW was an o.k. show with a hot ending. Therefore the thing that most people will take away from the broadcast was Seth Rollins turning his back on Ambrose and Reigns and apparently aligning himself with HHH and Randy Orton.

Or did he?

I always thought that Dean Ambrose was the natural heel of the Shield but I've got no issues with Seth Rollins doing the dirty deed even though in a perfect world I would  have preferred that the Shield stay together a little longer. Apparently, WWE felt compelled to re-shuffle the deck which isn't necessarily a bad thing. I'd assume that several dominoes will fall as time moves forward and the company prepares for a major push to Summer Slam. In other words, I'd assume that multiple cards are up in the air and won't land on the table until August.

Rollins can talk and is extremely athletic and those two traits are generally considered essential to be a successful pro wrestling villain. Rollins is a bumping machine ala HBK in his healthy, heel days.

Still thinking @WWERomanReigns is WWE Champ coming out of WM31.

It's weird that they have made the most babyface friendly guy of the group the heel.

Just as weird as to how they would explain Rollins turning on his team of winners to join a team that keeps losing and being made to look weak.

I guess he's in a pretty good position now to become the first ever WWE Champion, Ring Of Honor Champion and NXT Champion.

Rollins has the whole package at the moment (Even though I think he is like Triple H and will have great matches with other greats) so it makes sense. Reigns isn't great on the mic yet but he will be, and Ambrose will be an awesome heel Champion when (Not if, WHEN) he get's his WWE Champ run. All 3 of these guys are going to be Title contenders like Rock, HHH and SCSA were, and also you will have Bray Wyatt, Ceasaro and Barrett there as well.

I think JR said it all. The show was ok, but seeing Rollins turn heel was a huge shocker.

I guess with Bryan out and Punk out they felt they needed get more singles guys in action?

I would have liked to have seen Shield with the tag titles one last time, and seeing them take it from Harper and Rowan after they take the belts from the Uso's.

However, these three ought to have great singles matches against each other, and like I said in the payback thread, I am finally convinced Reigns is ready for singles competition and so the sky is the limit for all three now. I am worried how Ambrose will fair on his own starting out as a face, but I have liked his ring work more as a face, so maybe that will carry him, until he can turn heel. Wonder if we will have Rollins vs Reigns for the WWE title soon?

tbh I really like the idea of having this mitb be for the title itself, but I would hope that after kayfabing Brie's firing, that they wouldn't strip bryan on the title. If they did though, I would want to see Rollins come away with the belt this ppv.

Smart decision to go with Rollins because:
1) He is the most all round talented of the group.
2) He has been the most overlooked member of Shield since their arrival, with Ambrose receiving most of the attention at the start with him being the unrecognised leader of the group and his lengthy U.S. Title run. Also, Roman Reigns has garnered most of the praise lately, so it's a natural set up for him to be jealous.
3) If you look back the night after the Elimination Chamber the seeds for this were planted when Rollins walked out on The Shield during their match with the Wyatt's because it all looked liked Ambrose would be the one to turn on the group due to his bickering with Reigns.
4) He was glue that really held the Shield together, hence why he was dubbed "The Architect". So with him gone, The Shield will crumble.

At the moment he is I think Ambrose will end up being the Standout All rounder

Good point I always had the Idea that Rollins was the main team player keeping the Shield together as opposed to the jealous type

Another good point I had forgotten that he walked away. But I do think WWE should have had the Wyatts break the Shield by turning a member in a lengthy feud as opposed to resurrecting a faction I had no interest in the first time around

The Shield will fall unless they recruit a new Hound. If they do I would like to see Drew McIntyre (wishful thinking) or maybe even align themselves with the ascension and bring them up.

With Rollins turning on The Shield last night on Raw, will the standout guy in the fans eyes get a decent run whilst siding with HHH and Randy Orton or will he get lost in the shuffle in the WWE's adamant run of making Roman Reigns the next big thing?

Rollins has it all, he can talk, he can go in the ring, and he rarely has a bad match. I hope this is the start of a push towards a solid singles run for him as for me he was the glue for The Shield and is the best wrestler of the three without a doubt Smile

It's going to be interesting to see how they play it out. I just hope they don't ruin his momentum and have him slide down the ladder due to this. I'd actually love it if they had him double cross Evolution at whichever match they have soon.

Either way I hope that there are some good times ahead for Seth Rollins.

I love how the last couple of months of The Shield being together is what made this such a big angle. If they did it before Mania like it was looking like, it wouldn't of meant anything near the same.

I'm certainly going to give this time to play out. I still think it was worth keeping the Shield together and going after the Wyatts again (or even ruling the entire company with all the belts) but really what else could the three do together? Beat Evolution again? Beat the top three guys in the company again?

Interesting having Rollins do the turn. I always predicted it would be Ambrose to do it asDean's character would fit well as a heel. But this is certainly going to keep me interested.

Either Ambrose needs to go with Rollins now or The Shield need a new member ASAP. I would probably look at NXT and bringing up a guy from there.
All Hail Mitchell Johnson and David Warner.

I don't see them replacing Rollins. My question is whether Ambrose and Reigns drift apart like Team Hell No did, or if they go on to tag team success?

It appears Harper and Rowan are about to be tag champs, depending on how things work out with Ambrose and Reigns and Rollins and Orton and HHH, perhaps by the time Ambrose and Reigns are done putting over Rollins, they will rebound by taking the belts from Harper and Rowan.
