Sorry Drey, but I had 2 go off topic 4 a second ... lol ... I feel WWE can do the commercial free thing here & there hopefully they don't make it 2 where only Donald Trump can make a demand like that. It would suck BIG time if that happened, I love Layla so much that's why I make Random Thoughts about her.

Yeah and since it worked I'm sure Vince is willing to have another commercial free Raw, and I'm sure Trump helped him out on it aswell (paying for it to happen) as I highly doubt Vince could afford it on his own, even though he is close to being a billionaire, I'm sure WWE would've lost a whole lot of money on the idea.

from ewrestlingnews.com
As expected, company sources say that WWE management is ecstatic with the 4.5 rating RAW pulled this week. The company is giving credit for the rise in viewer-ship to curiosity over what could happen with Donald Trump taking over the brand in storylines. They feel that the commercial-free aspect had much less to do with the ratings rise than Trump did.

This is leading at least one source to believe they haven’t seen the end of the Trump/McMahon saga, provided that Trump is willing to do more wrestling appearances. Vince and Donald are old friends, and the idea came together after USA asked WWE to do something big for the commercial-free show. WWE doesn’t get paid for commercials, so they didn’t take a loss.

I've highlighted that last line as I believe somebody mentioned wwe losing money from the commercial free episode. Obviously, this states that wwe don't actually get paid for commercials on USA, so it's probably the network who lost money rather than wwe.

For that reason alone, I believe wwe would definitely be willing to do another commercial free episode if USA allows them to. As long as they do something special again to boost the ratings for it, USA network should be happy.

Oh Thanks X I didn't know WWE doesn't lose money from the commercails. We all know Vince & Donald get a long, but it's pretty funny 2 them have there moments. At least there trying 2 make something entertaining. Giving fans something 2 cheer about which was nice 4 a change.

Quote As reported earlier, this week's WWE Raw drew a 3.9 cable rating, down 14% from the last week's 4.5 (Trump's commercial-free show). Monday's Raw averaged 5.96 million viewers for the 2-hour broadcast. Despite the drop from last week, this week's show is still 7.4% better than the 5-week average and 12.3% better than the 10 week average. (Source: PWTorch.com).

* Is it really any surprise? Wait until next week when the Raw rating drops even more than this week.

Week 1: Raw came without commercials and got the biggest rating in years.

Week 2: Back to having commercials and down 14% in the space of seven days.

Week 3: Next week not only commercials, it's also not live with spoilers freely available. That will kill the rating.

Raw is falling rapidly and it goes to show without breaks every 2-3mins you can keep in the flow of things you can stay glued to the show and not have to get back into the swing of the show after the 7th Gillet for men shaving advert!

The whole special guest host is a poor attempt to try and get some ratings back into the show and how they think the Million Dollar man as host will rake in the ratings fails me.  No doubt they will turn to 3:16 also to try and get some more ratings but its a sad turn of event :s

3.9 is pretty damned good in this day and age.  Another thing is the show drew more people in the second hour than driving them away.

The thing with the guest hosts is not a bad thing at all.  It's something different. It's not like the host is dominating the entire show.  What they did with Batista was a farily decent thing.  He wasn't on too much which was nice.

I wish they'd get The Rock or Stone Cold--they'd make for a great show but those two would be on a lot.

Stone Cold I could see doing it but not The Rock, I think Rock is all but happy to have walked away when he could have.

3.9 though is still a good rating like people have said, sure its way down from 4.5 but that show had more reason for people to tune in, but oh well.

Representatives for The Rock would talk him out of it even if he wanted to do it.  Just expressing a little bit of hope there with that.  Can you see HHH actually having to be bossed around by The Rock anyway?  .

If this was around 1998 to 2002 era then yeah it would be very funny indeed, I could see Rock totally own HHH all the time, lol, but now days no not really as Rock would play a good guy and since Hunter is a good guy, I can see Rock and him working together.
