Quote Sin Cara is waiting in the ring for his opponent, and Samoa Joe's music hit. Joe makes his SmackDown debut as he is the latest star to be traded from RAW.

- Sin Cara vs. Samoa Joe: The opening bell sounds and Cara starts off strong, but Joe lays into him with a series of strikes that stuns him. Joe looks for a suplex but Cara slides away and fights back. Joe drops Cara and hits more stiff strikes, finishing with a big knee. Joe drops Cara into the Coquina Clutch for the win.

Winner: Samoa Joe

- After the match, Joe gets on the mic and says SmackDown seems more like the land of handouts than the land of opportunities. He cuts a promo about everyone on SmackDown having it easy, until now. Joe says now he will take all the opportunities, and he wants to take down Daniel Bryan, Randy Orton, and AJ Styles. Joe says to watch him compete in Saudi Arabia and at Backlash for an example of what he's going to do to the SmackDown roster. Joe promises to put Reigns down for good if there's anything left of Reigns after his match with Lesnar. He says if Reigns somehow beats Lesnar for the Universal Title, Joe will rip that Title away from Reigns at Backlash. Joe's music hits and he heads to the back.

So E have spoilt it because if Roman Reigns as expected beats Brock in Saudi Arabia, we know there is no title change at Backlash as the Universal title isn't going to Smackdown.

I suppose his stay on Smackdown could be short and they allow him to move back to Raw.

He's going to be better off on Smackdown away from Vince's favourites.

I know he’s been hurt somewhat but are the WWE powers to be not pushing him now like before ? A match with AJ and Joe to me is much more appealing the Rusev. Time to get Joe back near the top of the food chain

Joe will be challenging for the title. He's been missing just to make time for the rest of a very full Smackdown roster.

Years of wear and tear on his large frame, when he spent many years doing cruiserweight moves in the X Division of TNA, has taken their toll on his body.

Could it not be more that the less you see of him, the more special his appearances are?

Do you see him possibly being named next week by Paige to face AJ at Summerslam, when she names the number one contender?

The less is more approach is working for him. He came off Raw on the losing end of his major feuds so it’s smart to take some time to rebuild his destroyer image, this week having him make short work of Dillinger was a good start.

I think there’s a good chance Joe will be named number one contender to face AJ at Summerslam.

I certainly hope so. Joe has paid his dues and been in the sport for years. WWE seems to have their favorites like most companies do and some really good talent gets lost in the shuffle. I don’t want that to be the case for Joe

I strongly believe that Samoa Joe is the next WWE champion.

Tom, I hope you’re right but Inlike AJ as champ too. Should be a heck of a feud.

AJ has held the belt for a long time and now WWE have started comparing this run to other long term title runs so its only a matter of time before he drops it.

Id rather it be against someone like Samoa Joe than someone like Randy Orton.

Will be interesting to see if Joe gets pushed back into the title picture
