I'd scrap it as a separate entity, throw the 205 live stuff in the bin and just concentrate on developing the division during the normal weekly shows. Build it up like they have done with the Intercontinental title, get some cruiserweights some big wins over established top talent so that the division looks respectable instead of a bunch of spot monkeys who have their own show because they arent good enough to compete with the rest.

Some of the Promos Enzo has done, albeit as part of his heel character, have done more harm than good for the 205 name.

I still stand by what i said a while back 0 it would be far better having the Women have their own show and maybe their own PPV's as opposed to the Cruiserweights.

If the women's division had their own 205 Live equivalent as well as a few PPV's that would actually be really good.

The Cruiserweights just need attention and free reign in the ring.

This is why I think the Cruiserweights should be removed from Raw. Having a few throwaway tag matches like this week is pointless, it’s piss break tv as no real attention is given to them on Raw and they work a watered down style in relatively short matches, it’s comparable to the old Divas division before the revolution.

My suggestion would be make them exclusive to 205 Live only and let them work a less restricted style, make 205 more of a NXT type product, less storylines and more ring action as that is what fans of Cruiserweight wrestling want.

The top stars of 205 Live can still appear on Raw and Smackdown but as part of the heavyweight division.

Most of the women's roster is 205 Live anyway, because Vince doesn't like bigger ladies like Nia or Tamina.

Quote Cedric Alexander & Mustafa Ali vs. Tony Nese & Drew Gulak: Tony and ali start off, with Nese unloading with strikes. Ali turns it around and tags in Cedric, then they double team Nese. Nese comes back now and tags in Gulak to return the favor with a double team. Nese tags back in for another double team, then hits a big lariat on Cedric. Ali and Gulak tag in at the same time and go at it. Ali hits a Tornado DDT, but Nese breaksup the pin. Nese gets thrown outside, then Cedric hits a dive on him. Ali hits a crossbody on Gulak back in the ring, then Cedric tags in shortly after and hits a flying clothesline on Gulak. Cedric follows up with the Lumbar Check for the three count.

Winners: Cedric Alexander & Mustafa Ali

How many times do we need to see the same old faces in multi person matches? It's boring.

One big plus though Drake Maverick on commentary, which should be every single week on Raw during the 205 Live stuff.

Quote There has been a big backstage shift in the WWE with the 205 Live brand.

PWinsider.com has published a report that states that WWE Chairman Vince McMahon is no longer charge of the TV series as he has stepped aside. Now, Triple H, who oversees NXT, is in charge of the brand. As seen by watching the show on the WWE Network, “The Game” has brought back many of the hallmarks of the Cruiserweight Classic to the show. While McMahon wanted to showcase their personalities, Triple H has focused more on their in-ring work.

It was noted in the report that McMahon made the decision to allow Triple H to take over as show runner two weeks ago in an attempt to reboot and fix the brand. People within the sports entertainment company has noted that the last two weeks of 205 Live have been compared to WWE NXT.

What fans are seeing on the program is the vision that was planned originally with the 205 Live series before McMahon got involved in the creative of the program

Further evidence that Vince McMahon is completely out of touch with the modern day product.

The traditional WWE formula does not work with the Cruiserweights, as seen in the Classic tournament they need to be all about the ring action, storylines need to be minimal, just make it all about competitive ring action and allow the talent to go full throttle in the ring, no restrictions.

As I’ve said before I would keep the Cruiserweights off Raw, keep them to their own brand just run a few vignettes to promote 205 Live and maybe have top guys like Itami work the odd match alongside the heavyweights on Raw.

Thankfully Triple H seems to have the right vision for the product and now has control. I may actually give 205 Live a look.

McMahon's last division regarding 205 Live was to have Neville vs Aries as the kick off match for Wrestlemania. He hasn't been involved since. It's been down to the writers, who are still writing it now.

Yes, Triple H is now overseeing things but laying the blame at Vince's door is not the right move here.

But surely If the ratings aren’t what they should be and he’s not happy - regardless of if he is directly involved or not - has has the power to step in and make the necessary decisions to make the improvements required?

I have no doubt by the way that after seeing the benefits of NXT, Vince will be the one who put HHH in charge of 205 to see if he can have the same impact

According to these reports 205 Live! since the Royal Rumble has been completely overseen by Triple H and the use of the UK division guys like Tyler Bate and NXT talent like Roderick Strong have improved the show a lot and it's now being compared to NXT. That's fantastic news. I might even be compelled to go back and watch the last couple weeks of 205 Live! to see how it's changed.

Oh absolutely, Vince McMahon will definitely still be making decisions about 205 Live. Vince has final say on everything that happens in WWE, Triple H is just a guy in the middle.
