^ I agree with that, even if he doesnt win the title at that event, it would still put him up as a major name for the company.

That would be one of my dream matches, but there is this one thing that frustrates me as TNA has a packed up roster which has alot of talented and awesome wrestlers, and every single day, they are adding new people in. and it is becoming this huge ship which has gone overload. Hope a new show pops out soon.

Guys can you help me out

Sounds a helluva lot like Dubya C Dubya (WCW) when Eric Bischoff was running it. They had a lot of talent back then and yeah Eric is seemingly doing the same with TNA now.

Hopefully TNA get a new show.

Its exactly like WCW when they were packing out their roster with new talent.

I dont see it as a bad thing as how can it be bad to have a loaded roster as it gives you far more options and allows the company to keep the product fresh - but like WCW did TNA need to add a second show to make sure every valuable member of the roster gets ample tv-time, for example where has Samoa Joe been the past few weeks and the matches on Impact always seem very rushed these days.

Yeah and Scott Steiner, Rhyno and a few others.

TNA definately need to have another show, which is what we already know, but with WCW they had atleast three or four when Eric Bischoff was in charge (WCW Nitro, WCW Thunder, WCW Saturday Night), so yeah TNA could probably do well with three shows especially if they air one in the morning on a Saturday.

Hulk Hogan has talked alot about pushing the younger guys. And we can see that these days.

Beer Money, Pope, Wolfe, AJ, Daniels. and I am sure that joe is soon going to be in this list. And I agree with you in the new show point. They really need one. And they need a tag belt for the cruiserweights like WCW had one for.

Like Joe, Where is Stevie,Kiyoshi,Raven,ODB,Sarita,Taylor,Daffney,Lethal Consequences,Homicide.

And I blame that, due to the less TV time, we did not see a good ending of W/E. We know its dead. There is no more W/E.

Lets see what happens in the future, I heard that Eric B is trying to get a new show for TNA. And RVD is hinting to all of us that he really wants to go to TNA.

Quote According to a new article from The Blast, former WWE, TNA and ECW Superstar Rob Van Dam recently filed documents in his ongoing divorce with estranged wife Sonya. The documents involve a financial settlement and support between the two.

According to the site, RVD is arguing that he should pay less than Sonya is asking because he no longer lives the lifestyle he used to. In the documents, RVD claims that he suffered a concussion that “caused visual impairment” back on November 12th, 2016 and has “disqualified me from working for the WWE.” He also claims that his WWE merchandising contract ended in July of 2017, and will not be renewed.

RVD also claims to have “aged out” of the business due to injuries and not being able to work for WWE anymore. Because of this, he has a “substantially reduced” income. He also says his ex-wife Sonya is perfectly capable of earning her own income, and has asked that the judge consider his financial situation when setting support.

Didn't know he was getting a divorce. After 17 years together and supporting her through her winning battle with colon cancer, it makes it even more a shame.

He's got a point about his earnings. But she could be thinking he's purposely not working much and when the divorce goes through all of a sudden he's going to be extremely busy and his earnings go back up.

Bit like knowing the work is there whenever you want it, so waiting until you get to see more of it in your own pocket.

RVD is 46 he isn't going to be getting regular paydays from WWE now, even if he wasn't concussed or anything, he'd be too part time to gain anything substantial.

On the other side, he did so much for her during her battle with cancer so it does make it a damn shame.

I have to say, good for him. there's a lot of guys, his generation being almost the last, that would still work whatever matches in whatever venues they could.

that said, there probably isn't anything stopping him from still working in the business if the right promotion offers him a decent booking or agent gig. it wouldn't be WWE, and Anthem still haven't sorted out the various issues it really needs to for him to go there.

of course, there could be more to why he can't work any aspect of wrestling now that he simply isn't going into that is completely on him, but I think a lot of promotions would be happy to have a guy like RVD in a backstage capacity, myself.

Have to say I’m a bit gutted. I’m a big RVD fan and hoped he could have had one final WWE run to round off his career. Now seems his final WWE memories will be his forgettable brief stint when he came back part-time.

At 46 he was never going to come back to WWE for more than a part-time role, especially as he was so vocal about hating the WWE road schedule when his first stint ended, he also admitted he went to TNA because the schedule and location was all very appealing, sadly aside from his short World title reign he achieved little of note there.

Would like to see him come back and have matches with guys like Neville and Styles but that seems unlikely.

Perhaps a role in NXT could be worked out? Rob could have top matches with some of the talent down there and could maybe take on a role as a trainer?

Is a shame about the divorce, from what I saw I thought he and his wife were solid.
