Quote Bayley comes out and does a brief interview with Charly Caruso, but before she can really get started Absolution interrupts. Paige, Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville come out, and Paige cuts a promo on Bayley calling her a stupid little kid.

- Bayley vs. Mandy Rose: Mandy and Bayley start off trading holds until Mandy hits a dropkick in the corner to take over. Mandy works over Bayley's arm, then slams her into the corner. Bayley starts fighting back and hits a running elbow shot. Rose rolls outside for a breather with Absolution. Back in the ring, Rose tees off on Bayley with strikes. Bayley misses a shot and Rose answers with a running knee for a two count. Mandy keeps control and works over Bayley on the mat. Bayley counters a slingshot and drops Rose over the middle rope. Bayley fires up with some clotheslines and strikes now, then slams Mandy into the corner over and over. Bayley hits a suplex, then climbs to the middle rope but Sonya distracts her. Bayley still hits a flying elbow on Rose. Sonya gets back on the apron, and the distraction leads to Rose rolling up Bayley for a two count. Bayley comes back with a rollup pin of her own for the three count.

Winner: Bayley

- Rose and Deville immediately start beating down Bayley after the bell. Sasha banks runs down to make the save, and Absolution retreats. Sasha goes to hug Bayley, but Bayley declines and walks away.

Love this change of persona for Bayley, with her being booked as a subtle heel.

When Sasha turned on her at Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber it was every woman for herself. So when Bayley jumped off the ring apron last week that was heelish as on that occasion they were on the same team.

Also last night a lack of thanks from being saved from a big beatdown.

Hmm... I would have liked to have seen this. This wasn't on Raw on Hulu either.

After Asuka decided to jump ship last night at "WWE Fastlane" I now think Sasha Banks should get the title shot at WrestleMania against Alexa Bliss & win it for the 5th time.
It's over. It's ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL over!

And then have Carmella cash in

i like Sasha but i think with her new attitude thing she has going at the minute - its a little too soon to put the title on her

Bayley for me is not champion material in any shape or form

Jax is probably the only other credible potential champion on Raw

It wouldnt be a bad thing to keep it on Alexa until they established some other top contenders

Nah, neither Bayley or Sasha need the belt at the moment. As long as they get a singles match at Mania I think all is well in their world.

WWE need to figure out what to do with Bayley, and how best to book her, because what she had going was absolutely fantastic in NXT, and the internet was buzzing about her all the time. Now no one gives a shit because the main roster booking dropped the ball with her and made her look terribly lame.

It seems this feud is being put in place as an attempt to rectify that shortcoming, and Sasha will want to do right by Bayley. Or perhaps I should say Mercedes will want to do right by Pamela? This is behind the scenes personal for the two of them, both wanting to have more to do at WrestleMania, and knowing that they have an opportunity to show up the rest of the roster because they'll (likely) have a singles match, very possibly the only non-title women's singles match on the show. They have no decision in who goes over, but even if Sasha is booked to go over, you know Mercedes will want Pamela to come out looking as good as she possibly can so that they can keep working together and continue a program in a high profile role that will hopefully lead to Bayley finally establishing herself as a top performer on the main roster.

I agree Birthday Boy. Keep them away from the Moolah Mashup, which is for those going nowhere.

Quote Sasha Banks vs. Sonya Deville: Bayley and Absolution are all at ringside. The bell sounds and the opening minutes are evenly matched until Sasha hits a series of dropkicks. She hits Sonya again, then throws her out of the ring. Back in the ring, Sonya hits a series of strikes and mounts a comeback. Deville works on keeping The Boss grounded on the mat now. The other Absolution members look to interfere, but Bayley chases them off. Sasha fires up and hits the backstabber, then the Banks Statement for the win after a short match.

Winner: Sasha Banks

- After the bell, Absolution beats down Sasha. Bayley appears to have left the ringside arena and she didn't return to help during the post-match beat-down.

More great heelish work by Bayley to look reluctant at having Sasha's back and then not coming back out to help her once the match was over.

I hope the big turn happens soon and she turns up at Wrestlemania with a total makeover. New hair colour, new hairstyle, new ring music and new dress sense.

Actually you bring up an interesting discussion point. At this point I think we all know a full blown heel turn is in the works for either Sasha or Bayley. So first of all, DO you turn Bayley heel, or Sasha? And also, when do you do it?

I kind of hate to see Bayley turn heel, as I'd really like to see her succeed as a babyface, but I'm not sure it'll ever work unless she gets the Roman Reigns/John Cena treatment, and that doesn't look like it's going to happen so turning her heel might be the way to go.

However, Sasha is such a fantastically good heel, that she could very likely get Bayley over as a babyface and she is FAR more interesting herself as a heel than a babyface.

Honestly, I could see a good argument for either person turning heel, but then the question still remains, when? Do you do as Adders suggests, and turn Bayley heel before mania and have her debut a new character at the PPV? Do you patch things up between them and then have Bayley sucker punch Sasha at the show and have her go ape shit all over her ass? Do you have them patch things up on the build to mania, and then Sasha sucker punches Bayley and tell her she's a dope for trusting her and then have a fire lit under Bayley's ass to rise to the occasion as Sasha revisits her Takeover Brooklyn (the first one) ways of being over the top mob boss bitchy?

What do you do that benefits them both the most and keeps the fans entertained?

I didn't care for Sasha as a heel. In real life she's a computer game nerd/geek, who gets a lot of love in interviews off others. She appears really well liked and i'm surprised these sides of her haven't been shown in her character.

Bayley as heel you could shorten her hair, dye it blonde and have her come out with sunglasses hanging from her head, in jeans and a black leather jacket (just an example).

Bayley needs the Wrestlemania win the most and I don't think Sasha would have an issue putting over her bestie.

Bayley might not have hit the heights but she's far harder to dislike than Sasha. Bayley has appeared in plenty of videos for UpUpDownDown and the like and even personally, Sasha has that overbearing, slightly obnoxious personality that comes with a life of smack talk (which is my favourite thing about her) meanwhile Bayley is the understated underdog. That's who she is.

I definitely see Sasha going heel because I think Raw is lacking in top drawer heels. Beyond Bliss there isn't really anyone. With Jax en route to being a major face you need bad guys and Bayley isn't big enough or realistic enough to fill those shoes.

Bayley just needs someone rooting for her. Someone on WWE's production crew, and especially through commentary that's willing to say, look at everything Bayley has been through, and she just keeps persevering, she deserves the support of the people.

That's what failed Sami Zayn, too. Zayn is surprisingly ok as a heel, but let's be honest, he is one of the best whitemeat, good-guy babyfaces you could possibly come by. But all we ever had was Vince in the commentary's ear saying look at how annoying he is! And that's why Zayn failed, Vince thought Zayn was annoying, so everyone crapped on him and so his babyface run failed.

Vince doesn't like the soft-spoken girl next door underdog type so the WWE doesn't like it either and so Bayley will fail just because of that. Yet clearly if we see production in support of, like in NXT Bayley soars to unbelievable heights.

Just support Bayley and she WILL succeed. Don't put her in terrible stories like "this is your life" and a ANYTHING on a pole match. She was one of the very first women who grabbed my eye years ago before the women's revolution ever started because she was a fantastic wrestler, and she could easily be a female John Cena, you could not get any better built for it personality wise. Just fucking GO WITH IT! Shit it's not rocket science. Just continue doing what you did in NXT and she'll become one of your top merch sellers and bigger draws in the entire company.

Sasha is a heel, let her be a heel. Come on she looked like she got off on making kids cry during her iron man match. Don't trying reinvent the wheel, just go with what works.
