Yeah its upbeat but the way I judge WWE theme tunes is on if they sound like a actual tune/song you would want to listen to or if it sounds like one of those programmed in generic tunes you could play through a electronic keyboard during music class at school, Zayn's sounds like the latter.
Read a report saying that his appearance was only set to be a one off and not his official debut, hope that's not the case as after his match with Kevin Owens at Takeover I really feel like hes done with NXT and is ready to move on, plus the Montreal appearance really was the perfect way to introduce him.

If he's torn his rotator cuff like some reports say, he could be down in NXT for a full year more and off TV for a good portion of that time too. Otherwise I could easily see him get a second run as NXT champion.

Quote There are rumors that Sami Zayn's return at the WWE Roadblock event on the WWE Network may be the setup to a match at WrestleMania 32. Zayn is currently booked for Saturday's Roadblock special and there is talk of having him and Kevin Owens continue their feud leading to a match between the two at WrestleMania 32.

There has been talk that Owens will be defending the Intercontinental Title in a multi-person match, but that doesn't mean Zayn won't be involved in the match. They could also do a one-on-one match between the Owens and Zayn but that remains to be seen.

I hope they do Zayn vs Owens at Wrestlemania one on one as it would just be really fitting, would be a great match and what a setting to renew their rivalry this time on the main roster. My gut feeling though is we will get the multi-man match as I think time constraints will mean Owens/Zayn won't get the allocated time it needs to really deliver and WWE will want to get as many talents as possible on the card.

I'd like to know if that multiman ic title match talk is coming from wwe itself or just the iwc speculating that it is going to happen because it happens all the time now.

I get the logic behind trying to get as many people on the show as possible, but it devalues the title when it happens every year for no other reason than "hey, throw all these guys that have nothing else to do in this match". If you're going to do that all the time then why not at least make an annual event out of it so people can plan for it in storylines like with King of the Ring, Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber, and Money in the Bank.

Zayn vs Owens is a worthy singles match that could steal the show. No reason to clusterfuck it up.

How does someone popular and over with crowds get used less on a split roster?

Taz made a good point on his show today that he thinks it's Vince saying to HHH you might take my place when i'm gone but for now i'm still the boss especially on the flagship show.

It makes a lot of sense because it's known Hs loves smaller indy type guys and Vince hasn't ever been a fan of them., therefore I can see that being true.

Zayn vs Braun is a interesting feud... on NXT. On Raw it's a disaster waiting to happen.

This is exactly the kind of feud that has people sick of Vince booking and tired of main roster antics.

We know what's going to happen, Braun's big, and Vince's current darling, and to his credit he IS getting better, and he has loads of personality just waiting to come out on the mic that hasn't happened yet. But the thing is, Zayn is a main event talent, and ought to treated as such, not fed to Strowman. It's crap, it's completely soul-sucking seeing unfold, and that's why the crowd is dead. It's bad booking, and it's par for the course. The crowd isn't going to boo loudly because Zayn lost, not after Vince pushes the wrong guy time after time and year after year. They such sit quietly in disappointment. But Vince is too godam stupid to understand the difference.

In NXT this show could be about David vs Goliath, and seeing how Zayn will overcome the monster, which, unless Strowman legitimately gets massively over during the course of the feud, Zayn will do because he's Sami fucking Zayn! The best seller alive, and the best in-ring talent in the WWE today.

Quote From Jim Ross Website
  • Hitman8976rawk Asks: I don't really understand the logic behind the booking of sami zayn last week after the survivor series where he gets cheated out of the ic title he then gets punished with a match against braun... How does that make sense? Furthermore the fact he had to stand there and take a lecture off Stephanie mcmahon like he's a six year old doesn't help either... How would you book him?
    J.R.'s Answer:

All wrestling creative doesn't; resonate with everyone but I try to not get too excited about any of it one way or another and simply enjoy the process and how things evolve.

I think all this punishment stuff from management because he didn't bring the IC title to Raw is going to result in his biggest push so far.

He's looked good so far back chatting Foley and standing upto Braun even though he's supposedly out of his depth there.

Steph/Mick should continue to stack the odds against him so crowds feel the need to hopefully get behind him more.

Heard a rumour this will result in him being traded to Smackdown. In honesty I don't mind that as he's a better fit for the blue brand where he can be a top tier guy while over on Raw he's a bit lost in the shuffle.

I could see him getting a upset win over Strowman but it'll be booked to look lucky, like a fluke. Sami is better than jobber fodder but I reckon there's a good chance management are not high on him due to his ordinary look and size and just view him as a good hand in the ring best used to enhance the top talent.

Zayn was elevated more last night than any time during his E career and that was largely thanks to Mick Foley.

Sami showed great intensity that his character isn't usually allowed to show.

The idea that Eva Marie would be a fair roster swap for him was very funny LOL

I still think he should have went to Smackdown...he has the ability to work with AJ Style and Dean Ambrose and be a potential world champion.

I just don't think he'll be elevated to the top tier of RAW as long as the roster is so top heavy.
