It's official. Roman Reigns has made the jump to SmackDown, laying waste to Elias, who also made the jump, and Vince McMahon himself, thus enabling such feuds to occur such as Styles/Rollins. Personally, I like this move. He gets a fresh start and his first night there, he is already booked like a badass, which is exactly what his character needed.

However, this may mean Kofi's days as WWE Champion and being pushed are numbered.

Well Kofi wont last too long as champ ... Reigns will have an intro feud and then be pushed straight for the title

Kofi will probably hold until the Money in the Bank holder cashes in before Summerslam, and that person will be a transitional champ for Reigns to beat at Summerslam.

He's babyface but came across as an arrogant prick by refusing medical help from experts.

The whole segment was shit and fake looking from the moment we had the widest shot ever of a interviewer to give the game away something was going to happen.

We also didn't find out who his Summerslam opponent was which was the big selling point they mentioned loads throughout the broadcast.

I didn't mind the angle as it sets up the possibility of a new talent making their debut or a existing talent getting a push, plus it will hopefully be a new fresh feud.

People online are saying Buddy Murphy!! I mean I guess its possible but are they really that high on Murphy that they are going to push him straight in to a major match with Reigns? It would be one hell of a rub for Murphy.

Personally I would much rather it be a top star from NXT like Adam Cole or Velveteen Dream or Tomassa Ciampa.

EDIT:

Quote As seen during Tuesday night’s edition of WWE SmackDown! Live, Roman Reigns was attacked backstage after someone pushed over some scaffolding on him. While he escaped unharmed, the identity of his attacker was not revealed. Some fans speculated online that it was Buddy Murphy who was behind the attack but that doesn’t appear to be the case.
According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Daniel Bryan is going to be revealed as the attacker and this will lead to a match between Reigns and Bryan at SummerSlam. That is also the reason why Daniel Bryan has not said anything regarding his ‘career-altering announcement’ that has been hyped up for several weeks now.

I had a feeling it might be Bryan as neither he or Reigns are currently booked in a major programme heading into Summerslam.

I'm fine with it, should be a good match and it plays into Bryan's storyline of wanting to do something bigger than the tag belts so now he's going after the biggest star in the company, makes sense.

Quote According to Ryan Satin of prowrestlingsheet.com, Roman Reigns is staying with WWE for the foreseeable future, having recently signed a new multi-year contract with the company. The exact term of his new contract is not known, but Reigns signed the deal last month and it is for a "few more years."

A big positive for Vince Mcmahon as he's one of the few names that would be a genuine WOW moment for AEW.

I'm not sure he will see out his contract though because I suspect The Rock to help him get more movie roles, before he maybe disappears to Hollywood.

With the Fox money and AEW competition it's bound to be the biggest salary he's ever had.

Roman Reigns
Only reason I’m down your throat, is because you keep your mouth open. I’m the best performer of this generation period and the title is finally in the right hands for it to hold true value.

Roman being forced down people's throats again.....such an overrated perfromer. The belt has changed hands has so many times it just has no prestige. Rubbish.

He's got such a huge family in the business that you can use the coming months for him to beat up family members putting them out of action like both Jimmy and Jey and even spear Naomi.

You can bring back some of his family members have him lay out the likes of Rikishi.

Then at Wrestlemania next year to defend the honour of the family The Rock can return to face Roman.

I think we will see Roman vs Goldberg at Wrestlemania. It was planned for this year but had to be shelved due to Covid, Goldberg has said he's contracted for a couple of matches next year and it makes more sense than ever now with Roman being a heel and holding the title so thankfully there will be no need to put the strap on Goldberg this time.

The Jey Uso angle is a tool to put more heel heat on Roman, it's smart booking and I've enjoyed what I've seen. Roman was excellently heelish this week being so cool and indifferent towards Jey, he maintained the family bond but subtly suggested he was the far better man who would easily defeat Jey at Clash of Champions. Roman coming out late in the tag match to effortlessly score the winning pinfall was another piece of smart heel booking.
