Amazing that he stayed alive over half a century longer than the so called experts thought he would.

I've seen his Theory Of Everything movie and found his life story very interesting, with the struggles he overcome.

His place in history can't be disputed. The best of his field, ever.

He was a legend in his field. Can't say I'm surprised he died though as he was 76 and with his MND he had a good innings.

He did have an interesting life story though.

Y'know what?....It's really fucking hot here in Africa. Who knew?....Well me, I have been doing this for almost 5 years

I’m also not surprised - while I believe the bloke is very very clever in reality all of his work were theories - anyone can have a theory on anything but because he’s so clever he’s rarely questioned

Incredible that he lived so long, he was diagnosed with MND young and from the little I know of the illness prognosis is normally that you are not expected to live for more than 3-5 years at best.

I actually know very little about his theories and so forth but the guy was unquestionably very clever and despite a crippling illness was able to become a major celebrity and keep contributing within his field.

His biographical film The Theory of Everything is actually well worth a look.
