I'm not his biggest fan but he is deserving of his headlining spot, he can always be relied upon to have a great match with pretty much anyone, he is really over and shifts loads of merchandise.

As much as I hate to admit it but it's clearly the truth & I've been more of a fan of Smackdown than Raw anyway. I'm just like The Undertaker always on the blue brand & not going to Raw unless for an appearance ... lol

The crowd also seems to like Rey Mysterio on Smackdown more than Raw plus he seems to be more up the ladder on Smackdown.
Trags for HOF'er !

Quote WWE has extended Rey Mysterio's contract for the length of time from when he suffered his knee injury last August until his expected return. This will end up being roughly 10 or 11 months added to the end of his deal

Theres still hope for Sin Cara v Mysterio at WM29 Big smile

Quote WWE superstar Rey Mysterio was scheduled to work the WWE Supershow last night in Jonesboro, Arkansas. However, he had to be sent home as he was suffering from stomach flu. Mysterio was booked to tag with Sin Cara. He was replaced at the last minute by Brodus Clay. Brodus and Sin Cara went on to defeat Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow during the show.

Mysterio should be back and healthy in time for Monday Night RAW. This week's WWE RAW will feature the finals of the WWE Tag Team Championship Tournament. Mysterio will be taking the weekend off to return with the crew on Monday.

Well, hoping to see him do some crazy things on SmackDown. Tha Tag Team tournament is great so far. I hope we see a great tag team going in the process.

He was absolutely awesome how dead he looked from selling being laid out by Roman Reigns.

Ever the professional even though he was probably put on jobbing duties for being seen as his fault for him being booed at the Royal Rumble.

He's not going to get near a title again in an hurry, but at least he's seemingly staying injury free currently.

I wouldn't be too surprised to see Mysterio eek his way up to the top again, but first he'll have to show he's still Rey Mysterio of old, and stay injury free. But he'll never hold the title for long. (This sounds eerily familiar to what people want to have happen with Daniel Bryan)

Quote With Rey Mysterio now officially joining Smackdown Live as a wrestler, WWE was quick to post an article highlighting his upcoming appearances and stressing that he is returning as a "full-time" wrestler. As noted before, Mysterio has signed a 2-year contract with WWE but he has an option to void the contract after 18 months.

Rey Mysterio is back with WWE on a full-time basis, meaning the WWE Universe will have the opportunity to see The Master of The 619 live and in person in the very near future.

The masked marvel’s return begins on SmackDown 1000 next Tuesday when he faces Shinsuke Nakamura in a WWE World Cup Qualifying Match. In addition, WWE fans in the following cities will get to see Mysterio in action on the below dates:

Hartford, Conn. – Oct. 20
Boston, Mass. – Oct. 21
White Plains, N.Y. – Oct. 22
Cardiff, Wales – Nov. 3
Aberdeen, Scotland – Nov. 4
Birmingham, England – Nov. 5

I would have had him on 205 Live to give the brand a big name to boost it.

I don't agree with him getting a full time schedule. I expect him to be injured before Royal Rumble.

I hope he's not built up to a genuine world title contender.  High midcard should be his place.

Rey's still got it and smackdown is the show to be on for him personally I am down for future matches of him vs Jeff Hardy, Samoa Joe and AJ Styles.

Is he going to be world champ maybe I see no issue with him holding the belt smackdown needs a number 2 face Jeff Hardy is too injury prone and is closer to retirement then Rey is.

Oh I agree , Rey is still fantastic but I just figure he’s fell in to the catagory of Bobby Lashley and others that WWE put under contract to keep any real competition down.
