Quote Stephanie McMahon comes down to the ring to open up the show. Stephanie gets in the ring and on the microphone, and she admonishes the crowd for taunting her for tapping out last night. Stephanie says this was all her master plan, to challenge Ronda Rousey and bring out the best in Ronda like no one else can. Stephanie says she's proud of what she accomplished in bringing out the best in Ronda, then introduces "Rowdy" Ronda Rousey. Ronda comes down to the ring and high-fives fans on the way. Ronda gets in the ring, and Stephanie congratulates her on the win last night. Stephanie reminds Ronda she is under contract to her, and Stephanie says she can put the WWE machine behind Ronda to make Ronda a bigger star. Stephanie says Ronda needs Stephanie in her corner to succeed and get respect from the fans. The fans chant "bullsh*t" and "shut the f**k" up at Stephanie as she talks. Stephanie and Ronda shake hands, then hug, but then Ronda puts her in the arm bar again out of nowhere. Stephanie screams about her arm, then Ronda lets go and heads to the back as medics check on Stephanie. Ronda high-fives fans on the way to the back as Stephanie is assisted to the back. Stephanie cries about her arm as the fans chant "you deserve it." Jojo gets on the microphone off-screen and asks the fans to give some respect to Stephanie McMahon.

Now this is the blow off from her Wrestlemania fued, where does she go from here?

She's not going to be demoted to Smackdown and they have months to fill before the next big four event.

I think to build hype she might be kept in tag team matches and save her first solo match until Summerslam.

It really depends on what kind of schedule she'll be working. We still don't really know, do we? Is she going to be gone until Money in the Bank or Summerslam? WWE could seriously use her for raitings, but on the other hand it'll be interesting to see how over Rousey gets/stays. Does she get even more over? Does her popularity wane? What kind of storylines will keep Rousey interesting for that long?

If Stephanie vs Rousey is supposed to be the new Vince vs Austin, then Stephanie needs to come out next week and suspend Rousey, only for Rousey to immediately come out attack her arm again, and get hauled out by the police, and then have it happen again the week after that even though Rousey isn't even supposed to be there.

Stephanie will also have to start showing some serious teeth like the uber bitch she can be so that way Rousey can knock them in.

One thing I will say is that I was starting to get really annoyed with how smiley and easy to laugh Rousey was while Stephanie was talking, but when Rousey finally closed the distance wiped of the smile to show it was all an act, I bought into it. However, while I'm willing to dismiss it as just an act for the segment, I hope Rousey doesn't come out that smiley and easy to laugh in the future because it's just too much at this point.

When Rousey first came in I did expect her to be on a part time basis; but I am glad she so far seems to be around all the time. I do think that if she were to compete at least as much as a few pay per views a year, have Raw segs every now and then, and a match or two on Raw within the year (treated as if it is a special thing of course), then she should be more than fine with the crowd.  They do respect her ability.

And if in case you were wondering where I stand on her considering my above paragraph, I stand by that she was unproven before WrestleMania. I will give you she looked impressive at WrestleMania, and not just against Stephanie. The tangling with Hunter gave her a lot of credibility that she would not have had had she just demolished Stephanie. But, I would like to see more of her. I'm sure I will.

I disagree with Adders that she should remain in tag team matches right now. Singles matches would help her.

I am going to agree with you on this; and Austin vs Vince is a good comparison. In fact were Rousey to beat up some security, it would help her in wonders in gaining fan traction. As for right now, I do expect Stephanie to have a formal form of retaliation next week.

That being said (and I think you would agree with this) there is only so many times Ronda can wrap up Stephanie in a twisty knot; which brings us to the task of finding opponents for her. She should, for the moment, stay away from top talent, top talent defined as anyone they want the belt on for the time being. The people fed to her should be credible but also people who are expendable or otherwise could take a loss.

(This is the part where you talk about how great Rousey vs Sonya would be.)

This could easily become the ladies version of Vince vs Austin, the long term booking should see Stephanie recruit someone(Shayna Baszler perhaps) to face Ronda although that doesn’t need to happen for a while yet.

We don’t need to see Ronda every week, keep her value high and the fans wanting more with sporadic appearances, although I would like to see her around more than Lesnar is.

With PPV events dual branded this puts WWE in a good spot with scheduling as having Ronda sit out a few of the less important shows opens a space for someone else.

Stephanie should not be on TV for the next several months, as she was when she took the table bump last year. Having Stephanie away will allow Ronda to start some other programs for the time being, with possible candidates being Alicia Fox (once she gets cleared), Natalya (who I assume will be moving to Raw as part of the Superstar Shakeup), Alexa Bliss (if she isn't moved back to SmackDown), and Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville.

This way she gets ring time and experience and will be good to go once they're ready to start the rumored Ronda-Charlotte feud expected to main event next year's WrestleMania.

Good call on Natty. Makes sense in a real and storyline way moving her to RAW. Looks like what's left of Absolution will be joining Paige with the Riott Squad coming over, no?

So Natty will protect and carry Rousey, while behind the scenes continue with training her as well. Not a bad gig for Natty at all, really. I know Natty fans that want to see her with gold will probably bitch and moan about it, but it's actually a good job for her when WWE don't see her as much more than a female Kane/Big Show/Mark Henry.

Most of all I'm pleasantly surprised to see Rousey is still on Raw, as opposed to not being on TV until the build for a later PPV event like Money in the Bank or SummerSlam. Looks like she might be making quite a few TV events. Doubt she is doing house shows though, right?

She is booked for a few international shows next month and a MSG show in July, where I'm sure she's gonna just squash someone.

Three different countries, but not one in the UK. I suspect she will be on Raw over here, but that it won't be announced yet.

Her actions made total sense. She's going to want to help the woman who helped her get ready for this.

The look on her face and manerisms when she came to the ring for the save could be better. She looked like a moody little girl who's been sent to her bedroom by her parents for being naughty.

I think it's great they're having Ronda work with the veterans for the time being. Sure, you could have her in there with Alexa Bliss, Sasha Banks, etc. but I don't know if that's what would help her get on the path of success right away, as if you're working with vets, you're gonna learn a ton of shit, and quick.
