Hello all,

I've recently started getting into building my own RetroPie (google it, it's a fun little hobby/activity).  As I did this, I started looking into some ROM Mods for retro games.  While it took me some time to understand just how to check these out, I found some amazing mods that I always wanted as a kid.  Primarily, I located the following mods that I think are some of the best:

1. Super Mario World - 2 player, on-screen co-op!  My girlfriend and I love this one.
2. Mario 64 - 2 player, on-screen co-op!  My friend and I play this all of the time.
3. Mother 3 - English Translation (Earthbound 2)
4. Conker's High Rule Tail - a mod using the Zelda Link to the Past game (REALLY funny dialogue, definitely a labor of love)
5. Mario 64, Online Co-Op (This requires a Windows machine to get working, and isn't super user intuitive -- can't be run on a retropie.  But, once you get it working and coordinate with friends, it's actually a shit ton of fun).

So, wondering, has anyone else looked into some cool retro mods?  Any you'd like to recommend to folks to check out?  Or, perhaps, any cool "custom arcade machines" you've built that have tutorials that you'd like to share?
